1	하나님의 상자를 다시 모실 준비를 하다 다윗이 자신을 위해 다윗의 도시에 집들을 만들었다. 하나님의 상자(궤)를 위한 장소도 마련하고는 그 상자(궤)를 위해 천막을 쳤다.	And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
2	그러고 나서 다윗이 이렇게 말했다. “하나님의 상자(궤)를 모시고 움직이는 일은 아무나 하지 말고 레위 사람만 하도록 하세요. 그들을 여호와께서 골라 뽑으셨으니까요. 여호와의 상자(궤)를 모시고 움직이며 여호와를 섬기게 하셨습니다, 영원에 이르도록!”	Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the Lord chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.
3	다윗은 온 이스라엘을 예루살렘으로 불러 모았다. 여호와의 상자(궤)를 제자리, 그 상자(궤)를 위해 마련해 둔 곳으로 모셔 올리려는 것이었다.	And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord unto his place, which he had prepared for it.
4	다윗이 아론의 자손과 레위 사람들을 모았다.	And David assembled the children of Aaron, and the Levites:
5	그핫 사람들로는 우리엘 지휘관과 그의 친족 120명을 모았다.	Of the sons of Kohath; Uriel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twenty:
6	므라리 사람들로는 아사야 지휘관과 그의 친족 220명을 모았다.	Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty:
7	게르손 사람들로는 요엘 지휘관과 그의 친족 130명을 모았다.	Of the sons of Gershom; Joel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and thirty:
8	엘리사반 사람들로는 스마야 지휘관과 그의 친족 200명을 모았다.	Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred:
9	헤브론 사람들로는 엘리엘 지휘관과 그의 친족 80명을 모았다.	Of the sons of Hebron; Eliel the chief, and his brethren fourscore:
10	웃시엘 사람들로는 암미나답 지휘관과 그의 친족 112명을 모았다.	Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve.
11	다윗은 사독과 아비아달 곧 제사장들을 불렀다. 레위 사람들인 우리엘, 아사야, 요엘, 스마야, 엘리엘, 암미나답도 불렀다.	And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,
12	그러고는 그들에게 말했다. “여러분은 레위 사람들의 아버지 쪽 집안의 우두머리들입니다. 여러분과 여러분의 친족들은 스스로를 거룩하게 하세요. 그러고는 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 상자(궤)를 위해 마련해 둔 곳으로 그 상자(궤)를 모셔 올리도록 하세요.	And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.
13	지난번에 모셔 올린 사람들이 여러분이 아니었으니까요. 그래서 여호와 우리 하나님이 우리를 잡아 찢으셨지요. 우리가 올바르게 그분을 찾지 않았기 때문이었어요.”	For because ye did it not at the first, the Lord our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.
14	그래서 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 스스로를 거룩하게 했다. 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 상자(궤)를 모셔 올리기 위해서였다.	So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel.
15	레위 사람들의 자손이 하나님의 상자(궤)를 멨다. 모세가 여호와의 말씀에 따라 명령한 대로 긴 막대기를 이용하여 어깨에 멘 것이다.	And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the Lord.
16	다윗이 레위 사람들의 지휘관들에게 말하여 그 친족들을 노래하는 사람들로 세우게 했다. 악기들 곧 하프, 기타, 심벌즈로 소리 내어 연주하면서 즐겁게 목소리를 높이게 했다.	And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
17	레위 사람들은 요엘의 아들 헤만과 또 그의 친족 가운데서 베레갸의 아들 아삽을 세웠다. 그들의 친족인 므라리 사람들 가운데서는 구사야의 아들 에단을 세웠다.	So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
18	이들과 함께 그다음 차례의 친족들도 있었다. 스가랴, 벤, 야아시엘, 스미라못, 여히엘, 운니, 엘리압, 브나야, 마아세야, 맛디댜, 엘리블레후, 믹네야, 오베데돔, 여이엘이었다. 그들은 문지기들이었다.	And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed–edom, and Jeiel, the porters.
19	노래하는 사람들인 헤만, 아삽, 에단은 놋심벌즈에 맞추어 노래했다.	So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;
20	스가랴, 아시엘, 스미라못, 여히엘, 운니, 엘리압, 마아세야, 브나야는 하프에 맞추어 알라못 가락을 불렀다.	And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;
21	맛디댜, 엘리블레후, 믹네야, 오베데돔, 여이엘, 아사샤는 기타 8번째 줄 반주로 찬양을 인도했다.	And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed–edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.
22	그나냐는 하나님의 상자(궤)를 모시고 움직이는 레위 사람들의 지휘관이었다. 그것을 모시고 움직이는 일을 감독했다. 그가 전문가였기 때문이다.	And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.
23	베레갸와 엘가나는 그 상자(궤)를 지키는 문지기들이었다.	And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
24	스바냐, 요사밧, 느다넬, 아마새, 스가랴, 브나야, 엘리에셀은 제사장들로서 하나님의 상자(궤) 앞에서 트럼펫을 불었다. 오베데돔과 여히야도 그 상자(궤)를 지키는 문지*기였다. ()	And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed–edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
25	여호와의 언약상자를 다윗의 도시로 모셔 오다 다윗과 이스라엘의 원로들과 천명대장들이 오베데돔의 집에서 여호와의 언약상자를 모셔 올리려고 간 사람들이다. 그들이 기뻐하면서 갔다.	So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the house of Obed–edom with joy.
26	하나님이 여호와의 언약상자를 모셔 옮기는 레위 사람들을 도우셨다. 그래서 그들은 일곱 마리의 수송아지와 일곱 마리의 숫양을 희생제물로 잡아 바쳤다.	And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.
27	다윗은 고급 리넨 겉옷으로 몸을 감싸고 있었다. 그 상자(궤)를 모셔 옮기는 모든 레위 사람들과 노래하는 사람들도 그러했다. 그 상자(궤)를 모셔 옮기는, 노래하는 사람들의 대장 그나냐도 그러했다. 다윗은 허리에 리넨 에봇도 두르고 있었다.	And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.
28	온 이스라엘이 여호와의 언약상자를 모셔 올리고 있었다. 기뻐 외치는 소리와 뿔나팔 소리가 울려 퍼졌다. 트럼펫, 심벌즈, 하프, 기타 소리도 울려 퍼졌다.	Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.
29	여호와의 언약상자가 들어와서 다윗의 도시에까지 이르렀다. 그때 사울의 딸 미갈이 창으로 내려다보았다. 다윗 임금이 보였다. 껑충껑충 춤추며 뛰놀고 있었다. 미갈은 마음속으로 그를 얕잡아 보았다.	And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
