1	문지기 모둠들 문지기들의 모둠은 이러하다. 고라흐 사람들 가운데 아삽 사람 고레의 아들 므셀레먀가 있었다.	Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2	므셀레먀에게 딸린 아들들로는 맏이 스가랴, 둘째 여디아엘, 셋째 스바댜, 넷째 야드니엘,	And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3	다섯째 엘람, 여섯째 여호하난, 일곱째 엘여호에내가 있었다.	Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4	오베데돔에게 아들들이 있었다. 맏이 스마야, 둘째 여호사밧, 셋째 요아흐, 넷째 사갈, 다섯째 느다넬,	Moreover the sons of Obed–edom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
5	여섯째 암미엘, 일곱째 잇사갈, 여덟째 브울르대가 있었다. 하나님이 오베데돔에게 복을 내리셨던 것이다.	Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6	그의 아들 스마야에게도 아들들이 태어났는데 그들의 아버지 집안을 다스리는 사람들이었다. 그들은 용맹스러운 사람들이었기 때문이다.	Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
7	스마야의 아들들은 오드니, 르바엘, 오벳, 엘사밧이다. 엘사밧의 형제들은 용맹스러운 사람들로 엘리후와 스마갸이다.	The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8	이들은 모두 오베데돔의 자손이다. 그들과 그들의 아들들과 그들의 형제들은 용사들로서 열심히 일했다. 오베데돔에게 딸린 사람은 62명이었다.	All these of the sons of Obed–edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obed–edom.
9	므셀레먀에게도 딸린 아들들과 형제들로는 용맹스러운 사람들 18명이 있었다.	And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10	므라리의 자손인 호사에게 딸린 자손들로는 시므리가 우두머리였다. 그가 맏아들은 아니었지만 그의 아버지가 그를 우두머리로 세웠다.	Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
11	둘째 힐기야, 셋째 드발랴, 넷째 스가랴가 있었다. 호사에게 딸린 아들들과 형제들은 모두 13명이었다.	Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12	이 문지기 모둠들은 남자들의 우두머리들을 따랐다. 이들은 자기 형제들과 똑같이 지키는 일을 맡아 여호와의 집에서 섬겼다.	Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the Lord.
13	그들의 아버지 쪽 집안에 따라 크든 작든 가리지 않고 제비를 뽑아서 문 하나씩을 맡겼다.	And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14	셀레먀가 제비를 뽑았는데 동쪽이 나왔다. 그의 아들 스가랴는 이해력 있는 참모였다. 그가 제비를 뽑았는데 북쪽이 나왔다.	And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15	오베데돔에게는 남쪽이, 그의 아들들에게는 창고가 뽑혔다.	To Obed–edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16	숩빔과 호사에게는 서쪽이 뽑혔다. 오르막 큰길에 있는 살레겟문 곁이었다. 서로 나란히 지켰다.	To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
17	동쪽에는 레위 사람 여섯 명이 있었다. 북쪽에는 날마다 네 사람, 남쪽에는 날마다 네 사람, 창고에는 두 사람씩 두 모둠이 있었다.	Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18	서쪽 주랑에는 큰길에 네 사람, 주랑 자체에 두 사람이 있었다.	At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19	이들이 문지기들의 모둠이다. 고라흐 사람들과 므라리 사람들이었다.	These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
20	성전 창고를 지키는 사람들 레위 사람들 가운데 아히야는 하나님의 집의 보물 창고와 거룩한 물건들의 창고를 맡았다.	And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21	라단의 자손은 라단 아래에 있는 게르손 사람의 자손이다. 라단 아래에 있는 가문의 우두머리는 게르손 사람 여히엘리다.	As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
22	여히엘리의 아들들 곧 세담과 요엘 형제는 여호와의 집의 보물 창고를 맡았다.	The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the Lord.
23	아므람 사람, 이스할 사람, 헤브론 사람, 웃시엘 사람에 관해 말해 보자.	Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:
24	그들 가운데 스부엘 곧 모세의 아들인 게르솜의 자손은 보물 창고를 맡은 왕궁 관리였다.	And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.
25	그의 형제 엘리에셀 쪽으로는 그의 아들 르하뱌, 그의 아들 이사야, 그의 아들 요람, 그의 아들 시그리, 그의 아들 슬로못이 있었다.	And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26	이 사람 슬로못과 그의 형제들은 거룩한 물건들을 모아 둔 모든 창고를 맡았다. 그 거룩한 물건들은 다윗 임금, 가문의 우두머리들, 천명대장들이나 백명대장들, 군대의 대장들이 구별하여 바친 것이었다.	Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27	그들은 싸움에서 빼앗은 물건들 가운데서 구별하여 바친 것을 가지고 여호와의 집을 돌보았다.	Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the Lord.
28	또 사무엘 예견자, 기스의 아들 사울, 넬의 아들 아브넬, 스루야의 아들 요압이 구별하여 바친 것들이 있다. 그들이 구별하여 바친 것은 무엇이든지 슬로못과 그의 형제들이 모두 도맡았다.	And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29	그 밖의 일을 맡은 사람들 이스할 사람 가운데 그나냐와 그의 아들들은 이스라엘과 관련한 바깥 일을 맡아 행정관과 재판관으로 일했다.	Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30	헤브론 사람 가운데 하사뱌와 그의 친족은 1,700명의 용맹스러운 사람들이었다. 요르단강 서쪽에서 이스라엘을 보살피며 여호와의 모든 일과 임금을 섬기는 일을 했다.	And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the Lord, and in the service of the king.
31	헤브론 사람 가운데 여리야가 아버지 쪽 집안 족보에서 헤브론 사람의 우두머리였다. 다윗이 다스린 지 40년째 되는 해에 용맹스러운 사람들을 찾다가 그들 가운데서 찾아냈다. 길르앗에 있는 야셀에서였다.	Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
32	그의 친족은 2,700명의 용맹스러운 사람들로 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리였다. 다윗 임금이 그들에게 르우벤 사람, 갓 사람, 므낫세 지파의 절반을 맡겨 하나님의 모든 일과 임금의 일을 하게 했다.	And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
