1	성전 찬양대 다윗과 군대 지도자들은, 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔의 자손들을 뽑아 세워, 수금과 거문고와 심벌즈로 신령한 노래를 부르는 직무를 맡겼다. 이 직무를 맡은 사람의 수는 다음과 같다.	Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
2	아삽의 아들은 삭굴과 요셉과 느다냐와 아사렐라이다. 이 아삽의 아들들은 왕의 지시에 따라, 아삽의 지도를 받고 신령한 노래를 불렀다.	Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3	여두둔의 가문에는, 여두둔의 아들인 그달리야와 스리와 여사야와 하사뱌와 맛디디야, 이렇게 여섯이 있다. 그들은 수금을 타면서 주께 감사하며 찬양하며 예언하는 그들의 아버지 여두둔의 지도를 받았다.	Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4	헤만 가문에는 헤만의 아들인 북기야와 맛다냐와 웃시엘과 스브엘과 여리못과 하나냐와 하나니와 엘리아다와 깃달디와 로암디에셀과 요스브가사와 말로디와 호딜과 마하시옷이 있다.	Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5	이들은 모두 왕의 선견자 헤만의 아들이다. 그의 뿔을 높이 들어 주시겠다는 하나님의 말씀대로, 하나님께서는 헤만에게 열네 아들과 세 딸을 주셨다.	All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6	이들은 모두 그들의 아버지의 지도를 받으며 심벌즈와 거문고와 수금을 타면서, 주의 성전에서 노래를 불렀다. 이들은 하나님의 성전에서 맡은 일을 할 때에, 왕과 아삽과 여두둔과 헤만의 지도를 받았다.	All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7	이들과 이들의 친족의 수는 모두 이백팔십팔 명이다. 이들은 모두 주님을 찬양하는 법을 배운, 능숙한 사람들이다.	So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the Lord, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
8	이들이 제비를 뽑아서 책임을 맡을 때에는, 대가나 초보자나, 스승이나 배우는 사람이나, 구별을 두지 않았다.	And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
9	첫째로 제비 뽑힌 사람은 아삽 가문의 요셉과 (그 아들과 형제 열두 명,) 둘째는 그달리야와 그 형제와 아들 열두 명,	Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
10	셋째는 삭굴과 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
11	넷째는 이스리와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
12	다섯째는 느다냐와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13	여섯째는 북기야와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
14	일곱째는 여사렐라와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
15	여덟째는 여사야와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
16	아홉째는 맛다냐와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
17	열째는 시므이와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
18	열한째는 아사렐과 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
19	열두째는 하사뱌와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
20	열셋째는 수바엘과 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
21	열넷째는 맛디디야와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
22	열다섯째는 여레못과 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
23	열여섯째는 하나냐와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
24	열일곱째는 요스브가사와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
25	열여덟째는 하나니와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
26	열아홉째는 말로디와 그 아들과 형제 열두 명,	The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
