절Old Public Domain Pohnpeian BibleKing James Version
MA i asa lokaia en aramas akan o tounlang kan, ap sota limpok, nan i rasong ngil en mata mal de ngil en simpel. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
O ma i asa deideikop o ereki me rir akan karos, o tiak kan karos, o ngai dir en poson, me itar ong en kamokid wei nana kan, ap sota limpok nan sota meakot ngai. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
O ma i pan kisakisa wei ai dipisou karos, pwen katungoleki me samama kan, o ma i kida war ai, pwen karongala, ap sota limpok, nan sota katepa ong ia. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Limpok kin kanongama o kadek, limpok sota kin peirin limpok sota kin akmomo o so keses. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
A sota kin aklemai, a sota kin roporop ong pein i, a so serkailong, a sota kin depuk ong en amen a sued. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
A sota kin peren me sapung, a a kin perenki me melel. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
A kin kak pa meakaros, o kin poson karos, a kaporoporeki karos, o lolin ong meakaros. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Limpok sota pan tukedi, a deideikop akan pan tukedi, o lokaia kan pan sola, o lolekong pan kunla. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Pwe kitail me er pali ta, o kokop pali ta. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
A lao kaunsokala, me pali ta pan momela. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
Ni ai seri i kin lokaia dueta seri amen o i lamelame dueta seri amen, o kasaui dueta seri amen, a i lao wiala ol amen, i muei sang tau en seri. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Pwe ansau wet kitail kin irerong nan klas edied eu, a mur a pan sansal mau. Ansau wet i ekis lolekonglar, a mur i pan asa duen a asa ia. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Ari song silu pukat: Poson, kaporopor o limpok pan mimieta, a me lapalap re ’rail limpok. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
