| 2 | O Eterno, libera l’anima mia dalle labbra bugiarde, dalla lingua fraudolenta. | Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. |
| 3 | Che ti sarà dato e che ti sarà aggiunto, o lingua fraudolenta? | What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? |
| 4 | Frecce di guerriero, acute, con carboni di ginepro. | Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. |
| 5 | Misero me che soggiorno in Mesec, e dimoro fra le tende di Kedar! | Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! |
