| 18 | A pil menda? Pwe Kristus kin lolok sili ni song karos, ma ni akamai de ni melel, i me i peren kida, ei i pan pereperen. | What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. |
| 19 | Pwe i asa, mepukat pan kare ong ia maur soutuk ki omail kapakap o sauas pan Ngen en Iesus Kristus. | For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, |

A duen mas o, iduen ansau wet Kristus en kapingan laud ni war ai, ma ni ai pan memaurata de mela. | According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. |

| 27 | Ari, komail weweid duen me warong rongamau en Kristus, pwe ma i pwaralang komail, de ni ai doo, i en rong, me komail keleki ngen ta ieu, o komail lamalam ta pot, i iang kelail dodok ong rongamau ki poson. | Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; |
