절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	소발의 말 나아마 사람 소발이 또 대답하여 말했다.	Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
2	“그러므로 불안하게 생각하다가 내가 대답하기로 했네. 내 속에 아픔이 가득하기 때문이라네.	Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
3	나를 수치스럽게 꾸짖는 말을 듣지만, 내게 깨달음을 주는 영이 내게 대답해 준다네.	I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.
4	그대는 알지 못했는가? 이전부터 내내 이러했던 것을! 그분이 사람을 땅 위에 두신 때부터 말일세.	Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
5	악인들이 기뻐 외치는 소리는 오래가지 않고, 하나님을 멀리하는 사람의 즐거움은 잠깐뿐이라는 것을!	That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?
6	그가 하늘에 닿도록 높아지고, 그의 머리가 구름에 미친다고 하세.	Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;
7	그렇더라도 그는 자신의 똥처럼 영영 망할 것이라네. 그를 본 적 있는 사람들이 ‘그가 어디에 있는가?’ 하고 말할 것이라네.	Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?
8	그는 꿈처럼 날아가 버려 사람들이 그를 찾을 수 없고, 밤에 본 환상처럼 그를 떨쳐 버릴 것이라네.	He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.
9	그를 주의 깊게 보았던 눈이 다시는 그를 볼 수 없고, 그의 자리가 더는 그를 굽어살펴 주지 않을 것이라네.	The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
10	그의 자식들이 가난한 사람들에게 구걸하고, 그는 자기 재산을 제 손으로 도로 내놓을 것이라네.	His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.
11	그의 뼈에 젊음의 힘이 가득하지만, 그 힘도 그와 함께 흙먼지 위에 누울 것이라네.	His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.
12	악이 그의 입에 달콤하다고 하세. 그래서 그가 그 악을 제 혀 밑에 숨겨 둔다고 하세.	Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
13	악을 아까워하여 버리지 않고, 입천장 한가운데 붙들어 두었다고 하세.	Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
14	그렇더라도 그의 음식이 그의 창자에서 달라진다네. 그의 속에서 살무사의 독이 된다네.	Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.
15	그는 재물을 삼켰다가 토해 낸다네. 하나님이 재물을 그의 배에서 빼내신다네.	He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
16	그는 살무사의 독을 빨고, 뱀의 혀에 목숨을 잃는다네.	He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper’s tongue shall slay him.
17	그는 물길을 보지 못할 것이라네. 꿀이 흐르는 강과 요구르트도 보지 못할 것이라네.	He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.
18	수고하여 거둔 것을 도로 내놓아서, 먹어 보지 못한다네. 맞바꾸어 얻은 것이 있어도 써 보지 못한다네.	That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.
19	그는 가난한 사람들을 짓누르고 내팽개쳤기 때문이라네. 자기가 짓지 않은 집을 빼앗았기 때문이라네.	Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
20	그는 자기 뱃속의 편안함을 알지 못하기 때문이라네. 자기 욕심에서 벗어나지 못하기 때문이라네.	Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.
21	그가 집어삼키는 데서 벗어날 사람이 없다네. 그러므로 그의 넉넉한 삶은 오래가지 못한다네.	There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.
22	가득 차 넘쳐흐를 때에도 그에게 어려움이 닥친다네. 고통을 주는 사람의 손길마다 그에게 미친다네.	In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
23	그가 자기 뱃속을 채우려 하면, 하나님이 그에게로 노여움을 터뜨리신다네. 그에게, 그의 몸에 비처럼 쏟아지게 하신다네.	When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
24	그가 쇠 무기를 피해 달아나더라도 놋활을 쏘아 그를 꿰뚫을 것이라네.	He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.
25	등에서 화살을 뽑아낸다 해도, 번뜩이는 촉이 쓸개에서 나올 것이라네. 무서움이 그를 덮칠 것이라네.	It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.
26	어둠이 그가 쌓아 둔 것을 온통 뒤덮고, 부채질하지 않아도 타는 불이 그를 집어삼킬 것이라네. 그의 천막에 남은 사람들에게 재난이 닥칠 것이라네.	All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
27	하늘이 그의 허물을 들추어내고, 땅이 그에게 맞서 일어날 것이라네.	The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.
28	그의 집에서 생산한 것이 거센 물에 쓸려 가 버릴 것이라네, 그분이 분노하시는 날에!	The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.
29	불의한 사람이 하나님께 받을 몫이 이러하다네. 하나님 말씀을 따라 하나님께 받아 차지할 것이라네.”	This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.
