절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	(예언자) 나의 경계 초소에 내가 서겠습니다. 요새에 자리 잡겠습니다. 내다보겠습니다, 하나님이 나에게 무엇을 말씀하실지 알려고, 나의 넋두리에 무엇이라고 응답하실지 알려고.	I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2	여호와의 대답 (예언자) 여호와께서 나에게 대답하셨습니다. (하나님) “너는 본 것을 적어 두어라. 그것도 분명하게 서판에다가! 누구나 거침없이 읽을 수 있도록!	And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3	그 본 것이 아직은 정해진 때를 위한 것이지만, 곧 그 끝이 닥칠 것이고 거짓이 아니기 때문이다. 더디더라도 기다려라. 반드시 올 것이기 때문이다. 늦어지지 않을 것이다.	For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4	보라, 부풀어 있구나, 올곧지 않구나, 그의 마음이 속으로는! 그러나 의인은 자신의 성실함으로 살아남을 것이다.”	Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
5	남은 모든 민족이 너의 것을 빼앗을 것이다 (하나님) “참으로 재물은 미덥지 못하다. 우쭐대는 사람, 그는 목표에 이르지 못할 것이다. 그는 스올(죽은 사람들의 나라)처럼 목구멍을 크게 벌렸다. 그렇지만 그는 죽음 같아서 만족하지 못한다. 모든 민족을 자신에게로 모아들이고, 모든 백성을 자신에게로 끌어모았다.	Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
6	이들이 모두 그를 두고서 비웃는 노래를 부르지 않겠느냐? 암시, 수수께끼를 그에게 맞추어 지어낼 것이다. 그들이 말할 것이다. ‘끝장났구나, 자기 것 아닌 것을 불어나게 하는 사람은! 언제까지 그럴 것인가? 담보물을 스스로 무겁게 지고 있는 사람아!	Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
7	너를 뜯어먹을 채권자들이 난데없이 일어나지 않겠느냐? 너를 향해 짖을 사람들이 깨어나지 않겠느냐? 그래서 네가 그들에게 털리게 될 것이다.	Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
8	네가 많은 민족의 것을 빼앗았으므로, 남은 모든 민족이 너의 것을 빼앗을 것이다. 네가 흘린 다른 사람들의 피 때문이다. 땅과 성읍과 거기 사는 모든 사람들에게 휘두른 폭력 때문이다.	Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
9	끝장났다, 자신의 집을 위해 부당한 이득을 가져가는 사람은! 높은 곳에 자기 보금자리를 두어 재난의 손아귀에서부터 벗어나려는 사람은!	Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
10	너는 너의 집을 위해 창피한 일을 꾸몄다. 많은 백성을 끝장내고 너 자신에게 죄를 지었다.	Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
11	참으로 담장의 돌이 부르짖고, 나무 들보가 응수한다.	For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
12	끝장났다, 남의 피를 쏟아 도시를 건설하는 사람은! 불법으로 성읍을 세우는 사람은!	Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
13	보라, 이것이 전능하신 여호와한테서 나온 것이 아니냐? 민족들이 공들여도 불탈 뿐이고, 나라들이 헛되이 수고한다.	Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
14	땅이 여호와의 영광을 아는 것으로 가득할 것이기 때문이다. 물이 바다를 덮는 것과 같다.	For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
15	끝장났다, 자신의 노여움의 잔을 마시게 하여 이웃을 취하게 한 사람은! 몸의 부끄러운 부분을 훔쳐보려 한 것이다.	Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
16	네가 영광이 아니라 치욕으로 배불렀구나. 너 또한 마셔라. 그러고는 할례받지 않은 아랫몸을 드러내라! 너의 위로 돌아갈 것이다, 여호와의 오른손에 들린 잔이, 큰 치욕이 너의 영광 위로.	Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the Lord’s right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
17	레바논에 휘두른 폭력이 너를 덮을 것이기 때문이다. 짐승들을 학대한 것이 너를 두렵게 할 것이다. 사람의 피 때문이다. 땅과 성읍과 거기 사는 모든 사람에게 휘두른 폭력 때문이다.	For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
18	새겨 만든 우상이 무슨 쓸모가 있느냐? 그 꼴을 빚은 사람이 새겨 만든 것인데! 녹여 만든 우상도 그렇다. 거짓 선생일 뿐이다. 그 꼴을 빚은 사람이 그것을 의지하기 때문이다. 말 못 하는 우상들을 만들어 놓고서!	What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
19	끝장났다, 나무에게 「깨어나세요!」 하고 말하는 사람은! 말 못 하는 돌에게 「일어나세요!」 하고 말하는 사람은! 그런 것이 가르치겠느냐? 보라, 그런 것은 금과 은을 입혀 놓았을 뿐! 어떤 숨결도 그 안에는 없다.’”	Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
20	(예언자) 그러나 여호와께서는 여호와의 성전에 계신다. 온 땅은 여호와 앞에서 조용히 해라!	But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
