절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	하나님이 유감스럽게 여기시다 땅 위에 사람이 많아지기 시작하고, 그들에게 딸들이 태어났을 때 일어난 일이다.	And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2	하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들을 보았다. 그들이 사랑스러웠다. 그래서 자기들을 위해 자기들이 고른 여자들 가운데서 아내를 맞아들였다.	That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3	여호와께서 말씀하셨다. “나의 영이 사람한테 영원히 머물지는 않을 것이다. 사람은 육신일 뿐이거든. 살날이 고작 120년일 것이다.”	And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4	그 무렵 땅에는 거인들이 있었고, 그 뒤로도 그러했다. 하나님의 아들들이 사람의 딸들에게 들어갔고, 사람의 딸들과 그들 사이에 거인들이 태어났던 것이다. 이들은 옛날부터 이름난 용사였다.	There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5	여호와께서 땅에 사는 사람들이 아주 악한 것을 보셨다. 그들이 마음에 품은 모든 생각과 뜻이 날마다 악하기만 했다.	And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6	여호와께서는 땅에 사람 만든 것을 유감스럽게 여기셨다. 무척 마음이 상하셨다.	And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7	여호와께서 말씀하셨다. “내가 창조했지만 사람을 땅 위에서 쓸어버릴 것이다. 사람뿐만 아니라 집짐승과 기는 짐승과 하늘의 새까지도 그렇게 할 것이다. 유감스럽다, 내가 그것들을 만들었다니!”	And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8	그러나 노아는 여호와의 눈에 들었다.	But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
9	노아가 방주를 만들다 노아의 이야기는 이러하다. 노아는 의로운 사람이었고, 그 시대 사람들 가운데서 그는 흠잡을 데가 없었다. 노아는 하나님과 함께 살아갔다.	These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10	노아는 세 명의 아들을 낳았다. 셈, 함, 야벳이었다.	And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11	하나님 앞에서 세상이 썩어 빠져, 폭력으로 가득 찼다.	The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12	하나님이 세상을 보시니, 아, 썩어 빠져 있는 것이 아닌가! 생명체마다 세상에서 썩어 빠진 길로 갔기 때문이었다.	And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13	하나님이 노아에게 말씀하셨다. “내가 결정한 대로 모든 생명체의 끝이 다가오고 있다. 그들 때문에 땅에 폭력이 가득 찼기 때문이다. 이제 내가 그들을 땅과 함께 모조리 무너뜨릴 것이다.	And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14	너는 고페르나무로 방주를 하나 만들고, 그 방주에 방을 여럿 만들어라. 그러고는 배 안팎에 역청을 발라라.	Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
15	그 방주를 이렇게 만들어라. 길이 150미터, 너비 25미터, 높이 15미터로 하여라.	And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
16	그 방주에 지붕을 만들어라. 지붕은 위로 0.5미터 올려 마무리하여라. 그 방주로 들어가는 문은 옆쪽에 두어라. 배에 아래층과 2층과 3층을 만들어라.	A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17	이제 내가 하늘바다의 물을 땅 위에 쏟아지게 할 것이다. 생명체, 곧 하늘 아래에서 살아 숨 쉬는 것은 무엇이든 무너뜨릴 것이다. 땅에 있는 것은 다 죽을 것이다.	And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
18	그러나 내가 나의 언약을 너와 함께 세우마. 너는 그 방주에 들어갈 수 있다. 너의 아들들과 아내와 며느리들도 너와 함께할 것이다.	But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
19	생물마다, 생명체마다 둘씩 그 방주에 들여 너와 함께 살아남게 하여라. 암컷과 수컷이 있게 하여라!	And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
20	갖가지 새와 갖가지 집짐승과 땅의 기는 갖가지 짐승이 둘씩 너에게로 와서 살아남기를!	Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21	너는 먹을 수 있는 온갖 것 가운데서 얼마를 가져다가 모아 두어라. 그것이 너와 그 짐승들에게 먹을거리가 될 것이다.”	And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
22	노아는 하나님이 명령하신 그대로 했다. 꼭 그대로 했다.	Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
