1	돌아와서 예루살렘에 살게 된 사람들 이렇게 온 이스라엘이 족보에 올라 있었다. 거기, 이스라엘 임금들의 책에 적혀 있는 것이 아닌가! 유다는 바빌론으로 사로잡혀 갔다. 그들이 배신했기 때문이었다.	So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
2	그러다 가장 먼저 자기 도시의 자기 땅에 돌아와 살게 된 사람들이 있었다. 이스라엘 사람과 제사장들, 레위 사람들, 하나님 집의 허드렛일꾼들이었다.	Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
3	예루살렘에 살게 된 사람들은 유다 사람들 얼마와 베냐민 사람들 얼마였다. 에브라임과 므낫세 사람들 얼마도 있었다. 그 이름과 숫자는 이러하다.	And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
4	우대가 있었다. 암미훗의 아들이자 오므리의 손자이자 이므리의 증손자이자 바니의 고손자이다. 유다의 아들 베레스의 자손이다.	Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.
5	실로 사람 중에서는 맏아들 아사야와 그의 아들들이 있었다.	And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6	세라흐 사람들 중에서는 여우엘과 그의 친척 690명이 있었다.	And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7	베냐민 사람들 중에서는 살루가 있었다. 므술람의 아들이자 호다우야의 손자이자 핫스누아의 증손자이다.	And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,
8	여로함의 아들 이브느야도 있었다. 웃시의 아들이자 미그리의 손자인 엘라도 있었다. 므술람도 있었다. 스바댜의 아들이자 르우엘의 손자이자 이브느야의 증손자이다.	And Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephathiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9	그들 세대의 친족 956명도 있었다. 이들 모두 자신들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들이었다.	And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chief of the fathers in the house of their fathers.
10	제사장과 레위 사람들 제사장 가운데에는 여다야, 여호야립, 야긴이 있었다.	And of the priests; Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11	아사랴도 있었다. 힐기야의 아들이자 므술람의 손자이자 사독의 증손자이자 므라욧의 고손자이자 아히둡의 5대손이다. 아히둡은 하나님의 집 관리 책임자였다.	And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12	아다야도 있었다. 여로함의 아들이자 바스훌의 손자이자 말기야의 증손자이다. 마아새도 있었다. 아디엘의 아들이자 야흐세라의 손자이자 므술람의 증손자이자 므실레밋의 고손자이자 임멜의 5대손이다.	And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasiai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13	그들의 친척들도 있었다. 그들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들이었다. 1,760명이었다. 하나님의 집을 섬기는 일에 유능한 사람들이었다.	And their brethren, heads of the house of their fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14	레위 사람 가운데에는 스마야가 있었다. 핫숩의 아들이자 아스리감의 손자이자 하사뱌의 증손자이다. 그는 므라리의 자손이다.	And of the Levites; Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15	또 박박갈, 헤레스, 갈랄, 맛다냐가 있었다. 맛다냐는 미가의 아들이자 시그리의 손자이자 아삽의 증손자이다.	And Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
16	오바댜도 있었다. 스마야의 아들이자 갈랄의 손자이자 여두둔의 증손자이다. 또 베레갸가 있었다. 아사의 아들이자 엘가나의 손자이다. 그는 느도바 사람의 시골 마을들에 살았다.	And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17	문지기들 문지기 가운데에는 살룸, 악굽, 달몬, 아히만이 있었다. 그들의 친척들도 있었다. 살룸이 그 우두머리였다.	And the porters were, Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;
18	지금까지도 동쪽에 있는 임금의 대문에 있다. 이들은 레위 사람들의 진영에 속한 문지기들이었다.	Who hitherto waited in the king’s gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
19	살룸도 있었다. 고레의 아들이자 에비아삽의 손자이자 고라흐의 증손자이다. 그와 그의 아버지 쪽 집안의 친척 곧 고라흐 사람들은 만남의 천막 문지방을 지키는 임무를 맡아 수행하는 사람들이었다. 그들의 조상들도 여호와의 진영에서 그 입구를 지키는 사람들이었다.	And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the Lord, were keepers of the entry.
20	엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 이전에는 그들을 감독하는 책임자였다. 여호와께서 그와 함께 계셨다.	And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the Lord was with him.
21	므셀레먀의 아들 스가랴도 있었다. 만남의 천막 문지기였다.	And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22	이들은 모두 문지방의 문지기로 뽑힌 사람들이었다. 212명이었다. 그들은 자신들의 마을에서 자신들의 족보에 올라 있었다. 그들을 다윗과 사무엘 예견자가 세웠다. 그들은 믿음직했기 때문이었다.	All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.
23	그들과 그 자손은 여호와의 집, 곧 그 천막의 집 문들을 맡아 지켰다.	So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the Lord, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
24	동서남북 네 방향에 이 문지기들이 있었다.	In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25	그들의 시골 마을에 사는 친척들은 때때로 와서 7일 동안 그들과 함께해야 했다.	And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
26	늘 거기서 직무를 수행해야 하는 사람은 네 명의 문지기 대장뿐이었기 때문이다. 그들은 레위 사람들이었다. 그들이 하나님의 집의 방들과 보물 창고들을 맡아 지켰다.	For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27	이들은 하나님의 집 둘레에서 밤을 지냈다. 그 임무와 아침마다 문을 여는 일을 맡았기 때문이었다.	And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
28	또 다른 레위 사람들 그들 가운데서 어떤 사람들은 섬기는 데 사용하는 기구들을 맡았다. 수를 헤아려서 그것들을 들여놓거나 꺼내야 하기 때문이었다.	And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
29	또 그들 가운데서 어떤 사람들은 그 기구들과 모든 거룩한 물건들을 맡았다. 고운 곡식 가루와 포도주와 기름과 유향과 향료를 맡았다.	Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30	제사장의 자녀들 가운데서 어떤 사람들은 향료를 섞어 만드는 일을 했다.	And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
31	맛디댜는 레위 사람들 가운데 하나였다. 그는 고라흐 사람 살룸의 맏아들이다. 믿음직한 사람이었다. 제물로 바칠 납작한 빵을 만드는 일을 맡았다.	And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
32	또 그핫 사람들 가운데서 그들의 친족 중 어떤 사람들은 상에 차릴 거룩한빵(진설병)을 맡았다. 안식일마다 준비해야 했다.	And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33	노래하는 사람들은 이러했다. 레위 사람들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들이었다. 다른 일은 하지 않고 방에 머물렀다. 낮에도 밤에도 해야 할 일을 맡았기 때문이다.	And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.
34	이들은 레위 사람들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들이었다. 그들의 세대별 우두머리들이었다. 이들은 예루살렘에 살았다. ()	These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35	사울의 조상과 자손 기브온에는 기브온의 아버지 여이엘이 살았다. 그의 아내 이름은 마아가이다.	And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife’s name was Maachah:
36	기브온의 아들로는 맏아들이 압돈이다. 수르, 기스, 바알, 넬, 나답,	And his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37	그돌, 아효, 스가랴, 미글롯도 그의 아들이다.	And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38	미글롯은 시맘을 낳았다. 그들 또한 그들의 형제들 맞은편에 있었다. 예루살렘에서 그들의 형제들과 함께 살았다.	And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, over against their brethren.
39	넬이 기스를 낳았고, 기스는 사울을 낳았다. 사울은 요나단, 말기수아, 아비나답, 에스바알을 낳았다.	And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
40	요나단의 아들은 므립바알이고, 므립바알은 미가를 낳았다.	And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal: and Merib–baal begat Micah.
41	미가의 아들들은 비돈, 멜렉, 다흐레아이다.	And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42	아하스는 야라를 낳았고, 야라는 알레멧, 아스마웻, 시므리를 낳았다. 시므리는 모사를 낳았다.	And Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43	모사는 비느아를 낳았다. 르바야가 비느아의 아들이었다. 엘르아사가 손자이다. 아셀이 증손자이다.	And Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44	아셀에게는 여섯 아들이 있었다. 그들의 이름은 이러했다. 아스리감, 보그루, 이스마엘, 스아랴, 오바댜, 하난이다. 이들은 아셀의 아들들이다.	And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.
