| 2 | Bardzoć mię utrapili od młodości mojej, wszakże mię nie przemogli. | Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me. |
| 3 | Po grzbiecie moim orali oracze, i długie przeganiali brózdy swoje. | The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. |
| 4 | Ale Pan sprawiedliwy poprzecinał powrozy niezbożników. | The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. |
| 5 | Zawstydzeni i nazad obróceni będą wszyscy, którzy Syon mają w nienawiści. | Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. |
| 6 | Będą jako trawa na dachu, która pierwej, niż odrośnie, usycha. | Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up: |
| 7 | Z której żeńca nie może garści swej napełnić; ani naręcza swego ten, który wiąże snopy. | Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. |
| 8 | I mimo idący nie rzeką: Błogosławieństwo Pańskie niech będzie z wami; albo: Błogosławimy wam w imieniu Pańskiem. | Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the name of the Lord. |
