1	(예언자) 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “모압의 세 가지 범죄 때문에, 또 네 가지 때문에 내가 예고한 심판을 거두어들이지 않겠다. 그가 에돔 임금의 뼈를 불태워 석회로 만들었기 때문이다.	Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:
2	내가 모압 안으로 불을 보내겠다. 그 불이 그리욧의 궁궐들을 집어삼킬 것이다. 시끄러운 가운데서 모압이 죽을 것이다. 함성 가운데서, 뿔나팔 소리 가운데서 죽을 것이다.	But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:
3	내가 모압의 한가운데서부터 지배자를 뿌리 뽑고, 모압의 모든 지휘관들을 그와 함께 죽이겠다.” (예언자) 여호와께서 말씀하셨습니다.	And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the Lord.
4	유다와 이스라엘이 심판받을 것이다 (예언자) 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “유다의 세 가지 범죄 때문에, 또 네 가지 때문에 내가 예고한 심판을 거두어들이지 않겠다. 그들이 여호와의 가르침을 마다하고, 여호와의 규정들을 지키지 않았기 때문이다. 그들의 거짓 신들이 그들을 잘못된 길로 이끌었다. 그 거짓 신들을 그들의 조상들도 뒤따라갔다.	Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the Lord, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
5	내가 유다 안으로 불을 보내겠다. 그 불이 예루살렘의 궁궐들을 집어삼킬 것이다.”	But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
6	(예언자) 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) “이스라엘의 세 가지 범죄 때문에, 또 네 가지 때문에 내가 예고한 심판을 거두어들이지 않겠다. 돈을 받고 그들이 의인을 팔아넘겼고, 가난한 사람을 샌들 한 켤레 값에 팔아넘겼기 때문이다.	Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;
7	또 그들은 기댈 데 없는 사람들의 머리를 흙바닥에 대고 짓이긴다. 불쌍한 사람들의 길을 틀어 놓는다. 아들과 아버지가 한 젊은 여자를 만나러 가서 나의 거룩한 이름을 더럽힌다.	That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:
8	그들은 제단 있는 곳이면 어디든 그 옆에 전당 잡은 옷들을 깔고서 그 위에 몸을 쭉 편다. 벌금 조로 받은 포도주를 그들의 하나님 집에서 마신다.	And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
9	그러나 바로 내가 아모리 사람들을 그들 앞에서 없애 버렸다. 아모리 사람들은 삼나무(백향목)처럼 컸고 참나무처럼 강했다. 내가 위쪽에서부터는 그들의 열매를, 아래쪽에서부터는 그들의 뿌리를 없애 버렸다.	Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
10	바로 내가 너희를 이집트 땅에서부터 데리고 올라왔다. 광야에서 40년 동안 걷게 하여 너희가 아모리 사람들의 땅을 차지하게 했다.	Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
11	내가 너희의 자손들 가운데서 몇을 예언자로, 너희의 젊은이들 가운데서 몇을 몸바친사람(나실인)으로 세웠다. 정말 이렇지 않았느냐, 이스라엘 사람들아? ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―	And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the Lord.
12	몸바친사람(나실인)들에게 너희가 포도주를 마시게 했고, 예언자들에게 ‘예언하지 마세요!’ 하고 말했다.	But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
13	보라, 내가 너희 아래의 땅을 갈라지게 하겠다. 베어 둔 이삭을 가득 실은 수레가 땅바닥을 갈라지게 하듯이 하겠다.	Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.
14	재빠른 사람에게서 도피처가 없어질 것이고, 강한 사람도 제 힘을 세게 쓰지 못할 것이다. 용사도 자기 목숨을 건져 내지 못할 것이다.	Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:
15	활 잡은 사람도 서지 못할 것이고, 발 빠른 사람도 몸을 피하지 못할 것이다. 말 탄 사람도 자기 목숨을 건져 내지 못할 것이다.	Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.
16	그날에 용사들 가운데서 담력이 센 사람도 맨몸으로 달아날 것이다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―”	And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the Lord.
