절	표준새번역 (1993)	King James Version
1	욥의 대답 욥이 대답하였다.	But Job answered and said,
2	나를 그렇게까지 생각하여 주니, 고맙다. 나처럼 가난하고 힘없는 자를 도와주다니!	How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
3	너는 우둔한 나를 잘 깨우쳐 주었고, 네 지혜를 내게 나누어 주었다.	How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4	그런데 누가, 네가 한 그런 말을 들을 것이라고 생각하느냐? 너는 누구에게 영감을 받아서 그런 말을 하는거냐?	To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5	죽은 자들이 떤다. 깊은 물 밑에서 사는 자들이 두려워한다.	Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
6	스올도 하나님께는 훤하게 보이고, 멸망의 구덩이도 그분의 눈에는 훤하게 보인다.	Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
7	하나님이 북쪽 하늘을 허공에 펼쳐 놓으시고, 이 땅덩이를 빈 곳에 매달아 놓으셨다.	He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8	구름 속에 물을 채우시고, 물이 구름 밑으로 터져 나오지 못하게 막고 계시는 분이 바로 하나님이시다.	He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9	하나님은 보름달을 구름 뒤에 숨기신다.	He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10	물 위에 수평선을 만드시고, 빛과 어둠을 나누신다.	He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11	그분께서 꾸짖으시면, 하늘을 떠받치는 기둥이 흔들린다.	The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12	능력으로 '바다'를 정복하시며, 지혜로 라합을 쳐부순다.	He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
13	그분의 콧김에 하늘이 맑게 개며, 그분의 손은 도망 치는 바다 괴물을 찔러 죽인다.	By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
14	그러나 이런 것들은, 그분이 하시는 일의 일부에 지나지 않고, 우리가 그분에게서 듣는 것도 가냘픈 속삭임에 지나지 않는다. 하물며 그분의 권능에 찬 우뢰 소리를 누가 이해할 수 있겠느냐!	Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
