1	제사장이 주의할 일들 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. “제사장들 곧 아론의 아들에게 말해 주어라. 그들에게 이렇게 말해라. ‘제사장은 주검에 닿아 백성 가운데서 스스로를 더럽히지 말아야 한다.	And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2	가까운 살붙이의 주검은 괜찮다. 곧 어머니나 아버지나 아들이나 딸이나 형제의 주검은 괜찮다.	But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
3	다른 남자의 아내가 되지 않은 젊은 여자인 누이의 주검도 괜찮다. 그런 주검에 닿아 스스로를 더러워지게 할 수는 있다.	And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4	제사장은 그의 백성 가운데 지도자이므로 스스로를 더럽혀 속되게 하지 말아야 한다.	But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5	제사장들은 머리를 다 밀어 버려 맨머리가 되게 해서는 안 되고, 수염 가장자리도 깎아서는 안 된다. 살에 생채기도 내서는 안 된다.	They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6	하나님께 거룩해야 하고, 하나님의 이름을 더럽혀서도 안 된다. 그들은 여호와에게 불사르는제물(화제물), 곧 그들의 하나님께 음식을 바치는 사람들이다. 그러므로 그들은 거룩해야 한다.	They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7	놀아나는 여자나 욕을 당한 여자나 남편에게서 쫓겨난 여자를 제사장이 아내로 맞아들여서는 안 된다. 제사장은 그의 하나님께 거룩하기 때문이다.	They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8	너는 제사장을 거룩하게 대해야 한다. 그는 너의 하나님께 음식을 바치는 사람이기 때문이다. 그는 너에게 거룩한 사람이어야 한다. 너희를 거룩하게 하는 나 여호와가 거룩하기 때문이다.	Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the Lord, which sanctify you, am holy.
9	제사장의 딸이 놀아나서 더러워지면, 아버지를 더럽히는 것이다. 불로 태워야 한다.	And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10	대제사장은 형제들 가운데서 으뜸이다. 기름붓는 예식에 쓰는 기름으로 머리에 부음받고, 제사장 일을 맡아 제사장 옷을 입었다. 그러므로 머리카락을 흩뜨려서도 안 되고, 옷을 찢어서도 안 된다.	And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11	누군가가 죽어도 가 보아서는 안 된다. 자기 아버지나 어머니라 하더라도 그 주검에 닿아 스스로를 더럽혀서도 안 된다.	Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
12	거룩한곳(성소)에서 나와서는 안 되고, 그의 하나님의 거룩한곳(성소)을 더럽혀서도 안 된다. 기름붓는 예식에 쓰는, 그의 하나님의 기름으로 부음받아, 하나님께 몸을 바친 사람이 되었기 때문이다. 나는 여호와다.	Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.
13	또 대제사장은 처녀를 아내로 맞아들여야 한다.	And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14	남편 여읜 여자나 쫓겨난 여자나 욕을 당한 여자나 놀아나는 여자를 아내로 맞아들여서는 안 된다. 자기 백성 가운데서 처녀를 아내로 맞아들여야 한다.	A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
15	자기 백성 가운데서 자기 자식을 더럽혀서도 안 된다. 나는 그를 거룩하게 하는 여호와이기 때문이다.’”	Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the Lord do sanctify him.
16	여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
17	“아론에게 말해 주어라. ‘대대로 너의 후손 가운데서 몸에 흠이 있는 사람은 하나님을 위한 음식을 바치는 데 나아와서는 안 된다.	Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18	몸에 흠이 있으면 누구든 나아와서는 안 된다. 시각장애인이나 지체장애인이나 안면장애인이나 몸 한 부분이 너무 큰 사람은 안 된다.	For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19	다리 부러진 사람이나 손 부러진 사람도 안 된다.	Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
20	척추장애인이나 키가 너무 작은 사람이나 눈이 희게 얼룩진 사람도 안 된다. 부스럼이 곪은 사람이나 피부 주름이 두꺼워진 사람이나 불알 으깨어진 사람도 안 된다.	Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21	아론 제사장의 후손 가운데서 몸에 흠이 있다고 하자. 그런 사람은 누구든지 여호와를 위한 불사르는제물(화제물)을 바치러 다가와서는 안 된다. 몸에 흠이 있는 사람은 하나님을 위한 음식을 바치러 다가와서는 안 된다.	No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22	하나님을 위한 음식, 곧 거룩거룩한음식(지성물)이든 거룩한 음식이든 그 가운데서 얼마는 먹을 수 있다.	He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23	절대로 나눔막으로는 들어와서는 안 되고, 제단에 다가와서도 안 된다. 몸에 흠이 있기 때문이다. 나의 거룩한곳(성소)들을 더럽히지 마라. 나는 그런 곳들을 거룩하게 하는 여호와이기 때문이다.’”	Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the Lord do sanctify them.
24	모세가 아론과 그의 아들들과 모든 이스라엘 사람에게 말해 주었다.	And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
