1	성령의 선물 형제자매 여러분, 신령한 은사들에 대하여, 나는 여러분이 모르고 지내기를 바라지 않습니다.	Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2	여러분이 아는 대로, 여러분은 이방 사람으로 있을 때에는, 이리저리 끄는 대로, 말 못하는 우상 앞으로 끌려 다녔습니다.	Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3	그러므로 나는 여러분에게 알려드립니다. 하나님의 영으로 말하는 사람은 아무도 "예수는 저주를 받아라" 하고 말할 수 없고, 또 성령으로 감동하지 않고서는 아무도 "예수는 주님이시다" 하고 말할 수 없습니다.	Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
4	은혜의 선물은 여러 가지지만, 그것을 주시는 성령은 같은 성령이십니다.	Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5	섬기는 일은 여러 가지지만, 같은 주님을 섬깁니다.	And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6	일의 성과는 여러 가지지만, 모든 사람 안에서 모든 일을 이루시는 분은 같은 하나님이십니다.	And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7	각 사람에게 성령을 나타내시는 것은 공동의 이익을 얻게 하려고 하시는 것입니다.	But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8	어떤 사람에게는 성령으로 지혜의 말씀을 주시고, 어떤 사람에게는 같은 성령으로 지식의 말씀을 주십니다.	For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9	어떤 사람에게는 같은 성령으로 믿음을 주시고, 어떤 사람에게는 같은 성령으로 병 고치는 은사를 주십니다.	To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10	어떤 사람에게는 기적을 행하는 능력을 주시고, 어떤 사람에게는 예언하는 은사를 주시고, 어떤 사람에게는 영을 분별하는 은사를 주십니다. 어떤 사람에게는 여러 가지 방언을 말하는 은사를 주시고, 어떤 사람에게는 그 방언을 통역하는 은사를 주십니다.	To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11	이 모든 일은 한 분이신 같은 성령이 하시며, 그분은 자기가 원하는 대로 각 사람에게 은사를 나누어 주십니다.	But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12	하나의 몸과 많은 지체들 몸은 하나인데 많은 지체가 있고, 몸의 지체는 많지만 한 몸임과 같이, 그리스도도 그러합니다.	For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13	우리는 유대 사람이든지, 그리스 사람이든지, 종이든지, 자유인이든지, 모두 한 성령으로 세례를 받아서 한 몸이 되었고, 또 모두 한 성령을 마시게 되었습니다.	For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14	몸은 한 지체가 아니라, 여러 지체로 되어 있습니다.	For the body is not one member, but many.
15	발이 말하기를 "나는 손이 아니니, 몸에 속한 것이 아니다" 한다고 해서 발이 몸에 속하지 않은 것이 아닙니다.	If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16	또 귀가 말하기를 "나는 눈이 아니니, 몸에 속한 것이 아니다" 한다고 해서 귀가 몸에 속하지 않은 것이 아닙니다.	And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17	온몸이 다 눈이라면, 어떻게 듣겠습니까? 또 온몸이 다 귀라면, 냄새는 어떻게 맡겠습니까?	If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18	그런데 실은 하나님께서는, 원하시는 대로, 우리 몸에다가 각각 다른 여러 지체를 두셨습니다.	But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19	전체가 한 지체로 되어 있다고 하면, 몸은 어디에 있습니까?	And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20	그런데 실은 지체는 여럿이지만, 몸은 하나입니다.	But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21	그러므로 눈이 손에게 말하기를 "너는 내게 쓸 데가 없다" 할 수가 없고, 머리가 발에게 말하기를 "너는 내게 쓸 데가 없다" 할 수가 없습니다.	And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22	그뿐만 아니라, 사람이 몸 가운데서 더 약하다고 여기는 지체가 오히려 더 요긴합니다.	Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23	그리고 몸 가운데서 덜 귀하다고 생각하는 지체들을 더욱 귀한 것으로 입히고, 볼품 없는 지체들을 더욱더 아름답게 꾸며 줍니다.	And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24	그러나 아름다운 지체들에게는 그럴 필요가 없습니다. 하나님께서는 몸을 골고루 짜 맞추셔서 부족한 지체에게 더 큰 존귀함을 주셨습니다.	For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25	그래서 몸에 분열이 생기지 않게 하시고, 지체들이 서로 같이 걱정하게 하셨습니다.	That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26	한 지체가 고통을 당하면, 모든 지체가 같이 고통을 당합니다. 한 지체가 영광을 받으면, 모든 지체가 함께 기뻐합니다.	And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27	여러분은 그리스도의 몸이요, 한 사람 한 사람은 그 지체입니다.	Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28	하나님께서 교회 안에 세우신 이들은, 첫째는 사도요, 둘째는 예언자요, 셋째는 교사요, 다음은 기적을 행하는 사람이요, 다음은 병을 고치는 은사를 받은 사람이요, 남을 도와 주는 사람이요, 관리하는 사람이요, 여러 가지 방언으로 말하는 사람입니다.	And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29	그러니, 모두가 사도이겠습니까? 모두가 예언자이겠습니까? 모두가 교사이겠습니까? 모두가 기적을 행하는 사람이겠습니까?	Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30	모두가 병 고치는 은사를 받은 사람이겠습니까? 모두가 방언으로 말하는 사람이겠습니까? 모두가 통역하는 사람이겠습니까?	Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31	그러나 여러분은 더 큰 은사를 열심히 구하십시오. 이제 내가 가장 좋은 길을 여러분에게 보여드리겠습니다.	But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
