1	노아의 아들들의 계보 노아의 아들인 셈, 함, 야벳의 계보는 이러하다. 홍수가 난 뒤에 이들에게 아들이 여럿 태어났다.	Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2	야벳의 아들은 고멜, 마곡, 메디아, 야완, 두발, 메섹, 디라스이다.	The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3	고멜의 아들은 아스그나스, 리밧, 도갈마이다.	And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4	야완의 아들은 엘리사, 다르시스, 키프로스, 로도스이다.	And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5	이들에게서 바닷가 여러 민족이 각각 언어에 따라 자기들 땅으로, 종족에 따라 자기들 민족으로 갈라져 나갔다.	By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6	함의 아들은 에티오피아, 이집트, 리비아, 가나안이다.	And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7	에티오피아의 아들은 스바, 하윌라, 삽다, 라아마, 삽드가이다. 라아마의 아들은 세바와 드단이다.	And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
8	에티오피아는 니므롯을 낳았다. 니므롯은 땅에서 처음으로, 힘으로 다스리는 사람이 되었다.	And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9	그는 여호와 앞에서 힘센 사냥꾼이었다. 그래서 ‘니므롯처럼 여호와 앞에서 힘센 사냥꾼’이라는 말이 나돌았다.	He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.
10	니므롯의 나라는 시날 땅의 바빌론, 에렉, 아카드, 갈네에서 시작했다.	And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11	니므롯은 그 땅에서 아시리아로 나아가서 니네베, 르호보딜, 갈라흐를 세웠다.	Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
12	니네베와 갈라흐 사이에 큰 도시 레센도 세웠다.	And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.
13	이집트는 리디아 사람들, 아남 사람들, 르합 사람들, 납두아흐 사람들을 낳았다.	And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14	남부 이집트 사람들, 가슬루아흐 사람들, 크레타 사람들도 낳았다. 가슬루아흐 사람들, 그 사람들로부터 나온 것이 필리스티아 사람들이다.	And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.
15	가나안은 그의 맏아들 시돈과 히타이트를 낳았다.	And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16	여부스 사람, 아모리 사람, 기르가스 사람도 낳았다.	And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17	히위 사람, 아르기 사람, 신 사람도 낳았다.	And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18	아르왓 사람, 스말 사람, 하맛 사람도 낳았다. 그 뒤로 가나안 사람의 종족들이 퍼져 나갔다.	And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
19	가나안 사람들의 경계는 시돈부터 그랄을 지나서 가자까지 이르고, 소돔, 고모라, 아드마, 스보임을 지나서 라사까지 이르렀다.	And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
20	종족과 언어에 따라 자기들의 땅에서 여러 민족으로 나뉘어 살던 함의 자손이 이러했다.	These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
21	셈에게도 자식이 태어났다. 셈은 에벨의 모든 자손의 조상이었고, 야벳의 형제로 큰형이었다.	Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
22	셈의 아들은 엘람, 아시리아, 아르박삿, 리디아, 아람이다.	The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23	아람의 아들은 우스, 훌, 게델, 마스이다.	And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24	아르박삿은 셀라흐를 낳았다. 셀라흐는 에벨을 낳았다.	And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
25	에벨에게는 두 아들이 태어났다. 그 하나의 이름은 벨렉이다. 그때에 땅이 쪼개졌기 때문이었다. 또 그의 형제의 이름은 욕단이다.	And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
26	욕단은 알모닷, 셀렙, 하살마웻, 예라흐를 낳았다.	And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27	욕단은 하도람, 우살, 디글라를 낳았다.	And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28	오발, 아비마엘과 세바도 낳았다.	And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29	오피르, 하윌라, 요밥도 낳았다. 이들이 모두 욕단의 아들이었다.	And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30	이들이 사는 곳은 메사에서 스발에 이르는 동쪽 산간 지대이다.	And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
31	종족과 언어에 따라 자기들의 땅에서 여러 민족으로 나뉘어 살던 셈의 자손은 이러했다.	These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
32	계보에 따라 여러 민족으로 나뉘어 사는 노아 자손의 종족은 이러했다. 홍수가 난 뒤에 이들에게서 여러 민족이 나와서 땅에 퍼져 나갔다.	These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
