PWE pein komail asa, ri ai kan, duen at pwaralang komail kaidin me so kadepa. | For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain:
A murin at kamekam nan Pilipi o at kalokolok wasa o, duen me komail asa, kit aimaki atail Kot padaki ong komail rongamau en Kot ni apwal laud. | But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
Pwe at panapanaui komail sota wiaui ni kotaue, de samin, de widing. | For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
Pwe duen kit ale sang ren Kot en padaki rongamau, iduen at padak kin wiaui, kaidin pwen konekonlar ren aramas akan, a Kot me kotin kasauiada mongiong it. | But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
Sota eu ansau me se lingkapinga komail, duen me komail asa, de norok kapwa, Kot me saunkadede en mepukat. | For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
Se pil sota rapaki konekon ren aramas akan, ma re omail de ren akai. A se pan kak katoutoui komail, pwe kit wanporon en Kristiis akan. | Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
Ari so, kit kin materok nan pung omail dueta li en kamait amen, me kin apwali na seri kan. | But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
Iduen at ngong kin komail melel, se mauki katungole kin komail rongamau en Kot, a kaidin i eta, a pein maur at, pwe komail wialar kompoke pat. | So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
Ri ai kan, komail kin tamanda duen at dodok o at apwal akan. Pwe se dodok ni ran o ni pong, pwen der katoutoui amen komail, o se padaki ong komail rongamau en Kot. | For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
Komail o Kot at saunkadede duen at makelekel, o pung, o inen re omail me poson akan. | Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
O duen komail asa, me kit panaui o kamekamait amen amen re omail dueta papa men wiai ong na seri kan. | As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
O se padaki ong komail er, me komail en alu inen wei ta, duen me kon ong Kot, me kotin molipe komail ong pein a wei o pein a lingan. | That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
I me se kin poden danke Kot, pwe ni omail aleer masan en Kot, komail aleer kaidin dueta padak en aramas akan, pwe dueta masan en Kot melel, me pil kin dodok nan lol omail me poson akan. | For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Pwe ri ai kan, komail ale sanger momodisou en Kot akan nan Iudäa ren Kristus Iesus; pwe komail kamekame ren toun omail wei, dueta irail me kamekame ren Sus akan. | For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
Me pil kamatalar Kaun Iesus, o saukop akan, me re kaloke, o re sota konekon ren Kot, o re kin palian aramas akan karos. | Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
O re kainapwi sang kit, ender padak ong men liki kan, pwe ren der maurela, pwe re kin kadirela dip arail ansau karos, a ongiong mi po ’rail. | Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
A kit ri ai kan ni at doo wei sang komail ansau kis ni pali war at, a kaidin ni mongiong it, se ap nantiong o inong iong melel kilang mas omail. | But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
I me se men pwar wong komail, ngai Paulus pan mepak o pan riapak, a Satan karompa kit. | Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
Pwe is me kapore pat, de kaperen pat, de kapinga pat? Kaidin komail mon Kaun patail Iesus ni a kotido? | For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
Pwe komail kalinga pat o kaperen pat. | For ye are our glory and joy.
