1	모세에게 가나안 땅을 보여 주시다 모세가 모압 벌판에서 느보산으로 올라가서 비스가산 꼭대기에 이르렀다. 여리고 맞은편이었다. 여호와께서 모세에게 온 땅을 보여 주셨다. 단에 이르는 길르앗을 보여 주셨다.	And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
2	온 납달리, 또 에브라임과 므낫세 땅, 지중해에 이르는 온 유다 땅도 보여 주셨다.	And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
3	네게브와 여리고 곧 대추야자나무(종려나무) 도시의 골짜기 들판을 소알까지 보여 주셨다.	And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
4	여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. “내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 굳게 약속하면서 ‘너의 후손에게 주겠다.’ 하고 말한 땅이 이러하다. 내가 너에게 너의 두 눈으로 이 땅을 보게는 해 주었다만, 네가 그리로 건너가지는 못할 것이다.”	And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5	모세가 죽고 이스라엘이 슬퍼하다 여호와의 종 모세가 거기, 모압 땅에서 죽었다. 여호와의 말씀대로였다.	So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6	모세를 모압 땅 곧 벳브올 맞은편의 골짜기에 묻었는데, 그의 무덤은 오늘까지도 아는 사람이 없다.	And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth–peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7	모세가 죽을 때 120세였는데, 눈이 어두워지지 않았고 기운이 떨어지지 않았다.	And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
8	이스라엘 사람들은 모압 벌판에서 30일 동안 모세의 죽음을 슬퍼하여 울었다. 그래서 모세의 죽음을 슬퍼하며 우는 날수를 다 채웠다.	And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9	여호수아가 모세의 뒤를 잇다 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 지혜의 영이 가득 찼다. 모세가 그의 위에 손을 얹었기 때문이다. 이스라엘 사람들은 여호수아의 말을 듣고 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 대로 했다.	And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
10	모세는 어떤 사람이었는가 이스라엘 가운데 모세와 같은 예언자가 더는 일어나지 않았다. 모세는 여호와께서 얼굴과 얼굴을 마주하여 아시던 사람이었다.	And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11	모든 증표와 기적을, 여호와께서는 모세를 보내어 이집트 땅에서 파라오와 그의 모든 신하와 그의 온 땅에 해 보이게 하셨다.	In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12	강한 손으로, 온갖 두렵고 큰일을 모세가 온 이스라엘의 눈앞에서 해 보였다.	And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
