MURIN mepukat Iesus kotin kotela le en Tiperias nan Kaliläa. | After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
A pokon kalaimun me idedauen i pweki ar kilanger kilel akan, me a kotin wiai ong me somau kan. | And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
Iesus ap kotidala pon dol o, kaipokedi wasa o ren sapwilim a tounpadak kan. | And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
A pasa o, ran lapalap en Sus oko me korendor. | And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.
Iesus lao kotin masanda masani pokon kalaimun koko dong i, ap kotin masani ong Pilipus: Ia wasa, sen neti sang ia kisin manga, pwe mepukat en manga? | When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
A kotin masani mepukat, pwen kasongesong i. Pwe pein i mangi, me a pan wiada. | And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
Pilipus potoan ong i: Prot me denar riepuki sota pan itar ong irail, pwe amen amen en tungole ekis. | Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
Andreas, sapwilim a tounpadak amen, ri en Simon Petrus potoan ong i: | One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him,
Kisin putak amen mia, me a lopon en prot limau o mam riamen, a sota katepa ren me toto. | There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
Iesus kotin masani: Kamod ong irail edi! Ari, wasa o me reen. Impan ol limekid ap mondi. | And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
Iesus ap kotikida lopon ko, a lao laolaoki, ap kotin nek ong irail me mondier, pil dueta mam oko, irail lao metilar. | And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
Irail lao metier, a kotin masani ong sapwilim a tounpadak kan: Ki pena me lua, pwe ekis der lokidokila! | When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
Irail ap ki pena kopou eisokriau kisan lopon ko, me luadi murin arail manga. | Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
Aramas akan lao kilanger kilel o, me Iesus kotin wiadar, re ap indada: Melel i Saukop o, me pan pwara dong sappa. | Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
Iesus lao kotin mangi, me re pan poto dong i, pwen kasapwiladang i Nanmarki, ap pil kotidalang nin dol o, kotin kelepala. | When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
A lao sautik pena, sapwilim a tounpadak kan ap kotilang ni oror, | And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,
Kereda pon sop pot, kotela kokolang Kapernaum. A lao wasa pongier, Iesus saikenta iang irail. | And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
A sed me iluken, pwe ang me ma. | And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.
Irail seisei kila mail eisoklimau de rieisok, rap kilangada Iesus a kotikotido pon sed koren iong sop, irail ap masapwekadar. | So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
A kotin masani ong irail: Ngai i komail der masak! | But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.
lrail ap men kasamo i pon sop o, a sop o madang milar ni sap o, me re ko ong ia. | Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
A mandan ran o pokon o, me mi palilan le, lao kilanger, me sota apot sop mi wasa o, pwe i eta, me sapwilim a tounpadak kan keredang poa, o me Iesus sota iang sapwilim a tounpadak kan kotidang pon sop o, pwe a tounpadak kan kola kelep. | The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
A pil akai kisin sop me pwarado sang Tiperias, tanga dong wasa o, me re mangamanga ia, murin Kaun o kotin laolao. | (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)
Aramas akan lao kilanger, me Iesus solar kotikot ia, o sapwilim a tounpadak kan pil so, rap dake sop pot kolang Kapernaum, raparapaki Iesus. | When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.
Irail lao diaradar i palilan le, ap potoan ong: Rapi iad me re kotido? | And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?
Iesus kotin sapeng irail masani: Melel, melel I indai ong komail, komail kin rapakin ia kaidin pweki kilel akan, me komail kilang, a pweki komail kangala kisin prot ap metier. | Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
Komail der dokki manga, me kin ola, a dokki manga me kin mimieta ong maur soutuk, me Nain aramas pan ki ong komail, pwe i me Kot Sam kileledier. | Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Irail ap potoan ong i: Da me sen wiada, pwen kapwaiada en Kot a dodok kan? | Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Iesus kotin sapeng masani ong irail: Iet en Kot a dodok: Komail en poson i, me a kadarado. | Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Irail ari potoan ong i: Kilel da, me re kotikida, pwe sen kilang o poson ir? Da me re kotin wiada? | They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
Sam at akan me kangala mana nan sap tan o, duen a intingidier: A kotiki ong irail prot sang nanlang, en kangala. | Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
Iesus ap kotin masani ong irail: Melel, melel I indai ong komail, kaidin Moses, me ki ong komail prot sang nanlang, a Sam ai kin ki ong komail prot melel sang nanlang. | Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
Pwe me kodido sang nanlang, o ki ong sappa maur, iei prot en Kot. | For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
Irail ap indang i: Maing, kotiki dong kit prot wet kaukaule! | Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
Iesus kotin masani ong irail: Prot en kamaur ngai, me ko dong ia solar pan men mangadar, o me poson ia, solar men nim piladar. | And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
A I indai ong komail er, komail kilang ia er, ap so poson la. | But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
Karos me Sam ki ong ia, pan ko dong ia, a me ko dong ia, I sota pan kasela. | All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Pwe ngai kodido sang nanlang, kaidin pwen wiada insen ai, pwe kupur en i, me kadar ia do. | For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Pwe iet kupur en me kadar ia do, karos me a ki ong ia er, I ender kasela amen, pwe I en kamaureda ni ran nik o. | And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
A iet kupur en Sam ai, amen amen, me kin kilang Na o poson i, en aneki maur soutuk, a I pan kamaureda i ni ran nik o. | And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Sus oko ap lipanedeki i, pweki a kotin masani: Ngai prot, me kodi sang nanlang. | The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
Irail indada: Kaidin i Iesus nain Iosep? A sam a o in a se asa. Ari, daduen a indada: I kodido sang nanlang? | And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
Iesus kotin sapeng masani ong irail: Komail der lipaned nan pung omail! | Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
Sota me pan kak ko dong ia, ma Sam, me kadar ia dor, sota kainongido i. A I pan kamaureda i ni ran nik o. | No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
A intingidier nan saukop akan: Irail karos pan ale padak sang ren Kot. Amen amen me rongadar o padakki ren Sam, kin ko dong ia. | It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
Ari, kaidin pweki meamen kilang Sam; i eta, me kodo sang ren Kot, i me kilanger Sam. | Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
Melel, melel I indai ong komail, me poson ia, iei me aneki maur soutuk. | Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Prot en maur ngai. | I am that bread of life.
Sam omail oko, me kangala mana nan sap tan o, ir ari melar. | Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
Met prot, me kodido sang nanlang, meamen kin kang sang i, sota pan mela. | This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
Ngai prot maur, me kodido sang nanlang, meamen kang sang prot wet, pan memaur kokolata. Prot, me I pan kida, iei uduk ai, me i pan kida en kamaur kida sappa. | I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Sus oko ari akamaiki pena indada: Iaduen men et pan kak ki ong kit uduk a sen kang? | The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Iesus ap kotin masani ong irail: Melel, melel I indai ong komail, ma komail sota pan kang uduk en Nain aramas o nim nta, sota maur omail. | Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Me kin kang uduk ai o nim nt’ ai, iei me aneki maur soutuk, a I pan kamaureda i ni ran nik o. | Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Pwe manga melel uduk ai, o pil melel nt’ ai. | For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Me kin kang uduk ai o nim nt’ ai, iei me podidi ong ia o ngai podidi ong i. | He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Duen Sam ieias kadar ia do, o ngai memaureki Sam, iduen me kang uduk o nt’ ai, pan meaureki ngai. | As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Iet prot, me kodido sang nanlang, kaidin duen sam omail akan, me kangala mana ap mela, a meamen kin kang prot wet, pan memaur kokolata. | This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
Mepukat a kotin masani wei nan sinakoke, ni a kotin kawewe nan Kapernaum. | These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
Ari, me toto ren sapwilim a tounpadak kan, me rongadar mepukat indada: Padak pot et meid apwal! Is me kak rong? | Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
Iesus lao kotin angi nan kupur a, me sapwilim a tounpadak kan lipanedeki mepukat, ap kotin masani ong irail: Komail makaraki mepukat? | When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
A ma komail pan kilang Nain aramas kodala wasa, me a kauson ia mas o? | What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
Ngen me kin kamaureda, a uduk sota katepa. Padak kan, me I kin padapadaki ong komail, iei Ngen o maur. | It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
A akai mi re omail, me so poson. Pwe Iesus kotin mangi, me so poson o me pan pangala i. | But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
A kotin masani: I me I indaki ong komail, sota me kak ko dong ia, ma Sam sota kainongido. | And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
Sang ni ansau o sapwilim a tounpadak kan toto mueiwei sang o solar idauen i. | From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Iesus ap kotin kainoma ren ekriamen oko: Komail pil pan kola? | Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
A Simon Petrus ap sapeng i: Maing, is me se en ko ong? Pwe ar masan akan iei maur soutuk. | Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
A kit posonlar o asaer, me ir me Saraui en Kot. | And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
Iesus kotin sapeng irail: Kaidek komail ekriamen, me I piladar, a amen komail me tewil amen. | Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
A kotin masaniada duen Iudas Iskariot nain Simon, pwe i amen ren ekriamen oko, me pan pangala i. | He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.
