절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	하박국이 본 것 무거운 말씀. 하박국 예언자가 본 것.	The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
2	언제까지 불의를 지켜보기만 하십니까 (예언자) 언제까지입니까, 여호와여? 도와 달라고 내가 외쳐도 주님은 들어 주지 않으십니다. 주님께 “폭력입니다!” 하고 내가 소리쳐도 주님은 구해 주지 않으십니다.	O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
3	무슨 까닭으로 주님은 내가 불의를 보게 만드십니까? 불행을 지켜보기만 하십니까? 멸망과 폭행이 나의 앞에 있습니다. 다툼이 생기고 싸움이 일어납니다.	Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
4	이 때문에 가르침이 무력해지고, 정의가 결코 나오지 않습니다. 악인이 의인을 에워싸고 있기 때문입니다. 이 때문에 정의가 뒤틀려서 나옵니다.	Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
5	칼데아 사람들을 일어나게 하실 것이다 (하나님) “너희는 민족들 가운데서 살피고 지켜보아라! 그러고는 놀라워하고 놀라워해라! 내가 너희 시대에 한 가지 일을 할 것이기 때문이다. 이야기해 주어도 너희가 믿지 못할 일이다.	Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
6	보라, 내가 칼데아 사람들을 일어나게 하겠다. 그들은 모질고 성마른 민족이다. 세상을 넓게 돌아다니다가, 자기 것 아닌 곳을 차지하여 머무는 민족이다.	For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
7	그들은 무서움을 느끼게 하고 두려움을 불러일으키는 민족이다. 그들의 정의와 위엄은 자기 자신들에게서 나온다.	They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
8	그 민족의 말은 표범보다 날쌔고 저녁 늑대보다 빠르다. 그들의 기마병이 거침없이 달려간다. 그들의 기마병은 멀리에서 온다. 먹이를 빠르게 덮치는 독수리가 나는 것처럼 달려간다.	Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
9	그 민족은 와서 모두 폭력을 휘두르고, 오로지 앞쪽으로 얼굴을 향한다. 그러고는 사로잡은 사람들을 모래처럼 모아들인다.	They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
10	그 민족이 임금들을 놀려 대고, 높은 사람들이 그들에게 웃음거리가 된다. 그들은 어떤 튼튼한 도시이든 비웃고, 흙을 쌓아 올려 그 도시를 빼앗는다.	And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
11	그때 그 민족은 바람처럼 휩쓸고 간다. 계속 나아가면서 벌받을 짓을 한다. 그들의 힘이 그들의 신이 된다.”	Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
12	그 민족이 다른 민족들을 무자비하게 죽입니다 (예언자) 주님은 옛적부터 계시지 않으셨나요? 여호와 나의 하나님, 나의 거룩하신 하나님! 우리는 죽고 싶지 않습니다. 여호와여, 주님은 심판하시려고 그 민족을 두셨습니다. 바위이신 주님, 주님은 꾸짖으시려고 그 민족을 세우셨습니다.	Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
13	주님은 눈이 깨끗하여 악을 보지 않으십니다. 불행을 지켜보고만 계실 수 없으신 하나님이십니다. 무엇 때문에 주님은 배신자들을 지켜보고만 계십니까? 무엇 때문에 침묵하십니까? 악인이 자기보다 의로운 사람을 삼키고 있는 때인데요.	Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
14	주님은 사람을 바닷물고기처럼, 통솔자 없이 기어다니는 짐승처럼 만드셨습니다.	And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
15	그 민족이 그 모든 사람을 낚시로 잡아 올립니다. 자기 쓰레그물로 끌어가고, 자기 좽이그물로 모아들입니다. 그러고서 즐거워하고 기뻐 뜁니다.	They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
16	이 때문에 그들이 자기 쓰레그물에 희생제물을 바치고, 자기 좽이그물에 향을 피워 바칩니다. 그물들 덕에 자기 몫이 기름지고, 자기 먹을거리가 살지기 때문입니다.	Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.
17	게다가 그들이 이처럼 자기 쓰레그물을 비우고, 계속해서 민족들을 무자비하게 죽여도 괜찮습니까?	Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
