절	새한글성경 (2024)	King James Version
1	거짓 가르침에 주의하라 성령님이 똑똑히 말씀하시네. 마지막 때가 되면 몇몇 사람들이 믿음에서 떨어져 나갈 걸세. 그래서 속여 헤매게 하는 영들에게, 또 귀신들의 가르침에 관심을 기울일 걸세.	Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2	그러한 가르침은 거짓말쟁이들의 위선에 뿌리를 둔 것이지. 그 양심이 불로 지져진 듯 마비되어 있는 거짓말쟁이들 말일세.	Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3	그들은 결혼하는 것을 금지하고, 음식물들을 멀리하라고 한다네. 그러나 음식물들은 하나님이, 진리를 믿고 깨달아 아는 사람들이 감사함으로 받아먹도록 창조하신 것이라네.	Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4	하나님이 창조하신 모든 것은 좋은 것이네. 내버릴 것이 하나도 없지. 감사함으로 받아들이면 말일세.	For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5	그 모든 것은 하나님의 말씀과 기도를 통해서 거룩해지기 때문이라네.	For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6	그대가 이런 것들을 형제자매들 앞에 내놓는다면, 그대는 그리스도 예수님의 좋은 섬김이가 될 걸세. 믿음의 말씀들과, 그대가 뒤따르고 있는 선한 가르침의 말씀들로 양육을 받으면서 말일세.	If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
7	저속하고 허황한 신화들을 물리치시게. 스스로를 훈련시켜 경건에 이르도록 하시게.	But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
8	몸을 훈련시키는 것은 조금 유익하지만, 경건은 모든 면에서 유익하니까 말일세. 경건은 지금 세대와 장차 올 세대에서 누릴 생명을 약속해 주는 것이네.	For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
9	이 말은 믿을 만하고, 전적으로 받아들일 만한 것이네.	This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10	이것을 위해서 우리가 힘들여 일하고 애써 싸우고 있네. 우리는 살아 계신 하나님께 희망을 걸고 있기 때문이지. 모든 사람의 구원자이신, 특히 믿는 사람들의 구원자이신 하나님께 말일세.	For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
11	교회 지도자가 할 일 그대는 이것들을 단단히 일러 주고 가르치시게.	These things command and teach.
12	아무도 자네가 젊다고 깔보지 못하게 하시게. 오히려 믿는 사람들의 본보기가 되시게. 말과 생활 방식과 사랑과 믿음과 순수함에서 말일세.	Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13	내가 갈 때까지 읽어 주는 일, 권유하는 일, 가르치는 일에 관심을 기울이시게.	Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14	그대 안에 있는 은혜의 선물을 대수롭지 않은 것으로 여기지 마시게. 장로회가 손을 얹어 안수할 때에 예언을 통해 그대에게 주신 은혜의 선물을 말일세.	Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15	이런 일들에 자질을 길러 갖추시게. 이런 일들에 매진하시게. 그리하여 그대가 앞으로 나아가고 있음이 모두에게 드러나 보이도록 하시게.	Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16	그대 자신에게, 또한 가르치는 일에 마음을 쓰시게. 그것들을 꾸준히 계속하시게. 이렇게 함으로써 그대 자신도 구원하고, 그대의 말을 듣는 사람들도 구원할 것이기 때문이네.	Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
