절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	어린양과 봉인된 두루마리 책 그리고 나는 보았습니다. 임금자리에 앉아 계신 분의 오른손에 두루마리 책이 있었습니다. 그 두루마리 책은 안팎으로 내용이 적혀 있었고, 일곱 개의 도장으로 단단히 봉인되어 있었습니다.	And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2	또 나는 보았습니다. 힘 있는 천사가 큰 소리로 선포하고 있었습니다. “누가 이 두루마리 책을 펼치고 봉인을 뗄 자격이 있습니까?”	And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3	그런데 하늘에서나 땅에서나 땅 아래에서나 그 두루마리 책을 펼치고 그것을 볼 수 있는 사람은 아무도 없었습니다.	And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4	그래서 내가 많이 울고 있었습니다. 그 두루마리 책을 펼쳐서 그것을 볼 자격이 있는 사람을 아무도 찾을 수 없었기 때문입니다.	And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5	그런데 원로들 가운데 한 분이 나에게 말합니다. “울지 마세요. 보세요, 유다 지파 출신의 사자이며 다윗에게 뿌리를 두신 분이 이기셨습니다. 그래서 그분이 그 두루마리 책을 펼치고 그것의 일곱 개 봉인을 열 수 있으십니다.”	And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6	또 나는 보았습니다. 임금자리와 네 생명체 사이에, 원로들 가운데 어린양이 하나 서 있었습니다. 끔찍하게 죽임을 당한 것 같았는데, 뿔이 일곱 개이고 눈이 일곱 개였습니다. 그 일곱 개의 눈은 하나님의 일곱 영입니다. 온 땅으로 보내심을 받은 영들이지요.	And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7	어린양이 나아와서, 임금자리에 앉아 계신 분의 오른손에서 그 두루마리 책을 받았습니다.	And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8	어린양이 그 두루마리 책을 받았을 때에, 네 생명체와 24명의 원로들이 어린양 앞에 꿇어 엎드렸습니다. 그들은 저마다 기타와, 금그릇을 가지고 있었습니다. 그 그릇에는 향이 가득 차 있었는데, 그 향은 성도들의 기도입니다.	And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9	그들은 새 노래로 노래했습니다. “주님은 그 두루마리 책을 받을 자격이 있으십니다. 또 그 책의 봉인들을 열 자격도요. 주님이 끔찍하게 죽임을 당하셔서 하나님을 위해 주님의 피로 값 주고 사셨기 때문입니다. 모든 종족과 언어와 백성과 민족에서 난 사람들을.	And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10	주님이 그들을 우리 하나님을 위해 나라와 제사장들로 삼으셨고, 그들은 땅 위에서 임금으로 다스릴 것입니다.”	And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11	또 나는 보았습니다. 임금자리와 생명체들과 원로들을 빙 둘러서 많은 천사들이 있었습니다. 내가 그들의 목소리도 들었습니다. 그들의 수는 수만, 수천이었습니다.	And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12	그들이 큰 소리로 찬양했습니다. “끔찍하게 죽임당하신 어린양은 능력과 부와 지혜와 힘과 존경과 영광과 찬양을 받으심이 마땅하십니다.”	Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
13	나는 또 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래와 바다의 모든 피조물 그리고 그 가운데 있는 모든 것들이 찬양하는 것을 들었습니다. “임금자리에 앉아 계신 분과 어린양께 찬양과 존경과 영광과 권능이 영원 영원히 있기를 빕니다!”	And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
14	그러자 네 생명체가 “아멘!” 하고 응답했습니다. 그리고 원로들도 꿇어 엎드려 절했습니다.	And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
