1	아담의 자손 아담의 역사는 이러하다. 하나님이 사람을 창조하실 때에, 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 만드셨다.	This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2	하나님은 그들을 남자와 여자로 창조하셨다. 그들을 창조하시던 날에, 하나님은 그들에게 복을 주시고, 그들의 이름을 '사람'이라고 하셨다.	Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3	아담은 백서른 살에, 자기의 형상 곧 자기의 모습을 닮은 아이를 낳고, 이름을 셋이라고 하였다.	And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4	아담은 셋을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5	아담은 모두 구백삼십 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6	셋은 백다섯 살에 에노스를 낳았다.	And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7	셋은 에노스를 낳은 뒤에, 팔백칠 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8	셋은 모두 구백십이 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9	에노스는 아흔 살에 게난을 낳았다.	And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10	에노스는 게난을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백십오 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11	에노스는 모두 구백오 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12	게난은 일흔 살에 마할랄렐을 낳았다.	And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
13	게난은 마할랄렐을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백사십 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14	게난은 모두 구백십 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15	마할랄렐은 예순다섯 살에 야렛을 낳았다.	And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16	마할랄렐은 야렛을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백삼십 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17	마할랄렐은 모두 팔백구십오 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18	야렛은 백예순두 살에 에녹을 낳았다.	And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19	야렛은 에녹을 낳은 뒤에, 팔백 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20	야렛은 모두 구백육십이 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21	에녹은 예순다섯 살에 므두셀라를 낳았다.	And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22	에녹은 므두셀라를 낳은 뒤에, 삼백 년 동안 하나님과 동행하면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23	에녹은 모두 삼백육십오 년을 살았다.	And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24	에녹은 하나님과 동행하다가 사라졌다. 하나님이 그를 데려가신 것이다.	And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25	므두셀라는 백여든일곱 살에, 라멕을 낳았다.	And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26	므두셀라는 라멕을 낳은 뒤에, 칠백팔십이 년을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27	므두셀라는 모두 구백육십구 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28	라멕은 백여든두 살에 아들을 낳았다.	And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29	그는 아들의 이름을 노아라고 하고 "주께서 저주하신 땅 때문에, 우리가 수고하고 고통을 겪어야 하는데, 이 아들이 우리를 위로할 것이다" 하고 말하였다.	And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.
30	라멕은 노아를 낳은 뒤에, 오백아흔다섯 살을 살면서, 아들딸을 낳았다.	And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31	라멕은 모두 칠백칠십칠 년을 살고 죽었다.	And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32	노아는 오백 살이 지나서, 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았다.	And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
