절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	교회의 하나 됨을 지키라 그러므로 여러분에게 내가, 주님 때문에 갇힌 사람인 내가 권유합니다. 여러분은 부르심받은 그 부르심에 어울리게 살아가십시오.	I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2	완전히 낮은 자세와 온유함으로, 참을성을 가지고 서로를 대하십시오. 사랑으로 서로 받아들여 주십시오.	With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3	성령님이 평화의 줄로 한데 묶어 이루어 놓으신 하나 됨을 지키려고 애쓰십시오.	Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4	몸도 하나이고 성령님도 한 분이십니다. 여러분도 부르심을 받았을 때 한 희망 안으로 부르심을 받은 것처럼요.	There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5	주님도 한 분이시고, 믿음도 하나이고, 세례도 하나입니다.	One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6	하나님, 곧 모든 것의 아버지도 한 분이십니다. 하나님은 모든 것 위에, 모든 것을 통해서, 모든 것 안에 계신 분이십니다.	One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7	하나님이 우리 한 사람 한 사람에게 은혜를 주셨습니다. 그리스도께서 주신 선물의 분량에 따라서 그렇게 하셨습니다.	But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8	그러므로 성경이 말합니다. “그분이 높은 데로 올라가실 때에 포로들을 잡아가셨으며, 선물을 주셨습니다, 사람들에게.”	Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9	“그분이 올라가셨다.”라는 것은 무슨 말입니까? 땅보다 더 낮은 지역으로 내려가기도 하셨다는 말이 아니고 무엇이겠습니까?	(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10	내려가셨던 바로 그분이 모든 하늘 위로 높이 올라가신 분이기도 합니다. 만물을 가득 채우시려고 말입니다.	He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11	바로 그분이 어떤 사람은 사도로, 어떤 사람은 예언자로, 어떤 사람은 복음 전도자로, 어떤 사람은 목사와 교사로 세워 주셨습니다.	And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12	성도들을 잘 준비시켜서 섬기는 일을 하게 하시고, 그리스도의 몸을 세우도록 하려고 하신 것입니다.	For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13	그리하여 마침내는 우리 모두가 하나님의 아들을 믿는 일과 알아 가는 일에서 하나가 되어야 합니다. 완전한 사람이 되어야 합니다. 완전히 자라서 그리스도의 가득하심에까지 다다라야 합니다.	Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14	우리는 더 이상 철부지 아이여서는 안 됩니다. 온갖 가르침의 파도와 바람에 휩쓸리거나 이리저리 떠밀려 다녀서는 안 됩니다. 사람들의 술수나, 속여 헤매게 하려는 계획에 따른 나쁜 꾀에 빠져서는 안 됩니다.	That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15	우리는 사랑 안에서 진리를 말하면서 모든 면에서 그분한테까지 자라 가야 합니다. 그분은 머리, 곧 그리스도이십니다.	But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16	그분에게서 온몸이 함께 어우러지고 함께 연결되어 있습니다. 받쳐 주는 관절 하나하나를 통해서요. 관절마다 각 부분에서 알맞게 역할을 함에 따라 몸이 자라나게 됩니다. 그리하여 사랑 안에서 몸이 세워지게 됩니다.	From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17	옛사람을 떨쳐 내 버리고 새사람을 입으라 그러므로 주님 안에서 내가 이것을 말하고 간곡히 부탁합니다. 여러분은 다른 민족들처럼 살아가지 마십시오. 그들이 자기들의 헛된 생각 속에 살아가고 있는 것처럼 하지 마십시오.	This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18	그들은 생각이 어두워져 있습니다. 하나님의 생명하고는 멀리 떨어져 있습니다. 그들 속에 있는 무지 때문이고, 그들의 마음의 고집 때문입니다.	Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19	그들은 수치심이 없어져서 멋대로 놀아났습니다. 탐욕을 부리며 온갖 더러운 일에 빠졌습니다.	Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20	그러나 여러분은, 그리스도를 그렇게 배우지 않았습니다.	But ye have not so learned Christ;
21	여러분이 정말로 예수님 안에 있는 진리대로 그분에 대해 듣고 그분 안에서 가르침을 받았다면 말입니다.	If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22	여러분은 지난날의 생활 방식에 따라 사는 옛사람을 떨쳐 내 버려야 합니다. 옛사람은 속이는 욕망을 따라 썩어 가고 있습니다.	That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23	오히려 여러분의 생각에 성령님이 작용하여 여러분이 완전히 새로워져야 합니다.	And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24	또한 새사람, 곧 하나님을 따라 진리의 의로움과 거룩함으로 창조된 사람을 옷으로 입어야 합니다.	And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25	새사람을 입은 사람이 사는 방식 그러므로 여러분은 거짓된 것을 떨쳐 내 버리고 저마다 자기 이웃과 더불어 참된 것을 말하십시오. 우리는 서로의 몸의 각 부분들이기 때문입니다.	Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26	화를 내더라도 죄를 짓지는 마십시오. 해가 질 때까지 화를 품고 있어서는 안 됩니다.	Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27	마귀에게 빈틈을 내주지 마십시오.	Neither give place to the devil.
28	도둑질하는 사람은 더는 도둑질하지 말아야 합니다. 오히려 자신의 손으로 선한 일을 하면서 힘들여 일하시기 바랍니다. 그래서 필요한 사람에게 나눠 줄 수 있도록 하시기 바랍니다.	Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29	어떤 해로운 말도 여러분 입에서 나오지 않도록 해야 합니다. 그러나 필요할 때 사람들을 세워 주는 데에 좋은 말이 있으면 해도 됩니다. 듣는 사람들에게 은혜가 되도록 말입니다.	Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30	하나님의 성령님을 슬프게 하지 마십시오. 죄에서 완전히 풀어 주시는 날을 위하여 하나님이 여러분에게 성령님 안에서 확인 도장을 찍어 주셨습니다.	And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31	온갖 앙심과 분노와 노여움과 소리 지름과 모독은 온갖 나쁜 짓과 함께 여러분한테서 다 치워 버리시기 바랍니다.	Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32	그러나 서로한테 너그럽게 대하십시오. 가슴으로 잘 공감하면서 서로 용서의 은혜를 베푸십시오. 하나님도 그리스도 안에서 여러분에게 용서의 은혜를 베푸셨으니까요.	And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
