1	돌아오라 다리우스 둘째 해 여덟째 달이었다. 여호와의 말씀이 스가랴에게 내려오는 일이 일어났다. 그는 베레갸의 아들이자 잇도의 손자로 예언자였다.	In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the Lord unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
2	(하나님) “여호와가 너희 조상들을 노여워하고 노여워했다.	The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
3	너는 그들에게 말해 주어라. (예언자) ‘전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「돌아오너라, 나에게로! ― 전능하신 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 그러면 나도 너희에게 돌아가겠다. ― 전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하셨습니다. ―	Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
4	너희 조상들처럼 되지 마라. 이전 예언자들이 그들에게 외쳤다.」 (예언자) 전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「부디 돌아오너라, 너희 악한 길, 너희 악한 행동에서부터! 그러나 그들은 듣지 않았고 나의 말에 주의를 기울이지 않았다. ― 여호와의 말씀입니다. ―	Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the Lord.
5	너희 조상들, 그들은 어디에 있는 것이냐? 또 예언자들, 그들이 영원히 사는 것이냐?	Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
6	오직 내가 나의 종들인 예언자들에게 명령한 나의 말들과 나의 규정들이, 그대로 너희 조상들에게 닥친 것이 아니냐? 그들이 돌아와서 말했다. 『전능하신 여호와께서 우리에게 하기로 계획하신 그대로, 우리의 길과 행동에 맞추어 우리한테 하셨구나!』」’”	But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the Lord of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
7	붉은색 말을 탄 사람의 환상 다리우스 둘째 해 열한째 달 곧 스밧달 스물넷째 날이었다. 여호와의 말씀이 스가랴에게 내려오는 일이 일어났다. 그는 베레갸의 아들이자 잇도의 손자로 예언자였다.	Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the Lord unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
8	(예언자) 내가 밤에 보았는데, 아, 한 사람이 붉은색 말을 타고 있는 것이 아닙니까! 그는 깊숙한 곳에 있는 은매화나무들 사이에 서 있었습니다. 그의 뒤로 붉은색 말들, 적갈색 말들, 하얀색 말들이 있었습니다.	I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
9	내가 물어보았습니다. “이것들이 무엇입니까, 천사님?” 나를 통해 말하는 천사가 나에게 대답했습니다. “이것들이 무엇인지 내가 그대에게 보여 주겠습니다.”	Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
10	뒤이어 은매화 사이에 서 있는 사람이 말했습니다. “이것들은 여호와께서 보내 주신 말들입니다. 타고서 땅을 두루두루 다녀 보라고요.”	And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
11	뒤이어 말 탄 사람들이 은매화 사이에 서 있는 여호와의 천사에게 말했습니다. “우리가 땅을 두루두루 다녀 보았는데, 아, 온 땅이 조용하고 평화로웠습니다.”	And they answered the angel of the Lord that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
12	뒤이어 여호와의 천사가 말씀드렸습니다. “전능하신 여호와여, 언제까지 예루살렘과 유다의 도시들에 자비를 베풀지 않으실 것입니까? 주님께서 이들을 저주하신 지 70년이나 되었습니다.”	Then the angel of the Lord answered and said, O Lord of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
13	여호와께서, 나를 통해 말하는 천사에게 좋은 말씀, 위로의 말씀으로 대답하셨습니다.	And the Lord answered the angel that talked with me with good words and comfortable words.
14	그러자 나를 통해 말하는 천사가 나에게 말했습니다. (천사) “널리 알리세요. (예언자) ‘전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「내가 예루살렘과 시온을 위해 엄청난 열정을 쏟아붓는다.	So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
15	느긋하게 지내는 민족들에 대해 내가 엄청나게 노여워한다. 나는 조금 노여워했는데, 그들은 재앙을 더 크게 만들었다.」	And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
16	(예언자) 이러므로 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「내가 자비로운 마음으로 예루살렘으로 돌아왔다. 나의 집을 그 가운데 짓도록 하겠다. ― 전능하신 여호와의 말씀입니다. ― 측량 끈을 예루살렘에 대고 팽팽히 당기도록 하겠다.」’”	Therefore thus saith the Lord; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the Lord of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
17	(천사) “다시 널리 알리세요. (예언자) ‘전능하신 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. (하나님) 「다시 나의 도시들에 좋은 것이 넘쳐 날 것이다. 여호와가 다시 시온을 위로하고, 다시 예루살렘을 골라 뽑을 것이다.」’”	Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
18	네 뿔과 네 대장장이의 환상 내가 또 눈을 돌려 보았는데, 아, 네 개의 뿔이 있는 것이 아닙니까!	Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
19	내가 나를 통해 말하는 천사에게 물어보았습니다. “이것들이 무엇입니까?” 그가 나에게 대답했습니다. “이것들은 유다와 이스라엘과 예루살렘을 흩뜨린 뿔들입니다.”	And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
20	여호와께서 또 나에게 네 명의 대장장이를 보여 주셨습니다.	And the Lord shewed me four carpenters.
21	내가 천사에게 물어보았습니다. “이 사람들은 무얼 하려고 오는 것입니까?” 그가 대답했습니다. “이것들은 유다를 흩뜨린 뿔들입니다. 그래서 그 누구도 자기 머리를 들 수 없는 정도에 이르렀습니다. 그러나 이 사람들이 와서 그 뿔들을 깜짝 놀라게 만들 것입니다. 민족들의 뿔들을 내던져 버릴 것입니다. 그들은 뿔을 들고 유다 땅으로 와서 그 땅에 사는 사람들을 흩뜨린 민족들입니다.”	Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
