1	하나님의 임금자리 앞에서 울려 퍼지는 찬양 이런 일들이 있은 뒤에 나는 보았습니다. 보세요, 하늘에 문이 하나 열려 있었습니다. 처음에 들었던 목소리, 나팔 소리같이 쩌렁쩌렁 나에게 말하던 그 목소리가 이렇게 말했습니다. “이리로 올라오너라. 이다음에 반드시 일어날 일들을 내가 너에게 보여 주겠다.”	After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2	곧바로 나는 성령님 안에 사로잡혔습니다. 그런데, 보세요, 임금자리가 하나 하늘에 놓여 있었습니다. 그리고 그 임금자리에 어떤 분이 앉아 계셨습니다.	And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3	거기에 앉아 계신 분은, 뵙기에 벽옥이나 홍옥수하고 비슷했습니다. 또 무지개가 그 임금자리를 빙 두르고 있었는데, 보기에 에메랄드하고 비슷했습니다.	And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4	그 임금자리를 빙 둘러서 24개의 임금자리가 있었습니다. 그 임금자리들 위에는 24명의 원로들이 앉아 있는데, 흰옷을 둘러 입고 있었습니다. 그들의 머리에는 금으로 된 월계관이 있었습니다.	And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5	또 그 임금자리에서 번개들과 소리들과 천둥들이 나오고 있었습니다. 일곱 개의 횃불이 그 임금자리 앞에서 타고 있는데, 그것들은 하나님의 일곱 영입니다.	And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6	그 임금자리 앞에는 유리 바다 같은 것이 있었는데, 크리스털하고 비슷했습니다. 또 그 임금자리 가운데와 그 임금자리 둘레에는 네 생명체가 있었는데, 앞뒤로 눈들이 빼곡했습니다.	And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7	첫 번째 생명체는 사자를 닮았고, 두 번째 생명체는 송아지를 닮았습니다. 세 번째 생명체는 그 얼굴이 사람을 닮았고, 네 번째 생명체는 날아가는 독수리를 닮았습니다.	And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8	네 생명체는 저마다 여섯 개씩 날개를 가지고 있는데, 그 둘레와 안쪽에 눈들이 빼곡했습니다. 그런데 그것들은 낮이나 밤이나 쉬지 않고 찬양을 합니다. “거룩하시다, 거룩하시다, 거룩하시다, 주 하나님, 전능하신 분, 전에도 계셨고 이제도 계시고 오시는 분이!”	And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9	그 생명체들이 영광과 존경과 감사를 임금자리에 앉아 계신, 영원 영원히 살아 계신 분께 올려 드릴 때마다	And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10	24명의 원로들은 임금자리에 앉아 계신 분 앞에 꿇어 엎드렸습니다. 그리고 영원 영원히 살아 계신 분께 엎드려 절했고, 그들이 쓰고 있는 월계관을 임금자리 앞에 벗어 던지며 찬양했습니다.	The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11	“주님, 우리의 하나님! 주님은 영광과 존경과 능력을 받으심이 마땅하십니다. 주님이 친히 모든 것을 창조하셨고, 주님의 뜻이 있어서 만물이 존재했으며 창조되었기 때문입니다.”	Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
