1	다른 민족들의 관습을 따르지 말라 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.	And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2	“이스라엘 사람들에게 말해 주어라. ‘나는 여호와 너희의 하나님이다.	Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.
3	너희는 너희가 살았던 이집트 땅의 방식대로 하지 마라. 내가 너희를 데려다줄 가나안 땅의 방식대로도 하지 마라. 그들이 여러 가지로 정해 놓은 것에 맞추어 살지 마라.	After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
4	너희는 나의 법령들을 따르고 나의 규정들을 지키며 그 안에서 걸어가야 한다. 나는 여호와 너희의 하나님이다.	Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the Lord your God.
5	너희는 나의 규정들과 법령들을 지켜야 한다. 사람이 그대로 따르면, 그 덕분에 살아갈 것이다. 나는 여호와다.	Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.
6	그 누구도 아무 살붙이를 가까이하여 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내서는 안 된다. 나는 여호와다.	None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
7	너의 아버지가 벌거벗은 것과 너의 어머니가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그는 너의 어머니이다. 그가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라.	The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
8	아버지의 다른 아내가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그것은 아버지가 벌거벗은 것과 다를 바 없다.	The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.
9	너의 누이가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 네 아버지의 딸이든 네 어머니의 딸이든, 집에서 태어났든 밖에서 태어났든, 그런 누이가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라.	The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
10	너의 손녀나 외손녀가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그가 벌거벗은 것은 네 자신이 벌거벗은 것과 다를 바 없기 때문이다.	The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
11	너는 아버지의 다른 아내가 아버지에게 낳아 준 딸이 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그는 너의 누이다. 그가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라.	The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
12	고모가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 고모는 아버지의 살붙이다.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.
13	이모가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 이모는 어머니의 살붙이다.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.
14	아버지 형제의 아내가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그의 아내를 가까이하지 마라. 그는 너의 큰어머니이거나 작은어머니다.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
15	며느리가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그는 아들의 아내다. 그가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
16	너는 네 형제의 아내가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라. 그가 벌거벗은 것은 너의 형제가 벌거벗은 것과 다를 바 없다.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.
17	한 여자뿐만 아니라 그 딸이 벌거벗은 것까지 들추어내지 마라. 그의 친손녀나 외손녀를 데려다가 그가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지도 마라. 그 여자들은 살붙이다. 그것은 지저분한 짓이다.	Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18	아내가 있는데도 그 자매를 다른 아내로 맞아들이지 마라. 아내가 아직 살아 있는 동안에 그 누이가 벌거벗은 것까지 들추어내지 마라.	Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
19	생리 때문에 깨끗하지 않은 가운데 있는 여자를 가까이하여 그가 벌거벗은 것을 들추어내지 마라.	Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20	동족의 아내에게 잠자리를 마련해 주고서 정액을 쏟지 마라. 그 여자와 함께 더러워질 것이다.	Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.
21	몰렉에게 바치도록 자식을 내주지 마라. 너의 하나님의 이름을 더럽히지 마라. 나는 여호와다.	And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
22	여자와 함께 눕듯이, 남자와 함께 눕지 마라. 그것은 역겨운 짓이다.	Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23	짐승이라면 그 무엇과도 함께 눕지 마라. 그 일로 더러워질 것이다. 짐승과 몸을 섞으려고 여자가 그 앞에 서서는 안 된다. 그것은 부끄러운 짓이다.	Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24	이 모든 것 가운데 어떤 것으로라도 너희 스스로를 더러워지게 하지 마라. 내가 너희 앞에서 내보낼 민족들이 이런 것들로 스스로를 더러워지게 했다.	Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25	그래서 땅이 더럽혀졌다. 나는 그 땅의 잘못을 두고 책임을 물어, 그 땅이 거기 사는 사람들을 토해 내게 했다.	And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26	너희는 나의 규정들과 법령들을 지켜라. 그래서 토박이든 너희 가운데 나그네로 살고 있는 사람이든 이런 역겨운 짓은 하나도 하지 마라.	Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27	너희 앞서 그 땅에 있던 사람들은 이 온갖 역겨운 짓을 하여 그 땅을 더러워지게 했다.	(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28	너희가 땅을 더럽히면, 너희 앞서 있던 민족들을 땅이 토해 냈듯이, 너희도 토해 낼 것이다.	That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
29	이 온갖 역겨운 짓 가운데서 하나라도 저지르는 사람은 누구든 자기 백성 가운데서 잘려 나갈 것이다.	For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30	너희는 나에게 지킬 것을 지켜야 한다. 그리하여 너희 앞서 사람들이 만든 역겨운 관습을 따르지 마라. 그런 짓으로 스스로를 더럽히지 마라. 나는 여호와 너희의 하나님이다.’”	Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.
