절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	여호와를 찾으세요 (예언자) 서로 모이세요, 모이세요, 창피함을 모르는 민족인 여러분!	Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
2	결정이 나기 전에 모이세요! 겨처럼 날이 지나가기 전에요. 여러분에게 여호와의 뜨거운 노여움이 닥치기 전에요. 여러분에게 여호와의 분노의 날이 닥치기 전에요.	Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you.
3	다들 여호와를 찾으세요, 땅의 겸손한 사람들이여! 여러분은 여호와의 정의를 행동으로 옮기는 사람들이지요. 공의를 추구하세요! 겸손을 추구하세요! 어쩌면 여러분이 여호와의 분노의 날에도 보호받을 것이니까요.	Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.
4	민족들의 멸망 (하나님) “가자가 버림받고 아스글론은 황무지가 될 것이다. 아스돗을 사람들이 한낮에 내쫓고, 에그론은 뿌리 뽑힐 것이다.	For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.
5	끝장났다, 바닷가 지역에 사는 민족인 그렛 사람들은! ― 여러분을 두고 하신 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 가나안아, 필리스티아 사람들의 땅아! 내가 너를 멸망시켜서 사는 사람이 없게 하겠다.	Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the Lord is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
6	바닷가 지역이 풀밭이 될 것이고, 목자들의 목초지와 양 떼의 우리가 될 것이다.	And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
7	그 지역이 유다 집안의 남은 사람들의 것이 될 것이고, 그 지역에서 그들이 양들을 먹일 것이다. 아스글론의 집들에서 그들이 저녁에 누울 것이다. 여호와 그들의 하나님이 그들을 보살피고 그들의 운명을 바꾸어 줄 것이기 때문이다.	And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.
8	내가 들었다, 모압이 조롱하는 소리를, 암몬 사람들이 비방하는 소리를. 그들이 내 백성을 조롱했다. 내 백성의 땅의 경계에서 건방지게 굴었다.	I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
9	이러므로 내가 살아 있음을 걸고 분명히 말해 둔다. ― 전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 말씀입니다. ― 모압은 소돔처럼 되고, 암몬 사람들은 고모라처럼 될 것이다. 잡초밭이 되고 소금 구덩이가 될 것이다. 영원에 이르도록 황무지가 될 것이다. 내 백성의 남은 사람들이 그들을 약탈하고, 내 민족의 남은 사람들이 그들의 것을 차지할 것이다.	Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
10	이 일이 그들에게 미친 것은 그들의 거만함 때문이다. 그들이 전능한 여호와의 백성을 조롱하고 그들에게 건방지게 굴었기 때문이다.	This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts.
11	여호와가 그들에게 두려움이 될 것이다. 땅의 모든 신들을 사라져 없어지게 할 것이다. 그래서 바닷가의 모든 민족이 저마다 제자리에서 여호와에게 엎드려 절할 것이다.	The Lord will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.
12	너희 에티오피아 사람들 또한 나의 칼에 찔려 죽을 것이다.	Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword.
13	또 여호와가 손을 북으로 뻗어 아시리아를 멸망시킬 것이다. 니네베를 황무지로 만들 것이다. 광야처럼 메마른 땅으로 만들 것이다.	And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
14	그러면 니네베 가운데 짐승의 종류마다 떼를 지어 누울 것이다. 갈까마귀도 올빼미도 니네베의 기둥머리들에서 밤을 지낼 것이다. 그 노래하는 소리가 창문에서 나고, 문지방에는 황폐해진 모습이 있을 것이다. 삼나무(백향목)로 만든 것이 벌겋게 드러나 있을 것이다.	And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work.
15	이곳은 사람들이 신나게 떠들어 대는 도시, 태평하게 사는 도시였는데! 사람들이 마음속으로 ‘나다! 나 말고는 더 없다!’ 말하는 도시였는데! 어째서 끔찍한 곳, 들짐승이 눕는 곳이 되었는가! 지나가는 사람마다 소리 내어 비웃고, 손을 흔들 것이다.”	This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
