1	유다 지파가 받은 땅의 경계 유다 지파 사람들이 가문을 따라 제비 뽑아 나누어 받은 땅은 에돔과 경계를 이룬다. 친 광야가 남쪽 끝이다.	This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
2	그들의 남쪽 경계는 소금바다(사해) 끝 남쪽으로 혀처럼 내민 데서부터이다.	And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
3	아그랍빔 오르막 남쪽으로 나아가서 친을 지나 가데스바르네아 남쪽으로 올라간다. 거기에서 헤스론을 지나 앗달로 올라가서 가르가에서 돌아선다.	And it went out to the south side to Maaleh–acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh–barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
4	거기에서 아스몬을 지나 이집트 마른시내로 나가서 그 경계의 끝이 바다에 이를 것이다. 그들의 남쪽 경계가 이러할 것이다.	From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
5	동쪽 경계는 소금바다(사해)로서 요르단강 끝까지 이른다. 북쪽 방면 경계는 요르단강 끝에서, 소금바다(사해)가 혀처럼 내민 데서부터이다.	And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
6	그 경계는 벳호글라로 올라가서 베다라바 북쪽에서 건너가 보한의 돌로 올라간다. 보한은 르우벤의 아들이다.	And the border went up to Beth–hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth–arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
7	그 경계는 아골 골짜기에서 드빌로 올라가서 북쪽으로 돌아 길갈로 나아간다. 그 마른시내 남쪽에 있는 아둠밈 오르막 맞은편에 있는 곳이다. 또 그 경계는 엔세메스 물로 건너가서 그 끝이 엔로겔에 이른다.	And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of En–shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En–rogel:
8	그 경계는 남쪽으로 여부스 사람들의 비탈 곧 예루살렘을 따라서 벤힌놈 골짜기로 올라간다. 그 경계는 산꼭대기까지 올라간다. 벤힌놈 골짜기 서쪽으로 맞은편에 있고, 라바 사람들의 골짜기 북쪽으로 끝에 있는 꼭대기이다.	And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
9	그 경계는 산꼭대기에서 꺾어져서 넵도아흐의 물이 솟는 샘에 이르러, 에브론산의 여러 도시로 나아간다. 그 경계는 바알라 곧 기럇여아림으로 꺾어진다.	And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjath–jearim:
10	그 경계는 바알라에서 서쪽으로 세일산을 돌아간다. 북쪽으로는 여아림산 곧 그살론의 비탈로 건너가, 벳세메스로 내려가다가 딤나로 건너간다.	And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth–shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
11	그 경계는 북쪽으로 에그론 비탈로 빠져나가 식그론으로 꺾어지다가, 바알라산으로 건너가서 얍느엘로 빠져나간다. 그 경계의 끝이 바다에 이를 것이다.	And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
12	서쪽 경계는 큰 바다인 지중해 해안선이다. 유다 사람들이 가문을 따라 사방으로 받은 땅의 경계가 이러했다. ()	And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
13	갈렙이 헤브론과 기럇세벨을 빼앗다 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게는 여호수아가 여호와의 명령대로 유다 사람들 가운데서 한 몫을 주었다. 아낙의 아버지 아르바의 도시인 기랴다르바 곧 헤브론이었다.	And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
14	갈렙이 아낙의 세 아들인 세새와 아히만과 달매를 거기에서부터 몰아냈다. 이들은 아낙 사람들이었다.	And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15	거기서부터 갈렙이 드빌에 살고 있던 사람들에게로 올라갔다. 드빌의 이전 이름은 기럇세벨이었다.	And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath–sepher.
16	갈렙이 말했다. “기럇세벨을 무찔러 빼앗는 사람에게는 내 딸 악사를 주어 아내로 삼게 하겠소.”	And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath–sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
17	그나스의 아들 옷니엘이 기럇세벨을 빼앗았다. 그나스는 갈렙의 형제였다. 그래서 갈렙은 옷니엘에게 자신의 딸 악사를 주어 아내로 삼게 했다.	And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
18	악사가 옷니엘에게 갈 때, 옷니엘이 그를 부추겨 자기 아버지에게 밭을 달라고 하게 했다. 악사가 나귀에서 내리자, 갈렙이 악사에게 “무슨 일이냐?” 하고 물었다.	And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
19	악사가 대답했다. “저에게 축복의 선물을 주세요. 네게브 땅을 제게 주셨으니, 물이 솟는 샘들도 주세요.” 갈렙이 악사에게 위쪽 샘들과 아래쪽 샘들을 주었다.	Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
20	유다 지파가 나누어 받은 땅 유다 지파 사람들이 가문을 따라 나누어 받은 땅은 이러하다.	This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
21	유다 지파 사람들이 에돔과 경계가 맞닿은 남쪽 가장자리에 차지한 도시로는 갑스엘, 에델, 야굴이 있었다.	And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
22	기나, 디모나, 아다다도 있었다.	And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
23	게데스, 하솔, 잇난도 있었다.	And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24	시프, 델렘, 브알롯도 있었다.	Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
25	하솔하닷다와 그리욧헤스론 곧 하솔도 있었다.	And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
26	아맘, 스마, 몰라다도 있었다.	Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
27	하살갓다, 헤스몬, 벳벨렛도 있었다.	And Hazar–gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth–palet,
28	하살수알, 브엘세바, 비스요댜도 있었다.	And Hazar–shual, and Beer–sheba, and Bizjothjah,
29	바알라, 이임, 에셈도 있었다.	Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
30	엘돌랏, 그실, 호르마도 있었다.	And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
31	시글락, 맛만나, 산산나도 있었다.	And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32	르바옷, 실힘, 아인, 림몬도 있었다. 도시가 모두 스물아홉 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
33	세펠라에 있는 도시로는 에스다올, 소라, 아스나가 있었다.	And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
34	사노아흐, 엔간님, 답부아흐, 에남도 있었다.	And Zanoah, and En–gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
35	야르뭇, 아둘람, 소고, 아세가도 있었다.	Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
36	사아라임, 아디다임, 그데라, 그데로다임도 있었다. 도시가 열네 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
37	스난, 하다사, 믹달갓도 있었다.	Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal–gad,
38	딜르안, 미스베, 욕드엘도 있었다.	And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
39	라기스, 보스갓, 에글론도 있었다.	Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40	갑본, 라흐마스, 기들리스도 있었다.	And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
41	그데롯, 벳다곤, 나아마, 막게다도 있었다. 도시가 열여섯 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Gederoth, Beth–dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
42	립나, 에델, 아산도 있었다.	Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
43	입다, 아스나, 느십도 있었다.	And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44	그일라, 악십, 마레사도 있었다. 도시가 아홉 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
45	에그론과 그에 딸린 마을들과 그 둘레의 시골 마을들도 있었다.	Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
46	에그론에서부터 지중해에 이르기까지 있었다. 아스돗 곁에 있는 모든 도시와 각 도시 둘레의 시골 마을들도 있었다.	From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
47	아스돗과 그에 딸린 마을들과 그 둘레의 시골 마을들, 가자와 그에 딸린 마을들과 그 둘레의 시골 마을들이 이집트 마른시내에 이르기까지 있었고, 큰 바다인 지중해가 경계였다.	Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
48	산지에 있는 도시로는 사밀, 얏딜, 소고가 있었다.	And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
49	단나와 기럇산나 곧 드빌도 있었다.	And Dannah, and Kirjath–sannah, which is Debir,
50	아납, 에스드모, 아님도 있었다.	And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
51	고센, 홀론, 길로도 있었다. 도시가 열한 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
52	아랍, 두마, 에산도 있었다.	Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
53	야눔, 벳답부아흐, 아베가도 있었다.	And Janum, and Beth–tappuah, and Aphekah,
54	훔다, 기랴다르바 곧 헤브론, 시올도 있었다. 도시가 아홉 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Humtah, and Kirjath–arba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
55	마온, 갈멜, 시프, 윳다도 있었다.	Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
56	이스르엘, 욕드암, 사노아흐도 있었다.	And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
57	가인, 기브아, 딤나도 있었다. 도시가 열 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
58	할훌, 벳술, 그돌도 있었다.	Halhul, Beth–zur, and Gedor,
59	마아랏, 베다놋, 엘드곤도 있었다. 도시가 여섯 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Maarath, and Beth–anoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
60	기럇바알 곧 기럇여아림과 랍바도 있었다. 도시가 두 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	Kirjath–baal, which is Kirjath–jearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
61	광야에 있는 도시로는 베다라바, 밋딘, 스가가가 있었다.	In the wilderness, Beth–arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62	닙산, 이르멜라흐, 엔게디도 있었다. 도시가 여섯 군데였는데, 도시마다 그 둘레에 시골 마을들이 있었다.	And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En–gedi; six cities with their villages.
63	예루살렘에 살던 여부스 사람들은 유다 사람들이 몰아내지 못했다. 그래서 여부스에 살던 사람들이 유다 사람들과 함께 오늘까지 예루살렘에 살고 있다.	As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
