절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	에돔에 대한 예언 (예언자) 여호와의 말씀이 나에게 내려오는 일이 일어났습니다.	Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2	(하나님) “사람아, 너의 얼굴을 세일산 쪽으로 돌려라. 그러고는 그 산을 두고서 예언해라.	Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3	그 산에 대고 말해 주어라. (예언자) ‘주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「보라, 내가 너와 맞서겠다, 세일산아! 내가 너에게로 나의 손을 뻗겠다. 너를 황무지와 황야로 만들겠다.	And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
4	너의 도시들을 내가 쑥대밭으로 만들겠다. 너는 황무지가 될 것이다. 그때 너는 알게 될 것이다, 내가 여호와인 것을!	I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.
5	너한테 옛적부터 이스라엘 사람들을 적으로 여기는 마음이 있었다. 그래서 너는 그들을 칼의 세력에 넘겨주었다. 그들이 불행을 겪을 때, 마지막 형벌을 받을 때 말이다.	Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
6	이러므로 내가 살아 있음을 걸고 분명히 말해 둔다. ― 주 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 내가 너를 피 흘리게 만들겠다. 그래서 피가 너를 뒤쫓을 것이다. 너는 피를 싫어하지 않았으므로 피가 반드시 너를 뒤쫓을 것이다.	Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
7	내가 세일산을 완전히 황무지로 만들겠다. 그리로 지나가거나 돌아오는 사람을 없애 버리겠다.	Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
8	내가 그곳 산들을 칼에 찔려 죽은 사람들로 가득 채우겠다. 너의 언덕들과 골짜기들과 모든 시내 바닥들, 그런 곳들에도 칼에 찔려 죽은 사람들이 쓰러져 있을 것이다.	And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
9	내가 너를 영원한 황무지로 만들겠다. 너의 도시들에 사람이 살지 않을 것이다. 그때 너희가 알게 될 것이다, 내가 여호와인 것을!	I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
10	너는 이 두 민족과 이 두 나라 땅이 너의 것이 될 것이라고 말했다. 너희가 그 땅을 차지할 것이라고도 말했다. 그렇지만 여호와께서 거기에 계셨다.	Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there:
11	이러므로 내가 살아 있음을 걸고 분명히 말해 둔다. ― 주 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 내가 너의 분노와 질투에 걸맞게 너에게 해 주겠다. 너는 그들을 미워하여 그들에게 그렇게 했다. 그래서 내가 너를 심판할 때 그들에게 나 자신을 알려 주겠다.	Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
12	그때 너는 알게 될 것이다, 나 여호와가 너의 모든 비방을 들었다는 것을! 너는 이스라엘 산들을 두고서 황폐해졌다고 말했다. 너희에게 먹을거리로 넘겨졌다고 말했다.	And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
13	너희가 나를 거슬러 너희 입으로 스스로를 높이고, 나를 거슬러 말을 많이 했다. 내가 직접 들었다.」	Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.
14	(예언자) 주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「온 땅이 기뻐하는 대로 내가 너를 황무지로 만들겠다.	Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
15	이스라엘 집안이 나누어 받은 땅이 황폐해졌을 때, 네가 기뻐한 그대로 내가 너에게 해 주겠다. 너는 황무지가 될 것이다. 세일산과 온 에돔, 그 모든 것이 그렇게 될 것이다. 그때 그들이 알게 될 것이다, 내가 여호와인 것을!」’”	As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
