| 2 | Fino a quando giudicherete ingiustamente, e avrete riguardo alle persone degli empi? Sela. | How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. |
| 3 | Fate ragione al misero e all’orfano, rendete giustizia all’afflitto e al povero! | Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. |
| 4 | Liberate il misero ed il bisognoso, salvatelo dalla mano degli empi! | Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. |
| 5 | Essi non conoscono né intendono nulla; camminano nelle tenebre; tutti i fondamenti della terra sono smossi. | They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. |
