1	정복하지 못한 지역 여호수아가 늙고 나이가 많아졌다. 주님께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. “너는 늙었고 나이가 많은데, 정복하여야 할 땅은 아직도 많이 남아 있다.	Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
2	남아 있는 땅은 이러하다. 블레셋 사람과 그술 사람의 모든 지역과,	This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
3	이집트의 동쪽에 있는 시홀 시내로부터 북쪽 에그론 경계까지에 이르는 가나안 땅과, 가사와 아스돗과 아스글론과 가드와 에그론 등 블레셋의 다섯 왕의 땅과, 아위 사람의 땅과,	From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
4	남쪽으로 가나안의 모든 땅과, 시돈의 므아라로부터 아모리 사람의 변경 아벡까지,	From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:
5	또 그발 사람의 땅과, 동쪽의 레바논 땅 전체와 헤르몬 산 남쪽 바알갓에서 하맛에 이르는 곳까지이다.	And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal–gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
6	그리고 레바논에서부터 미스르봇마임에 이르는 산간지방에 사는 모든 사람 곧 시돈 사람을, 내가 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 모두 쫓아낼 터이니, 너는 오직 내가 너에게 지시한 대로, 그 땅을 이스라엘 자손에게 유산으로 나누어 주어라.	All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth–maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7	너는 이제 이 땅을 아홉 지파와 므낫세의 반쪽 지파에게 유산으로 나누어 주어라.”	Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
8	요단 강 동쪽 지역의 분할 므낫세 반쪽 지파와 함께 르우벤 사람과 갓 사람은 모세가 요단 강 동쪽에서 그들에게 준 유산을 이미 받았다. 주님의 종 모세가 그들에게 준 유산은 이러하다.	With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the Lord gave them;
9	그들은 아르논 골짜기의 끝에 있는 아로엘에서부터, 그 골짜기 가운데에 있는 성읍과 메드바에서 디본까지에 이르는 모든 평원지대와,	From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;
10	헤스본에서 다스린 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼의 모든 성읍 곧 암몬 자손의 경계까지와,	And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
11	길르앗과 그술 사람과 마아갓 사람의 경계와, 헤르몬의 온 산간지방과 살르가까지에 이르는 바산의 모든 지역,	And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
12	곧 르바의 마지막 남은 족속으로서, 아스다롯과 에드레이에서 다스린 바산 왕 옥의 온 나라를 차지하였다. 모세가 이미 그들을 정복하고 그들의 땅을 차지하였지만,	All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
13	이스라엘 자손이 그술 사람과 마아갓 사람은 쫓아내지 않았기 때문에, 그술과 마아갓 사람들이 오늘날까지 이스라엘 자손 가운데 섞여서 살고 있다.	Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
14	모세는 레위 지파에게만 유산을 주지 않았는데, 그것은 하나님께서 그에게 말씀하신 대로, 주 이스라엘의 하나님께 불살라서 드리는 제물이 그들의 유산이기 때문이다.	Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the Lord God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
15	르우벤 지파의 땅 다음은 모세가 르우벤 자손 지파에게 각 가문을 따라 나누어 준 땅이다.	And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.
16	그들의 지역은, 아르논 골짜기의 끝에 있는 아로엘에서부터, 그 골짜기 가운데에 있는 성읍과 메드바에 있는 모든 평원지대와,	And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
17	헤스본과 그 평원지대에 있는 모든 성읍, 곧 디본과 바못바알과 벳바알므온과	Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth–baal, and Beth–baal–meon,
18	야하스와 그데못과 메바앗과	And Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19	기랴다임과 십마와 골짜기의 언덕에 있는 세렛사할과	And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth–shahar in the mount of the valley,
20	벳브올과 비스가 기슭과 벳여시못과	And Beth–peor, and Ashdoth–pisgah, and Beth–jeshimoth,
21	평지의 모든 성읍과 헤스본에서 다스리던 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼이 다스리던 모든 왕국이다. 모세는 시혼에게 한 대로 에위와 레겜과 수르와 훌과 레바를 모두 무찔렀다. 그들은 미디안의 우두머리로서, 그 땅에 살면서 시혼의 밑에서 통치하던 자들이다.	And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
22	이스라엘 자손이 그들을 살육할 때에, 브올의 아들인 점쟁이 발람도 다른 여러 사람과 함께 칼에 맞아서 죽었다.	Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.
23	르우벤 자손의 서쪽 경계선은 요단 강이다. 르우벤 자손이 그 가문을 따라 유산으로 받은 성읍과 마을은 위와 같다.	And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
24	갓 지파의 땅 다음은 모세가 갓 지파 곧 갓 자손에게 그 가문을 따라 나누어 준 땅이다.	And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.
25	그들이 차지한 지역은 야스엘과 길르앗의 모든 성읍과 랍바 앞의 아로엘까지 이르는 암몬 자손의 땅 반쪽과	And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
26	헤스본에서 라맛미스바와 브도님까지와 마하나임에서 드빌 경계선까지인데,	And from Heshbon unto Ramath–mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;
27	요단 강 계곡에 있는 벳하람과 벳니므라와 숙곳과 사본 곧 헤스본 왕 시혼의 나라의 남은 땅도 그들의 것이 되었다. 갓 지파의 서쪽 경계는 요단 강인데, 북쪽으로는 긴네렛 바다까지 이른다.	And in the valley, Beth–aram, and Beth–nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
28	이것이 갓 자손이 그 가문을 따라 유산으로 받은 성읍과 마을들이다.	This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.
29	동쪽 므낫세 지파의 땅 모세가 므낫세의 반쪽 지파에게 몫으로 주어서, 므낫세 자손의 반쪽 지파가 가문을 따라 받은 땅은 다음과 같다.	And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.
30	그들이 차지한 지역은 마하나임에서부터 바산의 온 땅 곧 바산 왕 옥의 왕국 전체와, 바산에 있는 야일의 주거지 전체인 예순 성읍과,	And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
31	길르앗의 반쪽과, 바산 왕 옥의 왕국에 있는 두 성읍인 아스다롯과 에드레이이다. 이 성읍들은 므낫세의 아들 마길의 자손 곧 마길 자손의 반쪽이 가문을 따라 받은 것이다.	And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
32	이상이 모세가 여리고 동쪽 곧 요단 강 동쪽의 모압 평지에서 두 지파와 반쪽 지파에게 유산으로 나누어 준 땅이다.	These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
33	그러나 레위 지파에게는 모세가 유산을 주지 않았다. 하나님이 그들에게 말씀하신 대로, 주 이스라엘의 하나님이 바로 그들의 유산이기 때문이다.	But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
