|---|---|---|
O, jak miłe są twoje przybytki, Panie zastępów! | How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
Moja dusza wzdycha i omdlewa z tęsknoty do przedsionków Pana; moje serce i ciało wołają radośnie do Boga żywego. | My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
Oto nawet wróbel znalazł sobie dom i jaskółka gniazdo, gdzie składa swe pisklęta, u twoich ołtarzy, Panie zastępów, mój Królu i mój Boże! | Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
Błogosławieni ci, którzy mieszkają w twoim domu, nieustannie będą cię chwalić. Sela. | Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
Błogosławiony człowiek, którego siła jest w tobie, w którego sercu są twoje drogi; | Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
Ci, którzy przechodząc przez dolinę Baka, zmieniają ją w źródło, a deszcz okrywa ją błogosławieństwem. | Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
I idą z mocy w moc, i ukażą się przed Bogiem na Syjonie. | They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
O Panie, Boże zastępów, wysłuchaj mojej modlitwy, nakłoń ucha, Boże Jakuba. Sela. | O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
Spójrz, Boże, nasza tarczo, i wejrzyj na oblicze twego pomazańca. | Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
Lepszy bowiem jest jeden dzień w twoich przedsionkach niż tysiąc gdzie indziej; wolę raczej stać w progu domu mego Boga, niż mieszkać w namiotach niegodziwców. | For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Pan Bóg bowiem jest słońcem i tarczą, Pan obdarza łaską i chwałą, nie odmawia dobra tym, którzy postępują nienagannie. | For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Panie zastępów, błogosławiony człowiek, który ufa tobie. | O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
