1	이런 사람들은 죽여야 한다 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	“너는 이스라엘 사람들에게 말해 주어라. ‘이스라엘 사람이든 이스라엘에 머무르는 나그네든, 자식을 몰렉에게 바치는 사람은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그 땅의 백성이 그를 돌로 쳐 죽여야 한다.	Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3	바로 내가 내 얼굴이 그 사람한테로 향하게 하고는, 자기 백성 가운데서 잘라 내 버릴 것이다. 그가 자식을 몰렉에게 바쳐 나의 거룩한곳(성소)을 더럽히고, 나의 거룩한 이름을 욕보였기 때문이다.	And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4	자식을 몰렉에게 바치는데도 그 지역 모든 사람이 정말로 눈감아 주고 그 사람을 죽이지 않았다고 하자.	And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5	그러면 내가 내 얼굴이 그 사람과 그의 가문한테로 향하게 하겠다. 그와 그를 뒤따라 놀아난, 몰렉을 뒤따라 놀아난 모든 사람을 자기 백성 가운데서 잘라 내 버릴 것이다.	Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
6	죽은 사람의 영이나 점치는 영에게로 향하여 그들을 뒤따라 놀아나는 사람이 있다고 하자. 그러면 내가 내 얼굴이 그 사람한테로 향하게 하고는, 자기 백성 가운데서 잘라 내 버리겠다.	And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
7	너희는 스스로를 거룩하게 하여 거룩해야 한다. 나는 여호와 너희의 하나님이기 때문이다.	Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
8	너희는 내가 여러 가지로 정해 놓은 것을 지키고 그대로 해야 한다. 나는 너희를 거룩하게 하는 여호와다.	And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
9	자기 아버지나 자기 어머니를 저주하는 사람은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그가 자기 아버지와 자기 어머니를 저주했으므로, 그가 피 흘려 죽는 것은 자기 죄 때문이다.	For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
10	남자가 다른 남자의 아내, 곧 이웃의 아내와 잠자리하면, 그렇게 잠자리한 남자와 여자는 반드시 죽여야 한다.	And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11	남자가 아버지의 아내와 함께 누우면, 아버지가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어낸 것이다. 그 둘은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 둘이 피 흘려 죽는 것은 자신들의 죄 때문이다.	And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12	남자가 며느리와 함께 누우면, 그 둘은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그들은 부끄러운 짓을 저지른 것이다. 둘이 피 흘려 죽는 것은 자신들의 죄 때문이다.	And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13	남자가 여자와 함께 눕듯이 남자와 함께 누우면, 그 둘은 역겨운 짓을 한 것이다. 그들은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 둘이 피 흘리는 것은 자신들의 죄 때문이다.	If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14	남자가 아내가 있는데도 장모까지 아내로 맞아들이면, 이는 지저분한 짓이다. 남자와 두 여자를 불태워 버려야 한다. 그래서 너희 가운데 지저분한 것이 없게 해야 한다.	And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15	남자가 짐승과 함께 누우면, 그는 반드시 죽여야 한다. 너희는 그 짐승도 죽여야 한다.	And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16	여자가 아무 짐승이든 가까이하여 몸을 섞으면, 너희는 여자와 짐승을 반드시 죽여야 한다. 둘이 피 흘려 죽는 것은 자신들의 죄 때문이다.	And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17	남자가, 자기 아버지의 딸이든 자기 어머니의 딸이든, 자기 누이를 데리고 가서 누이가 벌거벗은 것을 보고, 누이는 그가 벌거벗은 것을 보았다고 하자. 그러면 이것은 창피스러운 짓이다. 그들은 백성이 보는 데서 잘려 나갈 것이다. 누이가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어냈으므로, 그가 저지른 잘못의 짐을 짊어져야 한다.	And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18	남자가 생리하는 여자와 함께 누워 여자가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어냈다고 하자. 그러면 그는 그 여자의 근원을 벌거벗긴 것이고, 그 여자는 자기 피의 근원을 들추어낸 것이다. 그 둘은 자신들의 백성 가운데서 잘려 나갈 것이다.	And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19	너는 이모나 고모가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그것은 살붙이를 벌거벗기는 짓이다. 너희가 저지른 잘못의 짐을 짊어져야 한다.	And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
20	남자가 큰어머니나 작은어머니와 함께 누웠으면, 그는 아버지 형제가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어낸 것이다. 그들은 그 죄의 짐을 짊어져야 한다. 자식 없이 죽을 것이다.	And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21	남자가 형제의 아내를 자기 아내로 맞아들이면, 그것은 물리쳐야 할 짓이다. 형제가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어낸 것이다. 그들에게는 자식이 없을 것이다.	And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
22	너희는 나의 모든 규정과 나의 모든 법령을 지켜 그대로 따라야 한다. 그래서 내가 데려다주어 너희가 살 그 땅이 너희를 토해 내지 않게 해야 한다.	Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
23	내가 너희 앞에서부터 내보낼 민족이 정해 놓은 것에 맞추어 살지 마라. 그들이 이런 온갖 짓을 저질러서, 내가 그들을 지겨워했기 때문이다.	And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24	내가 너희에게 말했다. 「바로 너희가 그들의 땅을 차지할 것이다. 내가 직접 그 땅을 너희에게 주어 차지하게 하겠다. 젖이 흐르고 꿀이 있는 땅이다.」 나는 여호와 너희의 하나님이다. 내가 너희를 여러 백성 가운데서 구별해 냈다.	But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.
25	너희는 깨끗한 짐승과 깨끗하지 않은 짐승, 더러운 새와 깨끗한 새를 구별해야 한다. 내가 너희에게 더럽다고 구별해 준 짐승이나 새나 땅에서 기는 짐승 때문에 사람들이 너희를 역겹게 여기지 않게 하여라.	Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26	너희는 내게 거룩하게 되어야 한다. 나 여호와가 거룩하기 때문이다. 또 내가 너희를 여러 백성에서 구별해 내어 내 것으로 삼았기 때문이다.	And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
27	남자든 여자든, 그 안에 죽은 사람의 영이나 점치는 영이 있는 사람은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 돌로 쳐 죽여야 한다. 그들이 피 흘려 죽는 것은 자신들의 죄 때문이다.’”	A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
