| 2 | Il mio aiuto vien dall’Eterno che ha fatto il cielo e la terra. | My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. |
| 3 | Egli non permetterà che il tuo piè vacilli; colui che ti protegge non sonnecchierà. | He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. |
| 4 | Ecco, colui che protegge Israele non sonnecchierà né dormirà. | Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. |
| 5 | L’Eterno è colui che ti protegge; l’Eterno è la tua ombra; egli sta alla tua destra. | The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. |
| 6 | Di giorno il sole non ti colpirà, né la luna di notte. | The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. |
