1	제사장 일을 하는 사람들 아론의 자손으로는 여러 모둠이 있었다. 아론의 아들은 나답, 아비후, 엘르아살, 이다말이다.	Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2	나답과 아비후는 그들의 아버지보다 앞서 죽었는데, 그들에게는 아들이 없었다. 그래서 엘르아살과 이다말이 제사장으로 일했다.	But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3	다윗이 엘르아살의 자손 가운데서는 사독을, 이다말의 자손 가운데서는 아히멜렉을 데리고서 제사장들을 여러 모둠으로 나누었다. 맡은 일에 따라 할 일에 맞추어 나누었다.	And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
4	남자들의 머릿수로는 엘르아살의 자손이 이다말의 자손보다 더 많은 것으로 드러났다. 거기에 맞추어 모둠으로 나누었다. 엘르아살 사람들은 아버지 쪽 집안을 따른 우두머리가 16명 있었고, 이다말 사람들은 그들의 아버지 쪽 집안을 따른 우두머리가 8명 있었다.	And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5	이들이 저들과 함께 제비뽑기로 여러 모둠으로 나누었다. 그들은 엘르아살의 자손 가운데서, 또 이다말의 자손 중에서 거룩한곳(성소)의 고위 관리이고 하나님의 고위 관리였기 때문이다.	Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6	느다넬의 아들 스마야 서기관, 곧 레위 사람들 가운데 하나가 그들의 이름을 임금 앞에서 기록했다. 고위 관리들, 사독 제사장, 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉, 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들도 거기 있었다. 엘르아살의 아버지 쪽 집안 가운데 한 집안이 제비에 뽑히고 나서 한 집안이 더 뽑혔고, 이다말 쪽의 한 집안이 뽑혔다.	And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7	첫째 제비가 뽑힌 것은 여호야립이었다. 여다야가 둘째로,	Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8	하림이 셋째로, 스오림이 넷째로,	The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9	말기야가 다섯째로, 미야민이 여섯째로,	The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10	학고스가 일곱째로, 아비야가 여덟째로,	The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11	예수아가 아홉째로, 스가냐가 열째로,	The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12	엘리아십이 열한째로, 야김이 열두째로,	The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13	훕바가 열셋째로, 예세브압이 열넷째로,	The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14	빌가가 열다섯째로, 임멜이 열여섯째로,	The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15	헤실이 열일곱째로, 합빗세스가 열여덟째로,	The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16	브다히야가 열아홉째로, 에스겔이 스무째로,	The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
17	야긴이 스물한째로, 가물이 스물두째로,	The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18	들라야가 스물셋째로, 마아샤가 스물넷째로 뽑혔다.	The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19	그들이 하나님의 집에 들어가서 할 일을 하기 위해 나눈 모둠이 이러했다. 조상 아론을 통해 전해 받은 법령을 따른 것이었다. 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 명령하신 대로였다.	These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
20	나머지 레위 사람들 나머지 레위 사람들로는 아므람의 자손 가운데서는 수바엘이 있다. 수바엘의 자손 가운데서는 예흐드야가 있다.	And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
21	르하뱌에게는 르하뱌의 아들들 가운데 우두머리인 잇시야가 있다.	Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.
22	이스할에게는 슬로못이 있다. 슬로못의 아들들 가운데서는 야핫이 있다.	Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
23	여리야의 아들들도 있다. 아마랴가 둘째, 야하시엘이 셋째, 여가므암이 넷째이다.	And the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24	웃시엘의 자손으로는 미가가 있다. 미가의 아들 가운데서는 사밀이 있다.	Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
25	미가의 형제인 잇시야도 있다. 잇시야의 아들 가운데서는 스가랴가 있다.	The brother of Michah was Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
26	므라리의 아들로는 마흘리와 무시가 있다. 그의 아들 야아시야의 아들들도 있다.	The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27	므라리의 자손이자 그의 아들 야아시야의 아들들로는 소함과 삭굴과 이브리가 있다.	The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28	마흘리에게는 엘르아살이 있는데 그에게는 아들이 없다.	Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
29	기스에게는 기스의 자손 가운데 하나인 여라흐므엘이 있다.	Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.
30	무시의 아들로는 마흘리와 에델과 여리못이 있다. 이들이 레위 사람들의 아버지 쪽 집안별 자손이다.	The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
31	그들 또한 그들의 친족인 아론 사람들과 아주 똑같은 방식으로 다윗 임금 앞에서 제비를 뽑았다. 사독, 아히멜렉, 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들도 거기 있었다. 맏이 집안도 친족 가운데 막내 집안과 아주 똑같이 제비를 뽑았다.	These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
