KAPINGA Ieowa, pwe i me mau, pwe a kalangan pan potopot eta. | O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Iduen me dorelar ren Ieowa kan pan indinda, irail me a kotin dorelar sang nan pa en arail imwintiti; | Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
Me a kotin kapokon pena sang sap en mas en lang, o kapin lang, o pali apang, o sang madau. | And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
Irail sansalong sili nan sap tan, pol al apwal, re sota diarada deu ’rail. | They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
Re men mangadar o men nim piladar, o kaped arail luetalar. | Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
Rap weriwer wong Ieowa ni ar kankangeranger, o a kotin dore ir sang nan ar apwal akan. | Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
O a kotin kalua ir pon al pung, pwe ren lel ong wasan kaukauson. | And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
Ren kapinga Ieowa, pweki a kalangan o pweki a dodok manaman ong aramas akan. | Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Pwe a kotin kamede kilar kaped en me men nim piladar, o kadir kila me mau kan kaped en me men mangadar. | For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
Me mi ni wasa rotorot o mot en mela, me salikidi luet o mata. | Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
Pweki ar katiwo ong masan en Kot, o ar mamaleki kusoned en ma lapalap o. | Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
I ap kaloke kin ir apwal akan, re wonon, a sota sauas parail. | Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
Rap weriwer wong Ieowa ni ar apwal akan, i ap kotin dore ir ala sang katoutou parail. | Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
A kotin kalua ir sang nan rotorot, o mot en mela, o kotin kamueit pasang ar sal akan. | He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
Ren kapinga Ieowa, pweki a kalangan o pweki a dodok manaman ong aramas akan. | Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Pwe a kotin kawela wanim mata, o a kotin suk pasang kateng mata pan wanim akan. | For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
Me pweipwei kan pan kalokolokki al en ar katiwo o ar sapung kan. | Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
Kaped arail kin suedeki song en manga karos, o re lel ong kailan mela. | Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
Rap weriwer wong Ieowa ni ar apwal akan, i ap kotin dore ir ala sang katoutou parail. | Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
A kotin kadarado sapwilim a masan, o kotin kamaur irail da, o kotin sauasa ir sang nan ar por akan. | He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Ren kapinga Ieowa pweki a kalangan o pweki a dodok mau ong aramas akan. | Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
O ren mairongki mairong en kaping o kasokasoia duen a wiawia kan ki peren! | And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
Me kin mi pon madau o dake sop akan, o me kin netinet pon pil kalaimun akan, | They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
Irail pukat kin kilekilang wiawian Ieowa kan, o a manaman akan nan madau. | These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
A kotin masan eta, melimel ap wiaui, me kin kalaudela iluk kan. | For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
Re kin koda ileile o kodi loledi, likamata kaped arail pei pasan ni ar masak. | They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
Re rarauk sili dueta me sakaular, o ar lolekong karos pan soredi. | They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
Rap weriwer wong Ieowa ni ar apwal akan, i ap kotin dore ir ala sang katoutou parail. | Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
A kotin kawuki ong mole melimel, iluk kan ap moledi. | He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Rap peren kida, ma re pan moledi, o a kotin kalua ir nan kapitau me re inong iong. | Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
Ren kapinga Ieowa, pweki a kalangan, o pweki a dodok manaman ong aramas akan. | Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
O ren kapinga i nan pokon en aramas, o ren kapinga i nan momod en saumas akan. | Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
A kotin kawuki ong sap tan pilap akan, o utun pil akan ong sap madekong. | He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
O sap kaselel eu wiala sap tan en sol, pweki dip en me kaukauson wasa o. | A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
A kotin kawuki ong len pil sap tan, o sap sued ong utun pil. | He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
O a kotin mueid ong me men mangadar akan, en kaukauson wasa o, o re wiadar deu arail. | And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
O re kin wia sapasap o padukedi mat en wain, me kin wa ni a ansau. | And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
O a kotin kamau irail la, rap kin totolar, o a kotin kangederela arail man akan. | He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
O irail malaulaular o namenok kilar me sued, o sapai o luet akan. | Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
A kotin wudokidi ong saupeidi kan namenok, o mueid ong ir, ren sansalong sili nan sap tan, wasa me sota al mia ia. | He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
O a kotin pokada me samama o sang ni a luet, o katotolar kadaudok a dueta pwin akai. | Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
Me melel akan pan kilang, ap peren kida, o sapung kan karos pan kaku pena au arail. | The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
Me lolekong kan pan kasampwale ki mepukat, o re pan dedeki kalangan en Ieowa. | Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.
