절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	여호와의 말씀이 스바냐에게 내려오다 여호와의 말씀. 그 말씀이 스바냐에게 내려오는 일이 일어났다. 그는 구시의 아들이자 그달랴의 손자이자 아마랴의 증손자이자 히스기야의 고손자였다. 아몬의 아들 요시야가 유다 임금인 때였다.	The word of the Lord which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.
2	여호와의 날 (하나님) “내가 모든 것을 땅 위에서부터 없애 버리고야 말겠다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―	I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the Lord.
3	내가 사람과 짐승을 없애 버리겠다. 하늘의 새와 바다의 물고기도 없애 버리겠다. 이것들이 악인들을 걸려 넘어지게 한다. 내가 사람을 땅 위에서부터 끊어 버리겠다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―	I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the Lord.
4	내가 나의 손을 뻗어 유다와 예루살렘에 사는 모든 사람을 치겠다. 그래서 바알의 남아 있는 찌꺼기를 이곳에서부터 끊어 버리겠다. 우상을 섬기는 제사장들의 이름도 다른 제사장들과 함께 끊어 버리겠다.	I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests;
5	옥상 위에서 하늘 군대인 별들에게 절하는 사람들도 내가 끊어 버리겠다. 여호와에게 절하고 맹세하는 사람, 그러면서도 밀곰을 걸고 맹세하는 사람들도 끊어 버리겠다.	And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the Lord, and that swear by Malcham;
6	여호와한테서 뒤돌아선 사람들도 내가 끊어 버리겠다. 여호와를 찾지 않고 여호와에게 묻지 않는 사람들도 끊어 버리겠다.”	And them that are turned back from the Lord; and those that have not sought the Lord, nor enquired for him.
7	(예언자) 주 여호와 앞에서 조용히 하세요! 여호와의 날이 가까우니까요. 여호와께서 희생제물을 마련해 두셨으니까요. 여호와께서 부르신 사람들을 거룩하게 하셨기 때문입니다.	Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
8	(하나님) “여호와의 희생제삿날에 일이 일어날 것이다. 내가 고위 관리들과 임금의 자식들과 다른 나라 옷을 입는 모든 사람을 벌하겠다.	And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.
9	그날에 문지방을 뛰어넘는 사람이라면 누구라도 내가 벌하겠다. 자기 주인의 집을 폭력과 속임수로 채우는 사람들을 벌하겠다.	In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.
10	그날에! ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 부르짖는 소리가 ‘물고기들의 성문’에서부터 날 것이고, 울부짖는 소리가 예루살렘 신도시에서부터 날 것이다. 크게 부서지는 소리가 언덕 지역에서부터 날 것이다.	And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
11	울부짖어라, 막데스에 사는 사람들아! 장사하는 사람들이 다 망했기 때문이다. 돈을 세어 주는 사람들도 다 끊어졌기 때문이다.	Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.
12	그때 일어날 일이다. 내가 등불을 들고 예루살렘을 샅샅이 들추어 보겠다. 술찌끼 위에 누워 굳어진 사람들에게 내가 벌을 내리겠다. 그들은 마음속으로 이렇게 말한다. ‘여호와는 잘해 주시지도 않고, 못해 주시지도 않아!’	And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The Lord will not do good, neither will he do evil.
13	그들의 재산은 털리게 되고, 그들의 집은 끔찍한 곳이 될 것이다. 그들이 집을 지어도 거기서 살지 못하고, 포도밭을 가꿔도 거기서 난 포도주를 마시지 못할 것이다.”	Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
14	(예언자) 여호와의 큰 날이 가깝습니다. 가깝고 아주 급히 닥칠 것입니다. 여호와의 날에 나는 소리! 용사가 거기서 애달프게 소리치는구나!	The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15	그날은 진노의 날입니다. 어려움과 괴로움의 날, 황무지와 불모지의 날입니다. 어둠과 캄캄함의 날, 구름과 짙은 어둠의 날입니다.	That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16	그날은 뿔나팔 소리와 군인들이 지르는 소리가 들리는 날입니다. 튼튼한 도시들과 높은 망루들을 공격할 때입니다.	A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
17	(하나님) “내가 사람들을 몰아붙일 것이다. 그들이 눈먼 사람처럼 걸을 것이다. 그들이 여호와에게 죄를 지었기 때문이다. 그리하여 그들의 피가 흙처럼, 그들의 살이 똥처럼 쏟아질 것이다.”	And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18	(예언자) 여호와의 진노의 날에 그들의 은도 그들의 금도 그들을 건져 내지 못할 것입니다. 여호와의 질투의 불에 온 땅이 잡아먹힐 것입니다. 여호와께서 땅에 사는 모든 사람을 참으로 무섭게 끝장내실 것이기 때문입니다.	Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
