1	내 마음에서 좋은 말이 흘러나왔어.“내가, 나의 지은 글을 임금님에게 읊어 드리는 거야.내 혀는 솜씨 있는 서기관의 쇠붓 같아.”	My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2	임금의 결혼 예식에서 부르는 노래 / 찬양 인도자에게 맞춤. 쇼샨님(연꽃들) 가락. 고라흐 사람들에게 속한 것. 마스길(슬기롭게 하는 노래). 사랑 노래. / (혼잣말) / (임금에게 하는 말) 임금님은 인간들 가운데서 가장 아름다우십니다. 우아함이 임금님의 입술에서 흘러나옵니다. 이런 까닭에 하나님이 임금님에게 영원히 복을 내리셨습니다.	Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3	허리에 칼을 차십시오, 용사이신 임금님! 임금님의 위엄과 명예를 드러내십시오.	Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4	임금님의 위엄으로 이기십시오. 진실과 겸손과 공의를 위해 나아가십시오. 임금님의 오른손으로 무서운 일들을 해내실 것입니다.	And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5	임금님의 화살은 날카롭습니다. 다른 나라 백성들을 임금님 발아래에 거꾸러지게 할 것입니다. 임금님의 원수들 심장을 꿰뚫을 것입니다.	Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
6	(기도) 주님의 임금자리는, 오, 하나님, 계속 이어집니다, 영원히 언제까지나! 올곧은 지팡이가 주님 나라의 지팡이입니다.	Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
7	(임금에게 하는 말) 임금님은 공의를 사랑하시고 악을 미워하십니다. 이런 까닭에 임금님에게 기름부어 주셨습니다, 하나님 곧 임금님의 하나님이 즐거움의 기름을 임금님의 동료들에게보다 더 많이.	Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8	몰약과 침향과 계피 냄새가 납니다, 임금님의 모든 옷에서는. 상아 궁전에서 나는 줄악기 소리가 임금님을 즐겁게 합니다.	All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
9	다른 나라 공주들이 임금님의 고귀한 여자들 가운데 있습니다. 임금님의 오른쪽에는 왕비님이 서 계십니다, 오피르의 금으로 치장하시고서.	Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
10	(왕비에게 하는 말) 들으십시오, 왕비님! 보고 귀 기울이십시오. 잊어버리십시오, 왕비님의 백성과 왕비님 친정집은.	Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;
11	임금님이 원하는 것은 왕비님의 아름다움입니다. 임금님은 왕비님의 주인이므로 임금님에게 절하십시오.	So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.
12	티레 주민들이 선물을 가지고 옵니다. 왕비님의 환심을 사려고 합니다, 백성 가운데 부유한 사람들이.	And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
13	공주님은 왕궁 안에서 온갖 영광을 누립니다. 공주님의 옷은 금실을 짜 넣어 만들었습니다.	The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
14	(임금에게 하는 말) 알록달록한 옷을 입은 공주님을 사람들이 임금님께 데려다드립니다. 그 뒤로 공주님의 친구인 젊은 여자들도 임금님께 데려갑니다.	She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
15	그들이 기뻐하고 즐거워하면서 나아갑니다. 그들이 임금님의 궁전으로 들어갑니다.	With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.
16	임금님의 조상들 자리에 임금님의 자식들이 들어설 것입니다. 임금님은 그들을 온 나라에 고위 관리로 삼으실 수 있습니다.	Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
17	내가 임금님의 이름을 사람들이 기억하게 만들겠습니다, 세대마다 대대로! 이런 까닭에 다른 나라 백성들이 임금님을 칭송할 것입니다, 영원히 언제까지나!	I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
