1	오, 하나님, 우리가 우리 귀로 들었습니다.우리 조상들이 우리에게 이야기해 주었습니다,조상들이 살던 때 곧 옛날에 주님이 하신 일을.	We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
2	어려운 가운데서 도우심을 구하는 기도 / 찬양 인도자에게 맞춤. 고라흐 사람들에게 속한 것. 마스길(슬기롭게 하는 노래). 주님이 주님의 손으로 여러 민족을 몰아내시고, 우리 조상들을 그 땅에 살게 하셨습니다. 주님이 여러 백성을 쳐부수어 내보내셨습니다.	How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
3	우리 조상들이 자신들 칼로 땅을 차지한 것도 아니고, 자신들 팔의 힘으로 살아난 것도 아닙니다. 주님의 오른손과 팔, 또 주님 얼굴의 빛으로 그렇게 된 것입니다. 주님이 그들을 기뻐하셨으니까요.	For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
4	주님이야말로 나의 임금님이십니다, 오, 하나님! 야곱에게 도움을 베풀어 주십시오.	Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
5	주님을 힘입어 우리가 적들을 무찔렀습니다. 주님의 이름으로 우리가 짓밟았습니다, 우리에게 맞서던 사람들을.	Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
6	내 활을 나는 믿지 않거든요. 내 칼이 나를 구하지 못하거든요.	For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
7	주님이 우리를 우리의 적들에게서 구하셨고, 우리를 미워하는 사람들을 창피당하게 하셨거든요.	But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
8	하나님을 우리가 온종일 자랑합니다. 주님의 이름에 우리가 길이길이 감사드립니다. 셀라.	In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
9	그런데 주님이 우리를 쫓아내어 창피를 주셨습니다. 주님이 우리 군대와 함께 나아가시지 않습니다.	But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
10	주님이 우리를 적군 앞에서 물러나게 하십니다. 우리를 미워하는 자들이 우리 것을 빼앗아 갔습니다.	Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
11	주님이 우리를 잡아 죽일 양처럼 내버려두셨습니다. 민족들 가운데로 주님이 우리를 흩어 버리셨습니다.	Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
12	푼돈을 받고서 주님이 주님의 백성을 팔아 버리셨습니다. 그들을 파신 값으로는 주님이 벌어들이신 것이 없습니다.	Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
13	주님이 우리를 우리 이웃들에게 치욕거리가 되게 하십니다. 우리 주변 사람들에게 비웃음거리와 놀림거리가 되게 하십니다.	Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
14	주님이 우리를 민족들 가운데서 이야깃거리가 되게 하십니다. 다른 백성들에게 조롱의 대상이 되게 하십니다.	Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
15	내게 수치스러운 일이 온종일 내 앞에 있고, 부끄러움이 내 얼굴을, 나를 뒤덮었습니다.	My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
16	비아냥거리고 헐뜯는 소리 때문입니다. 원수와 복수심에 불타는 사람 때문입니다.	For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
17	이 온갖 일이 우리에게 닥쳤으나 우리는 주님을 잊지 않았습니다. 우리는 주님이 맺어 주신 언약을 깨뜨리지 않았습니다.	All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
18	뒤돌아서지 않았습니다, 우리의 마음이. 벗어나지 않았습니다, 우리의 발걸음이, 주님의 길에서.	Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
19	그런데 주님은 자칼이 사는 곳에서 우리를 쳐부수셨습니다. 우리의 위쪽을 캄캄함으로 덮으셨습니다.	Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
20	우리가 우리 하나님의 이름을 잊어버렸다고 합시다. 우리의 손바닥을 낯선 신에게로 폈다고 합시다.	If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
21	하나님이 이것을 밝혀내지 않으시겠습니까? 하나님은 마음의 비밀을 아시거든요.	Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
22	주님 때문에 우리는 죽임을 당합니다, 온종일! 잡아 죽일 양처럼 여겨집니다.	Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
23	깨어나십시오. 무슨 까닭으로 주무십니까, 주님? 일어나십시오. 우리를 영영 쫓아내지 마십시오.	Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
24	무슨 까닭으로 주님의 얼굴을 숨기십니까? 잊어버리려 하십니까, 우리의 비참함과 괴로움을?	Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
25	우리의 목덜미가 녹아내려 흙먼지가 되었거든요. 땅바닥에 달라붙었거든요, 우리의 배는.	For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
26	일어나십시오. 우리를 도와주십시오. 우리를 구해 주십시오, 주님의 한결같은 사랑을 위해서!	Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.
