| 2 | Pwe i asa, me omail inong iong me mau, me i kin suaiki ong men Masetonien, me men Akaia inong iong mepukat sang ni par samalar, a komail kainong iong me toto. | For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many. |
| 3 | I ap ilakiawei ri atail akan, pwe at kaping pa omail ender mal la ni mepukat, pwe komail en onop duen me i inda. | Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready: |
| 4 | Pwe ma men Masetonien kai pan iang ia, ap konodi komail ni omail so onop, kit, se sota men inda komail, ap pan namenok kila ni at liki wet. | Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting. |
| 5 | Ari, i ap lamedar, en poeki ren ri atail akan, ren tiong mo at kolang komail, pwen kaonopada pai wet, me komail inaukidar mas o, pwen pai melel eu, a iermen norok sued. | Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness. |

| 13 | Arail kapwaiada dodok wet kin kalinganada Kot pweki omail upai ong kadede en rongamau en Kristus, o omail sapan kisakis ong irail o ong karos, | Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; |
