절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	솔로몬이 성전을 짓다 이스라엘 사람들이 이집트 땅에서 나온 지 480년째 되는 해에 일어난 일이다. 솔로몬이 이스라엘의 임금이 된 지 넷째 해의 지브달 곧 둘째 달이었다. 그는 여호와의 집을 짓게 되었다.	And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord.
2	솔로몬 임금이 여호와를 위해 지은 집은 그 길이가 30미터, 그 너비는 10미터였다. 그 높이는 15미터였다.	And the house which king Solomon built for the Lord, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.
3	성전인 집의 앞쪽에 현관이 있었는데, 그 길이는 10미터로 집의 너비에 걸맞았다. 그 너비는 5미터로 집 앞에 이어져 있었다.	And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.
4	그는 집에다 움푹 들어간 창틀을 갖춘 창문들을 만들었다.	And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
5	집의 벽을 돌아가며, 딸린 건물을 벽에 붙여서 지었다. 몸채와 안쪽 방 둘레를 돌아가며 지었다. 그러고서 돌아가며 딸린 방들을 만들었다.	And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
6	딸린 건물의 아래층은 너비가 2.5미터, 중간층은 너비가 3미터, 3층은 너비가 3.5미터였다. 집 바깥을 둘러 가며 턱을 내서 집 벽에 붙지 않게 했던 것이다.	The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
7	집을 지을 때에는 캐내 온 돌을 그대로 써서 지었다. 망치든 도끼든, 어떤 쇠로 만든 연장 소리도 집을 지을 때 집 안에서 들리지 않았다.	And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
8	중간층 딸린 방의 문은 집의 남쪽으로 나 있었다. 나선형 계단을 따라 중간층으로 올라갈 수도 있고, 중간층에서 3층으로 올라갈 수도 있었다.	The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.
9	솔로몬은 집을 짓는 일을 마무리했다. 삼나무(백향목)로 만든 마룻대와 서까래로 지붕을 덮었다.	So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
10	그는 집을 빙 둘러서, 딸린 건물을 2.5미터 높이로 지었다. 딸린 건물은 삼나무(백향목)로 집에 이어 놓았다.	And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
11	여호와께서 솔로몬에게 말씀하셨다.	And the word of the Lord came to Solomon, saying,
12	“네가 짓고 있는 이 집을 두고 말한다. 너는 나의 규정 안에서 걷고 나의 법을 실천하며 나의 모든 명령을 지켜서 그 안에서 걷도록 해라. 그러면 내가 너의 아버지 다윗에게 했던 말을 너에게 이루어 주겠다.	Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
13	나는 이스라엘 사람들 가운데 살 것이다. 나의 백성 이스라엘을 떠나지 않을 것이다.”	And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
14	솔로몬은 집을 지었고, 그 일을 마무리했다. ()	So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
15	성전 안쪽을 꾸미다 솔로몬은 집의 안쪽 벽에 삼나무(백향목) 널빤지를 댔다. 집의 바닥에서 천장까지 안쪽을 나무로 덮었다. 집의 바닥은 전나무 널빤지로 덮었다.	And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
16	집의 가장 안쪽 10미터에 바닥부터 천장까지 삼나무(백향목) 널빤지를 댔다. 그곳 안쪽 공간을 안쪽 방 곧 거룩거룩한곳(지성소)으로 만들었다.	And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
17	그 앞에 20미터 길이의 방이 있는데, 이것이 거룩한곳(성소)이다.	And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.
18	집 안에 있는 삼나무(백향목)에는 호리병박과 활짝 핀 꽃들이 새겨져 있었다. 온통 삼나무(백향목)였고 돌은 보이지 않았다.	And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
19	그는 집 가장 깊숙한 곳에 안쪽 방을 마련했다. 거기에 여호와의 언약상자를 두려는 것이었다.	And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
20	안쪽 방은 길이 10미터, 너비 10미터, 높이 10미터였다. 그는 그 방을 순금으로 입히고, 삼나무(백향목) 제단도 순금으로 입혔다.	And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
21	솔로몬은 집 안을 순금으로 입혔다. 안쪽 방 앞에 금으로 만든 줄을 드리우고 그 방을 금으로 입혔다.	So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
22	그는 그 집을 모두 금으로 입혀서 집에 빈틈이 없도록 했다. 안쪽 방에 딸린 제단도 온통 금으로 입혔다.	And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
23	그는 안쪽 방에다 올리브나무로 두 크룹을 만들었다. 높이는 5미터였다.	And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.
24	한 크룹의 한쪽 날개가 2.5미터였다. 그 크룹의 다른 쪽 날개도 2.5미터였다. 한쪽 날개 끝에서 다른 쪽 날개 끝까지 5미터였다.	And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
25	다른 크룹도 5미터였다. 두 크룹은 크기도 같고 모양도 같았다.	And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.
26	한 크룹의 높이는 5미터였다. 다른 크룹도 같았다.	The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.
27	솔로몬은 크룹들을 집의 깊숙한 곳 가운데 두었다. 크룹들의 날개는 펼쳐져 있게 했다. 한 크룹의 한쪽 날개가 벽에 닿았다. 다른 크룹의 한쪽 날개는 다른 쪽 벽에 닿아 있었다. 그들의 다른 쪽 날개들은 집 가운데서 서로 맞닿아 있었다.	And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
28	그는 크룹들을 금으로 입혔다.	And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
29	그는 집의 벽을 빙 둘러 가며 크룹, 대추야자나무(종려나무), 활짝 핀 꽃을 깎아 꾸며서 새겨 넣었다. 안쪽과 바깥쪽 모두 그렇게 했다.	And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.
30	또 집의 바닥을 금으로 입혔다. 안쪽과 바깥쪽 모두 그렇게 했다.	And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
31	그는 안쪽 방으로 들어가는 곳에 올리브나무로 문을 만들었다. 문기둥 받침과 문기둥은 벽의 5분의 1이었다.	And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.
32	올리브나무로 만든 두 개의 문은 크룹, 대추야자나무(종려나무), 활짝 핀 꽃을 깎아 꾸미고 금을 입혔다. 크룹과 대추야자나무(종려나무)도 금을 펴서 입혔다.	The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
33	또 그와 같이 몸채로 들어가는 곳에 올리브나무로 문기둥을 만들었는데, 벽의 4분의 1이었다.	So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.
34	두 문은 전나무였다. 문 하나는 널빤지 둘로 만들어져 연결 고리가 있었고, 다른 문도 널빤지 둘로 만들어져 연결 고리가 있었다.	And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
35	그는 크룹, 대추야자나무(종려나무), 활짝 핀 꽃을 깎아 꾸미고 금을 입혔다. 깎아 놓은 데다 골고루 입혔다.	And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
36	그는 안뜰을 만들었다. 잘 다듬은 돌을 세 층으로 놓고 삼나무(백향목) 가로목 한 층을 놓았다.	And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.
37	4년째 되던 해에 여호와의 집의 터가 놓였다. 지브달이었다.	In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the Lord laid, in the month Zif:
38	11년째 되던 해 불달 곧 여덟째 달에 집이 마무리되었다. 밑그림 그대로 하나하나 잘 마무리되었다. 그가 그 집을 짓는 데에 7년이 걸린 것이다.	And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
