1	제사장이 맡은 일 아론 자손의 갈래는 다음과 같다. 아론의 아들은 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이다.	Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2	나답과 아비후는, 아버지보다 먼저 죽었다. 그들에게는 아들이 없었으므로, 엘르아살과 이다말이 제사장이 되었다.	But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3	다윗은, 엘르아살의 자손 사독과 이다말의 자손 아히멜렉과 함께 아론 자손의 갈래를 만들어서, 그들이 할 일에 따라 직무를 맡겼다.	And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
4	엘르아살 자손 가운데서 족장이 될 만한 사람이 이다말 자손에서보다 더 많았으므로, 엘르아살 자손을 그 가문을 따라 열여섯 명의 족장으로, 그리고 이다말 자손은 그 가문을 따라 여덟 명의 족장으로 나누었다.	And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5	성전에서 하나님의 일을 할 지도자들이 엘르아살 자손과 이다말 자손 가운데 모두 다 있으므로, 이 두 가문을 제비 뽑아, 공평하게 갈래를 나누었다.	Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6	레위 사람 느다넬의 아들 서기관 스마야가, 왕과 지도자들과 제사장 사독과 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉과 제사장과 레위 사람 가문의 지도자들이 지켜 보는 앞에서, 엘르아살과 이다말 가문 가운데서 한 집씩 제비를 뽑아, 그들의 이름을 기록하였다.	And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7	첫째로 제비 뽑힌 사람은 여호야립이고, 둘째는 여다야이고,	Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8	셋째는 하림이고, 넷째는 스오림이고,	The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9	다섯째는 말기야이고, 여섯째는 미야민이고,	The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10	일곱째는 학고스이고, 여덟째는 아비야이고,	The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11	아홉째는 예수아이고, 열째는 스가냐이고,	The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12	열한째는 엘리아십이고, 열두째는 야김이고,	The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13	열셋째는 훕바이고, 열넷째는 예세브압이고,	The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14	열다섯째는 빌가이고, 열여섯째는 임멜이고,	The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15	열일곱째는 헤실이고, 열여덟째는 합비세스이고,	The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16	열아홉째는 브다히야이고, 스무째는 여헤스겔이고,	The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
17	스물한째는 야긴이고, 스물두째는 가물이고,	The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18	스물셋째는 들라야이고, 스물넷째는 마아시야이다.	The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19	그들은 하는 일에 따라 주의 성전에 들어가서, 주 이스라엘의 하나님께서 그들의 조상 아론을 시켜서 지시하신 규례대로, 직무를 수행하였다.	These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
20	레위 사람 명단 나머지 레위 자손은, 아므람의 자손인 수바엘과 수바엘의 자손인 예드야와,	And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
21	르하뱌의 가문에서 족장 르하뱌의 자손인 잇시야와,	Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.
22	이스할의 가문에서 슬로못과 슬로못의 자손인 야핫과,	Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
23	헤브론의 아들 가운데서 맏아들 여리야와 둘째 아마랴와 셋째 야하시엘과 넷째 여가므암이고,	And the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24	웃시엘의 자손인 미가와, 미가의 자손인 사밀과,	Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
25	미가의 아우 잇시야와, 잇시야의 자손인 스가랴와,	The brother of Michah was Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
26	므라리의 자손인 마흘리와 무시이다. 또 야아시야의 아들인 브노가 있다.	The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27	므라리의 자손 야아시야 가문에 브노와, 소함과, 삭굴과, 이브리가 있고,	The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28	마흘리 가문에는 엘르아살이 있다. 엘르아살에게는 아들이 없다.	Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
29	기스 가문에 기스의 아들 여라므엘이 있고,	Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.
30	무시의 자손으로 마흘리와 에델과 여리못이 있다.이들이 가문별로 등록된 레위 자손이다.	The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
31	이들도 그들의 형제인 아론 자손과 마찬가지로, 다윗 왕과 사독과 아히멜렉과 제사장과 레위 사람 가문의 족장 앞에서 제비를 뽑았다. 가문의 종가이든 가장 작은 집이든, 공평하게 제비를 뽑았다.	These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
