POSON me pason en me kitail kin kaporoporeki o kadede pan me so sansal. | Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Pwe i me men kaua aleer kadede parail. | For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Ni poson kitail asa, me lang o sappa wiauikier masan en Kot, iei me dipisou kan, me kitail kin kilang, so wiauiki meakai me sansal. | Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Ni poson Apel mairongiki ong Kot me mau sang Kain, ap dedekilar, me i me pung, pwe Kot kotin kupukupura a kisakis. O i me a kin padapadaki murin a melar lao lel met. | By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
Ni poson Enok peukadala, pwen der kilang mela, ari, a soer diarokada, pwe Kot kotin ukadala i, a mon a peukadala kadedepa mia, duen a kon ong Kot. | By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
A ma so poson, sota me pan kak kon ong Kot. Pwe me men tu ong Kot, en poson, me a kotin mia, o me a pan kotin katingi ong ir, me rapaki i. | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Ni poson Noa masakadar, ni a kauada war im, pwen kamaureda toun im a, ni a aleer masan en Kot, duen me saikenta sansal, o i me a kadeikada sappa, o sosoki pung, me pwili sang poson. | By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Ni poson Apraam peiki ong Kot, ni a paeker, en lipalang eu sap, me a pan sosoki; i ari lipalang o sota asa, wasa me a pan kotila ia. | By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Ni poson a wiala men wai amen nan sap en inau, o kotikot nan im likau kai, a Isaak o Iakop, me pan pil ale soso en inau ota, iang i, | By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Pwe a auiaui kanim eu, me a pason mia, me wiauieda ren Kot. | For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Pil Sara keleki poson ni a pan liseanda, ap naitikada seri amen, ni a li dapwan, pwe a asa, me i melel amen, me kotiki ong i inau o. | Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
I me sang me ta men, me rasong mela amen, me toto tapida sang, due usu en lang me totoia, o me rasong pik en ni oror, me sota kak wadawad. | Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
Mepukat karos matalar nin poson o kaikenta paieki inau o, a re kilanger sang ni wasa doo, ap peren kidar o kadededar, me re men kairu o men wai nin sappa. | These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
A ni ar wia due met, re kin kasaleda, me re rapaki udan sap arail. | For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
A ma irail ngongki sap o, me re ko sanger, irail pan kak purelang. | And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
A so, pwe re inong iong eu sap, me mau sang sappa, me mi nanlang, i me Kot sota kotin namenokki wiala arail Kot, pwe a kotin kaonop ong irail er kanim eu. | But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Ni poson Apraam mairongki Isaak, ni a kasongesong o mueidala na ieros, murin a aleer inau o. | By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
Iran i a lokido: Sang Isaak kadaudok om me pan irerok wei. | Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
Pwe a asa, me Kot pil kotin kak kamaurada i sang ren me melar akan, i me a pil pur ong naine kin i, pwen wia karasepa eu. | Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
Ni poson Isaak kapaiadang Iakop o Esau meakan me pan wiaui. | By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
Ni poson Iakop kapaiada nain Iosep putak riamen, ni a pan matala, o a pairukila pon a sokon. | By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.

Ni poson Moses, ni a ipwidier, okiokilar ren sam a in a saunipong silu, pwe ira kilanger, me a seri kaselel amen, o ira sota masak en nanmarki a kusoned. | By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.
Ni poson Moses lao laudala, kang inaneki nain Parao seripein. | By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;
O a piladar en iang sapwilim en Kot aramas akan kamekam, sang peren mal en dip me motomot. | Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
O a kasampwaleki kanamenok en Kristus sang kapwa en Äkipten, pwe a kupukupura katingpa. | Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
Ni poson a lipa sang Äkipten, sota lomwiki ongiong en nanmarki, pwe a kotin kaporoporeki, me a sota kilanger, dueta a kilang i. | By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Ni poson a wia pasa o usup en nta, pwe me pan kamela meseni kan, ender kai ong ir. | Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
Ni poson irail kotela sed waitata, likamata nan sap madekong, me men Äkipten oko pil song, rap mopelar. | By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

O da me i en pil kasoiada? Pwe ansau me tikitik en wia kasoi duen Kideon, o Parak, o Simson, o Iepta, o Dawid, o Samuel, o saukop akan. | And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
Duen ar kaloekidi wei kan poson, kapwaiada lamalam pung, paieki inau kan, kaku pena au en laien, | Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
Kakunla kel en kisiniai, piti sang au en kodlas, luetalar rap kelail lar, komad ni mauin, kaloedier saunpei en wai kan. | Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

A akai kalokoloker o kang maiolar, pwe re men konodi maureda sang ren me melar akan me mau melel. | Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: |
Pil akai wewelokelar, o wokiwok, o pil salidi, o lodi ong nan imateng. | And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

A men liki sota war ong mepukat. Irail koko sili nan sap tan, nin nana kan, pan paip o por kai. | (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
Mepukat karos lok mau kilar ar poson, a sota paieki inau o. | And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Pwe Kot kotin kaonopadang kitail me mau sang arail pai, pwe irail ender unsokalar mo atail. | God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
