1	A kitail asaer duen mairong ong ani mal, pwe kitail karos me lolekong. A lolekong eta kin kaaklapalapiela, a limpok kin kamauiela.	Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2	A ma amen aklapalapaki a lolekong, nan a sota non dedeki duen me itar ong en asa.	And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3	A ma amen pok ong Kot, nan Kot me mangi i.	But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
4	A kitail dedekier duen manga uduk en mairong ong ani mal akan, pwe ani mal amen sota katepa nin sappa, o sota amen Kot, pwe i me ta men.	As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
5	Pwe ma akai mia, me adaneki kot, me kin mimi nanlang de nin sappa, pwe kot toto o monsap toto mia;	For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6	A atail Kot me ta men, me Sam, me dipisou karos tapi sang re a, o me kitail wiaui ong. O atail Kaun me ta men: Iesus Kristus, me wiadar meakaros, o me kitail pil wiaui kidar i.	But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
7	A kaidin karos me asa mepukat, pwe akai mia, me lamelame, me ani mal meakot, ap kangkang uduk en mairong ong ani mal, o iei insen luet arail kin samin kila.	Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8	A kisin manga sota kin sauasa kitail ren Kot. Ma kitail sota pan manga, kitail sota pan sued kila, a ma kitail pan manga, kitail sota pan mau kila.	But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9	A kalaka komail, pwe omail saladokalar ender kadipikelekel ong me luet akan!	But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10	Pwe ma koe, me asa tiak, ap mangamanga nan im en ani mal o, a me luet amen pan kilang om mangamanga, ap aima kida nan insen a, ap iang mangamanga mairong en ani mal akan,	For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11	Iduen ri atail luet amen, me Kristus mata kilar, pan mekila om saladok.	And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12	A ma iduen omail dip iong ri atail akan, me kin kawela insen luet arail, nan komail kin wia dip iong Kristus.	But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
13	Ari ma kisin manga kamakar ri ai, i solar pan manga uduk kokolata, pwe i de kamakar ri ai.	Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
