1	군대 일과 임금을 섬기는 행정을 맡은 사람들 이스라엘 사람들, 곧 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들과 천명대장들과 백명대장들과 임금을 섬기는 행정관들을 쭉 말해 보겠다. 이들은 각 모둠에 관련된 온갖 일을 하려고 일 년 열두 달 달마다 들어오고 나갔다. 한 모둠은 24,000명이었다.	Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2	첫째 달에 일할 첫째 모둠을 맡은 사람은 삽디엘의 아들 야소브암이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3	그는 베레스의 자손으로서 첫째 달을 맡은 모든 군대 지휘관 가운데 우두머리였다.	Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4	둘째 달에 일할 모둠을 맡은 사람은 아호아 사람 도대였다. 그의 모둠에서 미글롯이 지도자였다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5	셋째 달을 맡은 셋째 군대 지휘관은 우두머리 제사장 여호야다의 아들인 브나야였다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6	바로 이 브나야는 30명 용사 가운데 하나로서 그 30명을 맡았다. 그의 모둠은 그의 아들 암미사밧이 맡았다.	This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7	넷째 달을 맡은 넷째 지휘관은 요압의 동생 아사헬이었다. 그의 아들 스바댜가 그를 뒤이었으며 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

10	일곱째 달을 맡은 일곱째 지휘관은 헬레스였다. 블론 사람으로 에브라임 집안의 사람이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
11	여덟째 달을 맡은 여덟째 지휘관은 십브개였다. 후사 사람으로 세라흐 집안이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
12	아홉째 달을 맡은 아홉째 지휘관은 아비에셀이었다. 아나돗 사람으로 베냐민 집안이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
13	열째 달을 맡은 열째 지휘관은 마하래였다. 느도바 사람으로 세라흐 집안이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
14	열한째 달을 맡은 열한째 지휘관은 브나야였다. 비라돈 사람으로 에브라임 집안의 사람이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15	열두째 달을 맡은 열두째 지휘관은 헬대였다. 느도바 사람으로 옷니엘 집안이었다. 그의 모둠에 24,000명이 있었다.	The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
16	이스라엘의 열두 지파를 맡은 사람들 이스라엘의 지파들을 맡은 사람들은 이러하다. 르우벤 사람들의 우두머리는 시그리의 아들 엘리에셀이다. 시므온 사람들의 우두머리는 마아가의 아들 스바댜이다.	Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17	레위 지파의 우두머리는 그무엘의 아들 하사뱌이다. 아론 집안의 우두머리는 사독이다.	Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18	유다 지파의 우두머리는 다윗의 형제 엘리후이다. 잇사갈 지파의 우두머리는 미카엘의 아들 오므리이다.	Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19	스불론 지파의 우두머리는 오바댜의 아들 이스마야이다. 납달리 지파의 우두머리는 아스리엘의 아들 여리못이다.	Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20	에브라임 사람들의 우두머리는 아사샤의 아들 호세아이다. 므낫세 반쪽 지파의 우두머리는 브다야의 아들 요엘이다.	Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21	길르앗에 있는 므낫세 반쪽 지파의 우두머리는 스가랴의 아들 잇도이다. 베냐민 지파의 우두머리는 아브넬의 아들 야아시엘이다.	Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22	단 지파의 우두머리는 여로함의 아들 아사렐이다. 이들이 이스라엘 지파들의 대장들이었다.	Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23	다윗은 20세 아래로는 셈하지 않았다. 여호와께서 이스라엘을 하늘의 별처럼 많게 해 주겠다고 말씀하셨기 때문이다.	But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the Lord had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24	스루야의 아들 요압이 셈을 시작했지만 끝마치지 못했다. 그런데 이 일 때문에 이스라엘에 노여움이 닥쳤다. 그래서 그 수는 다윗 임금의 역사일지 기록에 오르지 못했다.	Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25	나라의 창고를 맡은 사람들 임금의 창고는 아디엘의 아들 아스마웻이 맡았다. 들판과 도시와 마을과 망대에 있는 창고는 웃시야의 아들 요나단이 맡았다.	And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26	흙을 파며 들일을 하는 사람들은 글룹의 아들 에스리가 맡았다.	And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27	포도밭은 라마 사람 시므이가 맡았다. 포도밭에 있는 포도주 창고는 스밤 사람 삽디가 맡았다.	And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28	세펠라에 있는 올리브나무와 돌무화과나무는 게델 사람 바알하난이 맡았다. 기름 창고는 요아스가 맡았다.	And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal–hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29	샤론에서 풀을 뜯는 소들은 샤론 사람 시드래가 맡았다. 골짜기에 있는 소들은 아들래의 아들 사밧이 맡았다.	And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30	낙타는 이스마엘 사람 오빌이 맡았다. 나귀는 메로놋 사람 예흐드야가 맡았다.	Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31	양 떼는 하갈 사람 야시스가 맡았다. 이들 모두는 다윗 임금에게 있던 재산을 맡은 관리들이었다.	And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
32	다윗 곁에서 섬기는 사람들 다윗의 삼촌 요나단은 참모였다. 그는 생각이 깊은 사람으로 서기관이었다. 학모니의 아들 여히엘은 임금의 아들들을 돌보았다.	Also Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
33	아히도벨은 임금의 참모였고 아렉 사람 후새는 임금의 친구였다.	And Ahithophel was the king’s counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion:
34	아히도벨 다음에는 브나야의 아들 여호야다 그리고 아비아달이 있었다. 임금이 거느린 군대의 사령관은 요압이었다.	And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king’s army was Joab.
