1	레위의 자손 중 대제사장들 레위의 아들들은 게르손, 그핫, 므라리이다.	The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
2	그핫의 아들들은 아므람, 이스할, 헤브론, 웃시엘이다.	And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
3	아므람의 자녀는 아론, 모세, 미리암이다. 아론의 아들들은 나답, 아비후, 엘르아살, 이다말이다.	And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4	엘르아살은 비느하스를 낳았다. 비느하스는 아비수아를 낳았다.	Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
5	아비수아는 북기를 낳았고, 북기는 웃시를 낳았다.	And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
6	웃시는 스라히야를 낳았고, 스라히야는 므라욧을 낳았다.	And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,
7	므라욧은 아마랴를 낳았고, 아마랴는 아히둡을 낳았다.	Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
8	아히둡은 사독을 낳았고, 사독은 아히마아스를 낳았다.	And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,
9	아히마아스는 아사랴를 낳았고, 아사랴는 요하난을 낳았다.	And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
10	요하난은 아사랴를 낳았다. 그는 솔로몬이 예루살렘에 세운 그 집에서 제사장 일을 맡아보았다.	And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest’s office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)
11	아사랴는 아마랴를 낳았고, 아마랴는 아히둡을 낳았다.	And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
12	아히둡은 사독을 낳았고, 사독은 살룸을 낳았다.	And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
13	살룸은 힐기야를 낳았고, 힐기야는 아사랴를 낳았다.	And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
14	아사랴는 스라야를 낳았고, 스라야는 여호사닥을 낳았다.	And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
15	여호사닥은 사로잡혀 갔다. 여호와께서 유다와 예루살렘을 사로잡혀 가게 하신 때였다. 네부카드네자르의 손에 넘겨주신 것이다.	And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the Lord carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16	레위의 다른 자손 레위의 아들들은 게르손, 그핫, 므라리이다.	The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17	게르손의 아들들의 이름은 이러하다. 곧 립니와 시므이이다.	And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.
18	그핫의 아들들은 아므람, 이스할, 헤브론, 웃시엘이다.	And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
19	므라리의 아들들은 마흘리와 무시이다. 이들은 그들 조상에 따른 레위 사람의 가문들이다.	The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.
20	게르손의 자손은 이러하다. 립니가 그의 아들이다. 야핫이 손자이다. 심마가 증손자이다.	Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
21	요아흐가 고손자이다. 잇도가 5대손이다. 세라흐가 6대손이다. 여아드래가 7대손이다.	Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.
22	그핫의 자손은 이러하다. 암미나답이 그의 아들이다. 고라흐가 손자이다. 앗실이 증손자이다.	The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
23	엘가나가 고손자이다. 에비아삽이 5대손이다. 앗실이 6대손이다.	Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,
24	다핫이 7대손이다. 우리엘이 8대손이다. 웃시야가 9대손이다. 사울이 10대손이다.	Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.
25	엘가나의 아들들은 아마새와 아히못이다.	And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.
26	엘가나가 손자이다. 소배가 증손자이다. 나핫이 고손자이다.	As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,
27	엘리압이 5대손이다. 여로함이 6대손이다. 엘가나가 7대손이다. 사무엘이 8대손이다.	Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
28	사무엘의 아들들은 요엘이 맏아들이고 아비야가 둘째이다.	And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.
29	므라리의 아들은 마흘리이다. 립니가 손자이다. 시므이가 증손자이다. 웃사가 고손자이다.	The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,
30	시므아가 5대손이다. 학기야가 6대손이다. 아사야가 7대손이다.	Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
31	만남의 천막 앞의 노래꾼들 다윗이 세워 여호와의 집에서 찬송을 맡아보게 된 사람들은 이러하다. 언약상자가 안정을 찾고 나서였다.	And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the Lord, after that the ark had rest.
32	이들은 여호와께서 머무실 천막, 곧 만남의 천막 앞에서 찬송으로 섬겼다. 솔로몬이 여호와의 집을 예루살렘에 지을 때까지였다. 그들은 예법에 따라 임무를 수행했다.	And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.
33	그 임무를 맡아보던 사람들과 그들의 자녀는 이러하다. 그핫 사람의 자손 가운데서는 헤만이 노래하는 사람이었다. 헤만은 요엘의 아들이자 사무엘의 손자이다.	And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,
34	엘가나의 증손자이자 여로함의 고손자이다. 엘리엘의 5대손이자 도아흐의 6대손이다.	The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
35	숩의 7대손이자 엘가나의 8대손이다. 마핫의 9대손이자 아마새의 10대손이다.	The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
36	엘가나의 11대손이자 요엘의 12대손이다. 아사랴의 13대손이자 스바냐의 14대손이다.	The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,
37	다핫의 15대손이자 앗실의 16대손이다. 에비아삽의 17대손이자 고라흐의 18대손이다.	The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,
38	이스할의 19대손이자 그핫의 20대손이다. 레위의 21대손이자 이스라엘의 22대손이다.	The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
39	헤만의 친척인 아삽은 헤만의 오른쪽에서 임무를 맡아보았다. 아삽은 베레갸의 아들이자 시므아의 손자이다.	And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,
40	미카엘의 증손자이자 바아세야의 고손자이자 말기야의 5대손이다.	The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,
41	에드니의 6대손이자 세라흐의 7대손이자 아다야의 8대손이다.	The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,
42	에단의 9대손이자 심마의 10대손이자 시므이의 11대손이다.	The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,
43	야핫의 12대손이자 게르손의 13대손이자 레위의 14대손이다.	The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
44	그들의 형제 므라리의 자손으로 왼쪽에 있었던 사람은 에단이다. 에단은 기시의 아들이자 압디의 손자이자 말룩의 증손자이다.	And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45	하사뱌의 고손자이자 아마샤의 5대손이자 힐기야의 6대손이다.	The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,
46	암시의 7대손이자 바니의 8대손이자 세멜의 9대손이다.	The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,
47	마흘리의 10대손이자 무시의 11대손이자 므라리의 12대손이자 레위의 13대손이다.	The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48	그들의 형제 레위 사람들은 하나님의 집 곧 여호와께서 머무시는 천막의 모든 일을 도맡았다.	Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
49	아론의 자손 아론과 그의 자손들은 다태우는제단(번제단)과 향피우는제단(향단)에서 제물을 태워 연기로 바치면서 거룩거룩한곳(지성소)의 모든 일을 했다. 이것은 하나님의 종 모세가 명령한 모든 것을 따라 이스라엘의 죄를 없애기 위해서다.	But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50	아론의 자손은 이러하다. 엘르아살이 그의 아들이다. 비느하스가 손자이다. 아비수아가 증손자이다.	And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51	북기가 고손자이다. 웃시가 5대손이다. 스라히야가 6대손이다.	Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
52	므라욧이 7대손이다. 아마랴가 8대손이다. 아히둡이 9대손이다.	Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
53	사독이 10대손이다. 아히마아스가 아론의 11대손이다.	Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
54	레위 사람들이 살던 곳 그들이 자리 잡고 살던 곳은 아래와 같은데, 그들의 지역 안에 있는 천막촌별로 나누어져 있었다. 그핫 가문의 아론 자손에게 돌아간 땅은 이러하다. 그들은 제비를 뽑아 몫을 받았다.	Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.
55	그들에게는 유다 땅의 헤브론과 그 둘레에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.
56	그 도시에 붙은 들판과 그 도시에 딸린 시골 마을들은 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 주었다.	But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57	아론 자손에게는 피신도시(도피성)들을 주었다. 헤브론과 립나와 그에 딸린 목초지, 얏딜과 에스드모아와 그에 딸린 목초지였다.	And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
58	힐렌과 그에 딸린 목초지, 드빌과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,
59	아산과 그에 딸린 목초지, 벳세메스와 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth–shemesh with her suburbs:
60	베냐민 지파한테서는 게바와 그에 딸린 목초지, 알레멧과 그에 딸린 목초지, 아나돗과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다. 그들이 가문별로 준 도시는 모두 열세 군데였다.	And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61	나머지 그핫 사람들에게는 므낫세 지파 절반의 가문들한테서 제비뽑기하여 도시 열 군데를 주었다.	And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
62	게르손 사람들에게는 그들의 가문들을 따라 잇사갈 지파와 아셀 지파와 납달리 지파와 바산에 있는 므낫세 지파한테서 도시 열세 군데를 주었다.	And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63	므라리 사람들에게는 그들의 가문들을 따라 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 스불론 지파한테서 제비뽑기하여 도시 열두 군데를 주었다.	Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64	이렇게 이스라엘 사람들은 레위 사람들에게 도시들과 그 도시들에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.
65	유다 사람들의 지파와 시므온 사람들의 지파와 베냐민 사람들의 지파한테서 제비뽑기하여, 그 이름이 불린 이 도시들을 주었다.	And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.
66	그핫 사람들의 몇몇 가문은 그들 지역의 도시들을 에브라임 지파한테서 받았다.	And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67	그들에게 피신도시(도피성)들을 주었다. 에브라임 산지에 있는 세겜과 그에 딸린 목초지, 게셀과 그에 딸린 목초지였다.	And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,
68	욕므암과 그에 딸린 목초지, 벳호론과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth–horon with her suburbs,
69	아얄론과 그에 딸린 목초지, 가드림몬과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath–rimmon with her suburbs:
70	므낫세 지파 절반의 아넬과 그에 딸린 목초지, 발람과 그에 딸린 목초지는 나머지 그핫 자손의 가문들에게 주었다.	And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.
71	게르손 사람들에게는 므낫세 지파 절반의 가문한테서 바산의 골란과 그에 딸린 목초지, 아스다롯과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:
72	잇사갈 지파한테서도 게데스와 그에 딸린 목초지, 다브랏과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,
73	라못과 그에 딸린 목초지, 아넴과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:
74	아셀 지파한테서도 마살과 그에 딸린 목초지, 압돈과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,
75	후곡과 그에 딸린 목초지, 르홉과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:
76	납달리 지파한테서도 갈릴리의 게데스와 그에 딸린 목초지, 함몬과 그에 딸린 목초지, 기랴다임과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.
77	나머지 므라리 사람들에게는 스불론 지파한테서 림몬과 그에 딸린 목초지, 다볼과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:
78	여리고의 요르단강 건너 쪽 곧 요르단강 동쪽에 있는 르우벤 지파한테서도 광야의 베셀과 그에 딸린 목초지, 야하스와 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,
79	그데못과 그에 딸린 목초지, 메바앗과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:
80	갓 지파한테서도 길르앗에 있는 라못과 그에 딸린 목초지, 마하나임과 그에 딸린 목초지를 주었다.	And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
81	헤스본과 그에 딸린 목초지, 야셀과 그에 딸린 목초지도 주었다.	And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
