1	모세가 정복한 왕들 이스라엘 자손이 요단 강 동쪽 해 돋는 쪽 곧 아르논 골짜기에서부터 헤르몬 산까지, 동쪽 온 아라바를 무찌르고 점령하였는데, 그 땅의 왕들은 다음과 같다.	Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
2	하나는 헤스본에 사는 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼이다. 그는 아르논 골짜기 끝에 있는 아로엘에서 골짜기 중간과 길르앗의 반쪽과 더 나아가서 암몬 자손의 경계인 얍복 강까지를 다스렸다.	Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
3	그는 또한 아라바 동쪽 방면의 긴네롯 바다까지와 아라바의 바다, 곧 동쪽 방면의 사해, 벳여시못으로 통하는 길까지와 남쪽으로는 비스가 산 기슭까지 다스렸다.	And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth–jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth–pisgah:
4	또 하나는 바산 왕인 옥이다. 그는 르바 족 가운데서 살아 남아, 아스다롯과 에드레이에서 살고 있었다.	And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5	그는 헤르몬 산과 살르가와 온 바산과 그술 사람과 마아가 사람과 길르앗의 반쪽과, 그리고 더 나아가서 헤스본 왕 시혼이 다스리는 땅의 경계선까지 다스렸다.	And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6	이 두 왕은 바로 주님의 종 모세와 이스라엘 자손이 무찌른 사람들이다. 주님의 종 모세가 그 땅을 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 므낫세 반쪽 지파에게 주어서 소유로 삼도록 하였다.	Them did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
7	여호수아가 정복한 왕들 여호수아와 이스라엘 자손이 요단 강 동쪽에 있는 서쪽 레바논 골짜기의 바알갓에서부터 세일로 올라가는 곳인 할락 산까지, 그 땅의 왕을 모두 무찔렀다. 여호수아가 이스라엘의 지파들에게 그 지파의 구분을 따라 그 땅을 나누어 주어서 가지게 하였다.	And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal–gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
8	그 땅은 산간지방과 평지와 아라바와 경사지와 광야로서, 헷 사람과 아모리 사람과 가나안 사람과 브리스 사람과 히위 사람과 여부스 사람이 사는 남쪽에 있다.	In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
9	그들이 무찌른 왕들은 다음과 같다. 여리고 왕이 하나, 베델 근처의 아이 왕이 하나,	The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Beth–el, one;
10	예루살렘 왕이 하나, 헤브론 왕이 하나,	The king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
11	야르뭇 왕이 하나, 라기스 왕이 하나,	The king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
12	에글론 왕이 하나, 게셀 왕이 하나,	The king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;
13	드빌 왕이 하나, 게델 왕이 하나,	The king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
14	호르마 왕이 하나, 아랏 왕이 하나,	The king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
15	립나 왕이 하나, 아둘람 왕이 하나,	The king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
16	막게다 왕이 하나, 베델 왕이 하나,	The king of Makkedah, one; the king of Beth–el, one;
17	답부아 왕이 하나, 헤벨 왕이 하나,	The king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;
18	아벡 왕이 하나, 랏사론 왕이 하나,	The king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;
19	마돈 왕이 하나, 하솔 왕이 하나,	The king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;
20	시므론므론 왕이 하나, 악삽 왕이 하나,	The king of Shimron–meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;
21	다아낙 왕이 하나, 므깃도 왕이 하나,	The king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
22	게데스 왕이 하나, 갈멜의 욕느암 왕이 하나,	The king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, one;
23	도르 언덕의 도르 왕이 하나, 길갈의 고임 왕이 하나,	The king of Dor in the coast of Dor, one; the king of the nations of Gilgal, one;
24	디르사 왕이 하나이다. 이 왕들은 모두 서른한 명이다.	The king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.
