1	마곡의 군주 곡 (예언자) 여호와의 말씀이 나에게 내려오는 일이 일어났습니다.	And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2	(하나님) “사람아, 너의 얼굴을 마곡 땅의 곡에게로 돌려라. 그는 메섹과 두발의 우두머리 군주이다. 그를 두고서 예언해라.	Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3	말해 주어라. (예언자) ‘주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「보라, 내가 너와 맞서겠다, 곡아, 메섹과 두발의 우두머리 군주야!	And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4	내가 너를 돌아서게 하겠다. 갈고리로 네 턱을 꿰겠다. 너를 끌어내고 너의 군대를 다 끌어내겠다. 말들과 기마병들, 완전 무장을 한 사람들을 모조리 끌어내겠다. 큰 방패와 손 방패를 든 큰 무리, 칼 잡은 큰 무리를 모조리 끌어내겠다.	And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5	페르시아, 에티오피아, 리비아가 그들과 함께할 것이다. 다들 방패와 투구를 갖추고 있을 것이다.	Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6	고멜과 그 병력도 다 끌어내고, 북쪽 끝의 도갈마 집안과 그 병력도 다 끌어내겠다. 이 많은 백성을 너와 함께 끌어내겠다.	Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7	너 곡은 스스로 준비하고 대비해라. 너에게로 모여든 무리도 다 그렇게 해라. 너는 그들을 잘 지켜 주도록 해라.	Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8	여러 날이 지나면 네가 불려 나갈 것이다. 그 마지막 해에는 칼을 벗어나 재건된 땅으로 네가 쳐들어갈 것이다. 많은 백성이 모여들었던 땅이다. 오랫동안 쑥대밭이 되어 있던 이스라엘의 산들로 네가 쳐들어갈 것이다. 이 땅은 그 백성이 백성들한테서부터 빠져나와 모두들 안전하게 살고 있는 땅이다.	After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9	네가 폭풍우처럼 올라올 것이다. 땅을 뒤덮은 구름처럼 될 것이다. 너의 병력 전부와 너와 함께한 큰 무리도 그렇게 올라올 것이다.」	Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10	(예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「그날에 너의 마음에 일들이 떠올라서 너는 악한 계획들을 세울 것이다.	Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11	너는 생각할 것이다, 무방비 상태의 땅으로 올라가야겠다고. 편안하게 지내는 사람들, 안전하게 살고 있는 사람들에게 가야겠다고. 그들은 모두 성벽도 없이 살고 있다고. 그들에게는 문빗장도 문도 없다고 너는 생각할 것이다.	And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12	그래서 너는 약탈할 것을 약탈하고 털 것을 털려고 할 것이다. 너의 손을 되돌려서, 쑥대밭이었다가 다시 사람이 살게 된 곳들을 공격하려고 할 것이다. 민족들한테서부터 나와서 다시 모인 백성을 공격하려고 할 것이다. 가축과 재산을 마련한 사람, 땅의 한가운데서 살고 있는 사람들을 공격하려고 할 것이다.	To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13	세바와 드단, 또 다르시스의 상인들과 다르시스의 모든 어린 사자들이 너에게 물을 것이다, 약탈할 것을 약탈하려고 왔느냐고. 털 것을 털려고 무리를 이루었느냐고. 은과 금을 옮겨 가고, 가축과 재산을 빼앗아 가려는 것이냐고. 약탈할 것을 크게 약탈하려는 것이냐고 물을 것이다.」’	Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14	이러므로 예언해라, 사람아. 곡에게 말해 주어라. (예언자) ‘주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「그날에, 나의 백성 이스라엘이 안전하게 사는 때에, 너는 알게 될 것이다.	Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15	너는 너 있던 곳인 북쪽 끝에서부터 올 것이다. 너뿐만 아니라 많은 백성이 너와 함께할 것이다. 다들 말 탄 사람들이다. 큰 무리이고 많은 군대다.	And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16	너는 나의 백성 이스라엘을 공격하려고 올라올 것이다. 땅을 덮은 구름 같을 것이다. 끝 날에 이 일이 일어날 것이다. 내가 너를 데려와서 나의 땅을 공격하게 하겠다. 민족들이 나를 알도록 하려는 것이다. 내가 나의 거룩함을 민족들의 눈앞에서 너한테 드러낼 때 그렇게 할 것이다, 곡아!」	And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17	(예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「바로 너냐, 옛적에 내가 나의 종들 곧 이스라엘의 예언자들을 통해 말한 그 사람이? 그때 여러 해 동안 그들이 예언해 왔다, 내가 너를 데려와서 그들을 공격하게 하려는 것이라고.」’”	Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18	곡에 대한 심판 (하나님) “그날에 일어날 일이다. 곡이 이스라엘 땅으로 쳐들어오는 날에 ― 주 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 나의 노여움이 나의 코에서 치솟아 오를 것이다.	And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19	나의 열정과 불 같은 노여움 가운데 내가 말했다, 참으로 그날에 이스라엘 땅에 큰 떨림 곧 지진이 날 것이라고!	For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20	그러면 나의 앞에서 바다의 고기와 하늘의 새와 들판의 짐승과 땅에서 기는 모든 벌레가 떨릴 것이다. 땅 위에 사는 모든 인간도 떨릴 것이다. 산들이 헐리고 절벽들이 주저앉고 성벽마다 땅바닥에 주저앉을 것이다.	So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21	내가 나의 모든 산에서 곡을 공격할 칼을 부르겠다. ― 주 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 각 사람의 칼이 자기 형제에게로 향할 것이다.	And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
22	내가 곡을 돌림병과 피로 심판하겠다. 쏟아붓는 비와 돌덩이 같은 우박, 불과 유황을 그와 그의 병력에게 내리겠다. 그와 함께한 많은 백성에게도 내리겠다.	And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23	그래서 내가 내 위대함을 보이고 내 거룩함을 드러내고 나를 알려 주겠다. 많은 민족의 눈앞에서 그렇게 하겠다. 그때 그들이 알게 될 것이다, 내가 여호와인 것을!”	Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
