절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	하나님의 집터를 닦다 일곱째 달이 되었다. 그동안 이스라엘 사람들은 여러 도시에 있었다. 그러다가 백성이 하나같이 예루살렘으로 모여들었다.	And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.
2	여호사닥의 아들 예수아와 제사장인 그의 형제들이 일어났다. 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 그의 형제들도 일어났다. 그들은 이스라엘의 하나님의 제단을 지었다. 제단 위에다 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법에 적혀 있는 대로 다태우는제물(번제물)을 드리려는 것이었다.	Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
3	그들은 이전에 있던 자리에다 제단을 세웠다. 그 땅에 사는 백성을 두려워했기 때문이다. 그들은 그 위에다 다태우는제물(번제물)을 여호와께 아침과 저녁에 올렸다.	And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the Lord, even burnt offerings morning and evening.
4	그들은 적혀 있는 대로 초막명절(초막절)을 지켰고, 하루하루 드리는 다태우는제물(번제물)을 정해진 수만큼 날마다 그날 정해진 대로 드렸다.	They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;
5	그런 뒤에 올린 것은 날마다 드리는 다태우는제물(번제물), 초하룻날과 여호와의 모든 거룩한 명절들을 위한 것, 여호와께 바치는 각 사람의 자원하는 예물이었다.	And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the Lord that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the Lord.
6	일곱째 달 첫째 날부터 여호와께 다태우는제물(번제물)을 올리기 시작했다. 여호와의 성전 터도 다지지 못한 때였다.	From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the Lord. But the foundation of the temple of the Lord was not yet laid.
7	그들은 돌장이들과 목수들에게 돈을 주었고, 먹을거리와 마실 거리와 기름을 시돈 사람들과 티레 사람들에게 주었다. 이들이 레바논에서 욥바 앞바다로 삼나무(백향목)를 가져오게 했다. 페르시아 임금 키루스가 준 권한에 따른 것이었다.	They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.
8	그들이 예루살렘에 있는 하나님의 집으로 온 지 2년째 되는 해의 둘째 달이었다. 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 여호사닥의 아들 예수아와 그들의 나머지 형제들이 일을 시작했다. 제사장들, 레위 사람들, 사로잡혀 갔다가 예루살렘으로 돌아온 모든 사람들이 함께했다. 그들은 20세 이상 레위 사람들을 세워 여호와의 집을 짓는 일을 감독하게 했다.	Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the Lord.
9	예수아와 그의 자손들과 그의 형제들, 갓미엘과 그의 자손들, 유다 사람들이 하나같이 일어섰다. 하나님의 집을 짓는 일을 하는 사람들을 감독했다. 헤나닷의 아들들, 그들의 아들들, 그들의 형제들도 함께했다. 레위 사람들이었다.	Then stood Jeshua with his sons and his brethren, Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, together, to set forward the workmen in the house of God: the sons of Henadad, with their sons and their brethren the Levites.
10	여호와의 성전을 짓는 사람들이 터를 다질 때였다. 제사장들은 옷을 갖춰 입고 트럼펫을 들고 서 있었고, 레위 사람들인 아삽 사람들은 심벌즈를 들고 서 있었다. 그들은 이스라엘 임금 다윗의 지침에 따라 여호와를 찬양했다.	And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.
11	그들이 노래를 주고받으며 여호와께 찬양하고 감사드렸다. “여호와는 좋은 분이십니다!” “영원합니다, 이스라엘 위에 여호와의 한결같은 사랑이!” 여호와의 집터가 다져지는 것을 보고 온 백성이 환호성을 내지르며 여호와를 찬양했다.	And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
12	제사장들, 레위 사람들, 나이 든 집안 어른들 가운데에는 첫 집을 본 사람들이 많이 있었다. 그들은 자신들 눈앞에서 이 집터가 다져지는 것을 보고 큰 소리로 울고 있었다. 그런가 하면 기뻐 외치며 목소리를 높이는 사람들도 많이 있었다.	But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:
13	그래서 백성 그 누구도 기뻐 외치는 소리와 백성의 울음소리를 구별할 수가 없었다. 백성이 큰 소리로 외치고 있었고, 그 소리가 멀리에서 들렸기 때문이다.	So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.
